• Could hear running water behind the walls.

“Very nice room & great location. Huge benefit - we were able to walk across the street to Downtown Disney. Staff was very friendly and helpful - let us check in early and check out late. Only problem was we could hear water in pipes behind wall in restroom - minor pain.”

• It was a fantastic with the price I got, but it was inconvenient to stores and malls and one has to pay a lot for taxi.
• Being inconvenient to malls in terms of walking since taxi is very expensive in Orlando.

• The comfort of the beds.
• The elevator smelled bad and the bathroom door came to close to the toilet in our room.

“The lobby was nice, but I was disappointed when I got to the room. Nothing special about it. The elevators smelled like maintenance man all of the time. I also hate paying to park your car when you are already paying them to stay there.”

“Absolutely lovely! Check in was quick. We arrived a few hours ahead of schedule, but the staff had a problem checking us in early and the clerk had the forethought to tell us the next three available shuttle times for the park so we wouldn't feel stressed for time. The room was comfortable, and clean. The fact that there are two sinks in the room made such a big difference. It was much easier for us all to get ready in the morning that way. Towels aren't all miniature either, which my husband fully appreciated.”

• The pool accommodated the children and adults. It was awesome.
• The beds could be bigger. One double bed for two adults.

“The decor was nice. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly. The dining areas were not snobbish and were family friendly. The pool area was great. They had one hot hot-tub, one cooler hot-tub, two big swimming pools with shallow and deep ends and a kiddie-splash pool. The entire family enjoyed one part or the other at the pool.”

• Easy access to Disney parks
• Not as kid friendly as i expected.

“The hotel was pretty good. Had a slight problem at first when they sent me to a room that had yet to be cleaned. After the problem was rectified everything else was good. Parking was ten dollars a day.”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was good size and had a refridgerator. Even though older everything seemed to be maintained and up to date. Location was excellent, just cross street to get to Downtown Disney. This is only hotel in Downtown Disney Resort Hotels to have Magic Hours.”

• Very close to Disney, wonderful pool.
• Paying for parking, no complimentary breakfast, long wait for the bus to Disney.

“My two children and I were very pleased with this hotel. After the very long wait to get back to the hotel from the Magic Kingdom, we chose to drive ourselves and not use the bus. This unfortunately cost us more money because you don't get free parking at the parks. Otherwise we were very happy with the hotel.”

• Great location. On Disney property so you recieve those benifits. Very helpful people.
• Parking was very expensive!!!!about nine dollars per day. Visitors also had to pay. There was no free parking as an option.

• I liked the location.
• Cleanliness, rudeness, noise level, poor water pressure and uncomfortable bed.

“This was a surprise celebration for my anniversary. The only surprises we received was that the rooms were dirty, the customer service was poor, the rooms smell of cigarettes, and the walls were so thin that I could hear whole conversations through them which kept us up. A lot of kids running through the halls, not romantic at all.”

• They left a small birthday cake in the room as a surprise for my mom.
• The Hilton Vacation Club guy positioned right next to the elevators. Annoying.

“Great value for the money. It was my mother's birthday, which I told them at check-in, and when we returned to the room later that night, there was a small birthday cake there. Location was great - very close to Downtown Disney area.”

• I loved the bed and rooms. The pool was great, and the shuttle to Walt Disney World was awesome.
• Had to call numerous times to get a fridge, and the bathroom had a moldy smell.

• Ugly rooms. No water for 3 days.

“Informed water would be turned off for 3 days from 10am - 4pm the day before it occurred. Tried to shower at 9am & the water was already turned off. Stayed on the 14th floor & had to shower on the 3rd floor instead. Talked to management about lack of water & he did not offer to make up for the inconvenience.”

“This hotel was great if you are looking to go to Disneyworld, although I would recommend staying at one of the hotels on the disney premisis to avoid the 20 - 30 minute bus ride. The hotel offered some great restaurant choices and the staff was friendly. I would go back again.”

“Great location, nice pool, rooms clean and tidy - only a little small and no room for bigger suitcases available. In room-safe was very convenient. Bathroom was clean but smelled old and humid. Only a few steps to Downtown Disney where restaurants and clubs are available.”

• We liked the close proximity of Disney Village and we didn't have to wait for an elevator.
• Self parking now costs.

“I would stay at this hotel again. It is obviously an older hotel but very well kept. Nice pool area. Just a couple on minor issues with the room; 1) gross stain (of some kind) on the ceramic bathroom floor that could not be removed it seems, but was slightly tacky to the touch, 2) shower nozzle was not properly secured and came off its sprout unless you were very careful.”

• The hotel was nice and in a good location.
• Apparently, there was construction underway which caused constant bothersome noise.

“Overall, the hotel experience would have been satisfactory except that from the hours of about 7:30 am unit after 6 pm there were very annoying constant banging noises apparently from construction activity at the hotel. This made the experience in the room very unpleasant.”

“The hotel was clean and conveniently located. We spent most of our time visiting Orlando's attractions (Disney, Islands of Adventure & Universal Studios). We were out of the room more than we were in it, but it was nice to have such a comfortable place to come back too at the end of each day.”

“My wife and I stayed for a weekend at this hotel and you couldn't ask for a better location. Within comfortable walking distance to Downtown Disney and just minutes away from great restaurants and all the shopping you can handle. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We stayed at the Hilton to go to Mickey's not so scary Halloween. The transportation was great and we didn't have to wait long at all! The only complaint for the whole trip was when we needed a safety pin for my daughter's costume; it ended up being too big for her! No one could help us! Other than that, we would stay again!”

• Ergonomics of the desk for a laptop computer. Too high.

“The Buena Vista Hilton is ideally located close to the Disney Theme Parks, Downtown Disney and a wide variety of restaurants and stores. The hotel has several amenities including an ice cream bar, well stocked convenience store, pool, exercise facility and knowledgeable support staff.”

• They were nickel and dimming you the whole time, more than any other hotel I've ever stayed at.

“Good location but the hotel feels very much like it hasn't been upgraded since the early 1990s/late 1980s. Additionally, I've stayed at like quality hotels in Paris, NYC, London, Los Angeles, and none of these hotels make you feel like you are being charged for every little thing as much as this hotel. even internet access in the business center was 20 cents a minute. The location was ok with respect to being close to Disney, but no better than any other hotel in the Theme park area of Orlando.”

• Terrific room, staff exceptional.
• First room had no AC - but we were swapped to another one within minutes.

“A very good value. The entire property is Disney clean and kept in nearly new condition. Very comfortable room, bordering on luxurious. Great shower! Enjoyed the LCD TV and the two sinks. The staff is extremely well-trained and friendly. Would definitely go again.”
