• Clean. Friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful.
• The bed squeaked when we rolled over.

“Front end staff was beyond friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel was quiet and easy to find. When they realized that they had booked us into 2 king rooms and we had 6 children with us, they gave us a free upgrade for 1 room into a suite. I
would stay there for a vacation, the room was comfortable and roomy!”

• Not much to like because every event was tainted by poor service, attitude, etc.
• Offering a free two day stay for all gone wrong, hardly compensates.

“Dividing doors did not work. No fan in bath. Furniture dirty/stained. Restaurant did not want to provide service to pool and gave excuses. Requested non-smoking room but room reeked of tobacco and only given one opportunity to move when it was inconvenient to all. Every day cleaning staff omitted something. Towels, Kleenex, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, coffee etc. The day before leaving the cleaning staff took my personal alarm clock. It was there when leaving and went back to room when they were done and it was gone. I could go on and on. What a lousy way to spend vacation.”

• No AC, slow response, laundry facility poor, musty smell from vents, charge for internet, food very expensive for quality.

“I would not stay there again. The staff was very nice but did not deliver in a timely manner, small kitchen like area but no storage. Foul odor from ventilation when A.C. was working. Laundry area was in disrepair. No action taken when reported. No change machine, guests are required to go from the 7th floor laundry to the lobby for change.”

“The room was very spacious (had a separate living area, dining area, and bedroom area) and was very clean and comfortable. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable, and both the bedroom and the living area had large-screen LCD televisions. The Wolfgang Puck's coffee provided in the room was excellent. Room also had a small refrigerator and sink near the dining room area. Like a small apartment.”

• I have 4 children and the suite was perfect for us. We loved it!

“We stayed at this hotel both before and after our Disney Resort (Wilderness Lodge) stay and loved this hotel just as much. The suites were very spacious and very clean. We were very happy and would return again and most likely do our whole Disney stay at this hotel.”

• The Location was great! Close to the parks, shopping & restaurants.
• The doors to the bedroom in the Suite were not very private. The Lights kept the kids up when they went to sleep.

“Great Location! Close to the parks, restaurants and shopping! The room was clean. We stayed in a suite so the kids would have their own space. The louvered doors separating the "master" bedroom & their pull out sofa did not provide much privacy, however. We wanted a separate space because my 5 year old is a very noisy sleeper. I could hear her and they had a hard time going to sleep because we had our light on watching TV. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel. We did not go to the pool or the restaurant in the hotel so can't comment. It was nice having a refrigerator for cold drinks, a microwave and sink. It was a good value for the family!”

“Description said hotel was inside wdw resort, which was correct. However not the main resort and Disney transportation (mono-rail, boats) do not run to this hotel. I would not stay at this hotel unless you plan on waiting 30 min to 1 hour for a packed bus ride to and from the parks. Otherwise very clean, spacious rooms. Restaurants close. Staff was friendly at check-in, but not after that.”

• The restaurant staff and server were very accommodating.
• Internet service was not working. Changes rooms 3 times.

“The hotel does not reflect other doubletrees that I have stayed in. It appears to be an old best western. It definitely needs modernization in the rooms. Very cheap looking furniture and appears to be worn.”

• Did not like the bus transportation set up for Disney World. Misleading!!!

• They were remodeling the lobby.

“The hotel was very family friendly. The staff went out of their way to make staying with young children easy. The lobby was in the middle of being remodeled and left a little to be desired, but it looked like it would be nice when it was completed. They did a good job working around the guests during the remodeling.”

“The hotel is neat, clean, and comfortable. Loved the pull out sofa bed. Having a teenager makes the extra room space great. Definitely will stay here again.”

• There were two parts to the room- the living kitchen part were separated from the bed/bath part.
• The messages left on the phone to sell us stuff.

“I was Incredibly thrilled with the room and hotel. The staff went well out of their way to make our stay absolutely fabulous. It was clean and the room was large with two TVs so that my daughter and I could watch separate shows for once. Two thumbs up!”

• No 24 hour store.

“Overall, this hotel was perfect for us for this stay. We were in LBY to attend the Disney parks, and we were able to get transportation around the area perfectly. The only thing I didn't like was that the store closed before we were back from downtown Disney. Since the bus runs until 3 am, the little store should be open until then for late night water, sodas, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.”

• It was the nicest place I have stayed at in years. An excellent choice.
• Only one limited restaurant.

• The front desk staff was professional and made me feel welcome. My needs were met at all times. The cookies as usual were great.
• To exit the freeway and make that left turn to your hotel needs more signage.

“This property was priced appropriately and the staff well-trained to make a guest feel at home. The parking lot had good lighting but a little more on the blind spots from the building would have be an added bonus for female guests. It would also be useful if there were eating utensils in the suites, but overall this is a good hotel and I would do a return visit. Oh, it would be useful to have Disney world hotel maps for conference meetings at other Disney sites.”

• We had two young children with us and the suite was great for putting them to bed before us. The room was big and we would stay there again.
• The hotel may technically be on Disney property but it did not seem like it. We could have stayed down the street for much less.

“The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean. The kids really enjoyed the pool and we liked how our room was set up - two double beds separated from the living room and sofa couch. We picked this hotel because it said it was on Disney property, but we could have stayed down the street for much less.”

• The room was spacious, clean, attractive and huge!
• There was not a bakery or deli to get a quick bite to eat. The store was well stocked.

“We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. For the price we expected that there would be issues or disappointments but there were none. For seeing Disney on a short time frame and a budget this was a great place to stay. Thank you.”

“Nice hotel, great location. Very good sized rooms. Asked several times to have someone bring up to take car of burned out light bulbs but nobody ever did. Small complaint. Good hotel. 3 minute walk from Downtown Disney. Although I chose to take my car, shuttles to Disney were very frequent.”

• I have nothing negative to say at all.

“This was one of the nicest hotels stays I have had. My 10 year old son and my sister were very pleased with everything. The rooms were huge,Decorated beautifully Very clean and cheerful. It was so quiet. The pool was nice. The food was great. Room service was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff was always nice and courteous. It was within walking distance of downtown Disney and very close like 2 minutes away from MGM,Typhoon Lagoon and Epcot .5 minutes from the Magic Kingdom. We felt safe and secure at all time. We just returned last week. Aug 31 2006 We were there during Ernesto and the staff updated hotel guest for all new developements. Hot chocolate chip cookie were available at the desk all the time at no cost. My son was thrilled .This was place great .We highly recommend this. I don't think I could stay at a regular hotel again. Having a suite here for a week spoiled us. No complaints at all. A ten all around. We will be back”

• There were only smoking rooms available. Preferred to stay in non-smoking.

“This is a great place to stay - if you are on business, if you are on a romantic get away, or if you are bringing the family to see the world. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The common areas are clean and inviting. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Will definitely stay here again soon!”

• We loved the suite idea, we were in one room and the kids were in another.
• Nothing, everything was fine.

“Great for kids and the location was great for Disney and if you want to go to other places in Orlando, I-4 was right there. Would stay again. Older hotel, but nicely kept.”

“This hotel was awesome! I never had this great of sleep at any other hotel. The room was nice and dark, the bed was unbelievable, and my 6 year old actually slept until 10a.m!! Great prices at the restaurant and the food was actually really good! What a great hotel!”

“Overall we had a great time, we loved the pool and room. We had 2 problems, the first room we got was still dirty, the beds were still not made. After a short call to the front desk they gave us a new room. The other thing was their fire alarm went off at 11:45pm and we all had to get out of bed and go outside for about 30 min while the firemen looked for fire, they found nothing.”

• Great, location, easy access to all parks and easy access to major highways and airports.
• The only thing that did not appeal to me was the hot tub at the pool was not properly cared for.

Called and left messages of things going on in area and with special offers for parks and future visits. I had my 14 year old daughter with me and they treated her with respect and went above and beyond to make sure our visit was pleasurable.”

• Beds are comfortable , the room is cool & the lobby is detailed.

“Doubletree Suite was perfect for my family. Even though we'd got there late at night, we were able to find it easily. The room decorations were very fantastic. My kids loved it.”
