• The room was spacious, clean, attractive and huge!
• There was not a bakery or deli to get a quick bite to eat. The store was well stocked.

“We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. For the price we expected that there would be issues or disappointments but there were none. For seeing Disney on a short time frame and a budget this was a great place to stay. Thank you.”

• Room was not cleaned very well.

“Nice hotel, great location. Very good sized rooms. Asked several times to have someone bring up to take car of burned out light bulbs but nobody ever did. Small complaint. Good hotel. 3 minute walk from Downtown Disney. Although I chose to take my car, shuttles to Disney were very frequent.”

• I have nothing negative to say at all.

“This was one of the nicest hotels stays I have had. My 10 year old son and my sister were very pleased with everything. The rooms were huge,Decorated beautifully Very clean and cheerful. It was so quiet. The pool was nice. The food was great. Room service was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff was always nice and courteous. It was within walking distance of downtown Disney and very close like 2 minutes away from MGM,Typhoon Lagoon and Epcot .5 minutes from the Magic Kingdom. We felt safe and secure at all time. We just returned last week. Aug 31 2006 We were there during Ernesto and the staff updated hotel guest for all new developements. Hot chocolate chip cookie were available at the desk all the time at no cost. My son was thrilled .This was place great .We highly recommend this. I don't think I could stay at a regular hotel again. Having a suite here for a week spoiled us. No complaints at all. A ten all around. We will be back”

• Comfortable. Would bring kids back to stay.
• There were only smoking rooms available. Preferred to stay in non-smoking.

“This is a great place to stay - if you are on business, if you are on a romantic get away, or if you are bringing the family to see the world. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The common areas are clean and inviting. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Will definitely stay here again soon!”

• We loved the suite idea, we were in one room and the kids were in another.
• Nothing, everything was fine.

“Great for kids and the location was great for Disney and if you want to go to other places in Orlando, I-4 was right there. Would stay again. Older hotel, but nicely kept.”

“This hotel was awesome! I never had this great of sleep at any other hotel. The room was nice and dark, the bed was unbelievable, and my 6 year old actually slept until 10a.m!! Great prices at the restaurant and the food was actually really good! What a great hotel!”

“I liked the hotel a lot but The last couple of times that I have booked a room I either get a noisy room need to the highway or a room that needs remodeling or smells. ”

“Overall we had a great time, we loved the pool and room. We had 2 problems, the first room we got was still dirty, the beds were still not made. After a short call to the front desk they gave us a new room. The other thing was their fire alarm went off at 11:45pm and we all had to get out of bed and go outside for about 30 min while the firemen looked for fire, they found nothing.”

• The only thing that did not appeal to me was the hot tub at the pool was not properly cared for.

“Great hotel, easy access to all theme parks and highways and airports. The staff was pleasant and did anything for you. Called and left messages of things going on in area and with special offers for parks and future visits. I had my 14 year old daughter with me and they treated her with respect and went above and beyond to make sure our visit was pleasurable.”

• I was put on a smoking floor even though I had a non-smoking room.

• I like how the bedroom was separate from the living space.
• Even though it says Disney Land Resort, its far away from Disney.

“Clean, large, convenient I visit about once a month to see family and this hotel was one of the better places to stay. large "living" space with sofa, chair, TV, and dining table. Bedroom was spacious with another TV and one in the bathroom as well. Great location. Right off I-4.”

• Terrific customer service and complimentary transportation to Disney and Downtown Disney.
• Nothing.

“This hotel does not pale--fun, colorful and spacious rooms, quiet hallways, easy transportation to Disney parks and Downtown Disney. Concierge seems to be helpful although we didn't use it. Rooms and bathroom were extremely clean. Overall, an A+ hotel. We had a wonderful time. Thanks!”

• The air conditioning unit was right in the bad foot wall . and was very loud.

• The maid service was not very good.

“The hotel suite is nicely sized to give an open and comfortable atmosphere. The maid service did not clean the tables or replace all the pillows back on the bed. They also did not refill my sugar and creamer selections for my coffee. The sink in the bar area was never cleaned. Although the beds were comfortable and seemed to be recently updated, the rest of the room seemed to be older and in need of being updated. The ceiling tiles were stained. The wall and window decorations were nice. There is a nice game room with an outside pool table. The hotel check in line for registration was extremely slow. The hotel location was great. It is conveniently located on Disney property. ”

• The room was great and the atmosphere was perfect. We enjoyed it very much.
• One little glitch was getting the right information on the shuttle, but it worked out after all. Just be clear and double check times.

“The hotel provides a great off-site vite for Disney or even other visitors to Orlando. We enjoyed the hotel, it's amenities and the closeness to Downtown Disney. The suites are extremely large and served our purposes wonderfully.”

“The hotel parking was well lighted. The room was clean even though part of a wall had a patch on it as though they had repaired the wall without painting it. The beds were comfortable and the living area/kitchen space was roomy and clean. The staff was friendly.”

• It was more family-oriented than I expected, we would have preferred something more romantic.

“We were able to check in early, which was nice since check in is usually 4:00pm. The room was clean and every staff member was friendly and helpful. The hotel is decorated with families in mind, I think because everything is in bold, primary colors. Our stay was pleasant, however, it was our anniversary and something more romantic would have been great.”

• The bus service to the Walt Disney world parks and entertainment was excellent.
• The pool area did not feel as special as the rest of the hotel.

“With a kid friendly, but not overly sugared interior and a slightly 80s exterior, the Doubletree Guest Suites are excellent for a family vacation or for a group of vacationing adults. The hotel is technically located on Disney's expansive Lake Buena Vista property. There is a bus service that whisks you to and from the Disney parks, watermarks, and Downtown Disney area every 30 minutes or less. The rooms are nicely decorated with a modern yet fun and colorful theme. The beds and pillows are amazing. There were three TVs in my suite, one in the living room, one in the bedroom, and one in the bathroom. Overall, I was very impressed with my stay.”

• Bathroom was old, grout was moldy, ceiling was badly patched, paint was bad.
