“Old, moldy, soaked beds and carpet, roaches, and rusty toilets. My car was messed with and some men tried to get in my door, when I called security, they never came. I waited 2 hours for help. Spend the extra $15 a night and go to the new Holiday Inn across the street, and then just use Seralagos free shuttle service. Go to their lobby for the schedule.” Jul 10, 2009 by
Therese from Homosassa,FL
“I have stayed here numerous times. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. They have great security that is visible 24/7.” May 27, 2009 by
bill from essex, u.k
“I was initially worried that I had made a wrong choice when I read some of the reviews online, but after my family and I stayed there I only have good things to say about the Seralago. The staff was all friendly and helpful and treated all of us as VIP's, regardless if it were the breakfast staff or the receptionists or cleaning staff. The room was smallish, but was cleaned every day, fresh clean towels every day and overall the entire place was spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to the states, and when we return next year we will definitely be staying at the Seralago. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a very good one, well done!” Mar 26, 2009 by
Jim from Monona, WI
“Could not have been more enjoyable. The staff was attentive to any & all our needs, competent & professional. The landscaped & floral covered grounds were immaculate. The pool was clean & in excellent shape. The rooms were spotless, furnishings in excellent condition including the king mattress which I'm guessing was relatively new. The inside bar & poolside Tiki Bar were great! The various shops (gift & quick-mart) within the hotel were most convenient. I have spent many nights traveling, staying at everything and this was nice.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Pauliki from Howell, NJ
“On the positive, the room is convenient to attractions and restaurants in the Kissimmee area and Disney. A quick drive (15 minutes) to Universal, International Drive and even the Orlando Airport. The cleaning staff was attentive did a good job keeping the room in order and the bathrooms were clean. Staff was accommodating and the lobby/gift shop/breakfast area/bar/shoppette were nice. On the minus, the rooms are older and there was a slight musty smell. We had a "kids suite" which was just a double bed room with a faux log cabin fort built around the second bed which was replaced by a bunk and additional kids bed. It made the room seem smaller.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Linda from Altamonte Springs, FL
“I do not understand how some people could say this hotel was dirty as we found that it was good and clean. It did not have bugs or smell moldy. I have allergies and if it had any smells I would have not been able to stay there for the two nights.” Apr 28, 2008 by
Chris M. from Lockport, NY
“Unbelievable value - great staff, 2 pools, will DEFINITELY visit again!!” Apr 24, 2008 by
Dominic from Marco Island, FL
“This hotel has convinced me never to try for under a 2 1/2 star again!” Apr 16, 2008 by
Kim from Okeechobee, FL
“Excellent value and location. Clean modern rooms. Nice mattresses and plump not flat pillows. It was a little noisy when we first arrived about 11PM but it calmed down.” Apr 13, 2008 by
Valerie from Palm Coast, FL
“Great service, friendly staff as well as helpful. Had a problem with the TV remote, had a tech come up just to reprogram it for me. I didn't get blown off & quick service at that. The restaurant & bar downstairs were great. My son enjoyed the arcade room. The pool was clean & refreshing. Was an amazing vacation for me & I would stay at this hotel again. A+.” Apr 11, 2008 by
Melinda from Spring Hill, FL
“I will never stay there again what a waste of money and time and my kids vacation.” Apr 7, 2008 by
Judy
“Great hotel and very family friendly.” Apr 6, 2008 by
Lisa from Shedden, ON CA
“The Seralago was very convenient to everything we wanted to do and see and was very affordable. Everything was very clean. The pool was nice as well. I think we got more than our moneys worth!” Apr 1, 2008 by
Tm from Chatham, IL
“The room was small and smelled of mildew. Beds were uncomfortable and small. Bathroom was cramped and dark. But staff was very friendly and the pools were heated and large enough to accommodate large numbers of guests. Location was close enough to parks and attractions that it was convenient, but there are other accommodations closer to specific parks, if that's important.” Mar 17, 2008 by
Andrea from Detroit, MI
“The lobby had tons of brochures to grab. The room only had a VHS player which was kind of lame. Our room was cleaned up every day we stayed there with fresh towels added as well. The beds were really uncomfortable. Overall, great experience.” Feb 26, 2008 by
Natalie from Miami, FL
“The Seralago hotel is very simple. It is good if you only really use it for sleeping in. This hotel advertises that they have a free shuttle to Disney World however it is awful. The hotel shared it's shuttle with 3 other hotels and by the time it reached the Seralago there were no seats and often no standing room. They only offer 3 morning time departures to Disney World and 3 night time returns. Nothing else. Very inconvenient. Especially since most people staying at the hotel are there to visit Disney World. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly.” Feb 26, 2008 by
Melody from Ashland, OH
“The hotel was good for the price we paid. We didn't spend a lot of time there as we were at Disney most of the day. It had a nice pool. We just wished there would have been a free/cheaper breakfast. We were completely satisfied with our stay!” Feb 19, 2008 by
Marcy from Maryville, TN
“Hotel was confused, Manager quickly fixed problems and gave us a non-smoking room due to daughter's allergies. Placed by a bunch of partying road workers (they were there to stay a while, chairs outside and they hung outside a lot), was moved the next day to a very quiet area.” Feb 19, 2008 by
Allison from Jacksonville, FL
“Noisy. Room only had VHS player- No one travels with VHS tapes. Need to put DVD players in the rooms.” Jan 12, 2008 by
Rich from Roswell, GA
“This hotel was wonderful for the kids and myself. It was close to all the attractions and could walk to Old Town. The room was a had a worn look to it where everything on outside was given an update but not the room. However if you are just using it to sleep for a few hours it is a plus. We will be going back if the price is right!!” Jan 6, 2008 by
Sherri M. from Buffalo, NY
“The hotel was affordable and in a convenient location. However, the hotel needs to be renovated. There was a terrible smell in the room from the mold, the mirrors and decorations were corroded, and the beds were quite uncomfortable. Housekeeping was good, but could only do so much with the hotel in its current state. Free shuttle service to WDW is nice, but the times are limited and not very convenient. The shuttle was also late departing from the park and left us stranded in the rain in the parking lot. I would suggest looking at other hotels in the area before choosing this one.” Jan 5, 2008 by
Lori from Holiday, FL
“This hotel was not a 3 star hotel. We went to the main hotel and were given a room at the back in a small motel type of room. We had several roaches and informed the staff who did nothing, did not apologize and did not even acknowledge that we had made a complaint. I had to call the manager directly once we got home to make my complaint known and was then given a complementary room for the next time we visit, but I am not sure that we would go to that hotel again.” Jan 2, 2008 by
Kevin from Buford, GA
“I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone with kids going to Disney. Location is convenient and plenty of shopping/restaurants close by.” Oct 30, 2007 by
Chet from New York, NY
“Very nice.” Oct 11, 2007 by
Glenna from Atlanta
“This was a great hotel. The only thing to complain about was the hot tubs were not hot enough. Other than that, we were very pleased. I was concerned about using the free shuttle service, however, it was great, the shuttle ran all day long coning and going. So if you decided to sleep in, you still had a free ride to the Disney parks and the last shuttle picked up at 10:30 nightly, so we were able to see and experience all that Disney had to offer. It was by far one of the best vacations we've had. I will use Seralogo again and will highly recommend it to everyone. Great location and the breakfast bar were good to.” Oct 11, 2007 by
Aidee from Austin, TX
“I saw the cleaning lady clean the room when I got back early one day & I noticed the bathtub wasnt cleaned because I left behind some hair there.” Aug 3, 2007 by
Shannon from Vidalia, GA
“I would not ever stay in this hotel again.” Jul 19, 2007 by
Nora from Miramar, FL
“Overall is good, they had the wrong room the first night and it took them 6 hrs to get us an extra bed. The next day they accommodated us in a room we wanted and everything went good from there. Dining room is terrible, there are not a lot of choices for food and buffet was poor of choices and flavor.” Jul 18, 2007 by
Kerry from Cape Coral, FL
“The room was recently redone and the on site service personnel were seen working until 8:00 pm doing maintenance. The facility is older, but management endeavors to keep it modern. It met my expectations of a 2 star hotel.” Jul 16, 2007 by
Ramon from Hammond, IN
“The Seralago was NOT what I expected. The smell of mold and mildew hit me hard as I walked into the room. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom had mold in the bathtub, and the shower spray was covered with it as well. The bed was covered with a thin bedspread, one sheet, and there was a very visible plastic mattress pad under the fitted sheet. I was ready to run out of there the first night, but we had already paid for our stay. I was disgusted and disappointed.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Jul 11, 2007 by

“We had low expectations initially. Upon arrival, the staff was very customer focused and upgraded our room at no charge. The room was called a "suite" but was just a modified room that previously had double beds. However, the "fort" had three beds which was perfect for my children and was quite a surprise. Based on what we paid, the staff and the location, we were completely satisfied and would stay there again if we could get the same rate and room.” May 31, 2007 by
James from Spring Hill, FL
“Use to an old holiday in and has not been updated, remolded or cleaned apparently since they took over. This hotel is a real stay away from. I paid 35 a night and that was too much.” May 14, 2007 by
Jenny from Gainesville, FL
“Good location, easy to find. Loved the fridge in the room and internet access. Two nice pools. Staff need to be advised not to talk so loud every morning when gathering outside rooms waiting to begin shift. Delivery trucks disturb guests when unloading early, poor location of storage in center of guest area.” May 5, 2007 by
Patricia from Coral Springs, FL
“Good location, bad facilities. was not worth the money I paid for it.” Apr 25, 2007 by
Michelle from Boca Raton, FL
“Great for families who want to stay close to the parks & save lots of money. Room had two double beds, two sinks, small refrigerator & microwave. Nice pool, arcade, kid friendly restaurant with fabulous breakfast buffet at $6.99, excellent price! Can't say enough about it, will stay there again & recommend to all my family & friends!” Apr 11, 2007 by
Mike from Jackson, MI
“Great location very clean rooms and a friendly staff welcome you to the Disney area. My only complaints were no in room wireless internet and they could use some extra help at the front desk as there was always a long line. I would stay there again.” Apr 10, 2007 by
Frederick A. from Addison, IL
“This hotel is convenient to Disney World. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and polite. The room itself was fine. The outer appearance of the hotel reminded me of a low-income housing area. Very run down and nasty looking. I'm glad I was by myself because I would have been embarrassed to have a woman with me.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 23, 2007 by
Daisy A. from Katy, TX
“The place is old, smells bad, linens were very old, worn out and dirty, very outdated, the rooms were very dirty; lot of rust on the doors, yellow spots on the ceiling and the remote control for the TV did not work. ” Mar 4, 2007 by
Timothy from Rock Island, IL
“Good location and price. However, the hotel was not very clean. The hotel staff did not clean our room very thoroughly. Mold on bathroom showers. When we checked in, the room had a faucet flooding water on the bathroom counter and floor. When maintenance came to fix the leak, they walked into the room while one of us was in the shower. Each hotel customer is confronted by a high-pressure timeshares salesman posing as a "concierge." this hotel should have been rated as a one-star economy hotel.” Feb 28, 2007 by
Greg from Peachtree City, GA
“Needs outside up keed, better pillows, more pillows and staff did not deliver promises.” Feb 22, 2007 by
Fabian from Van Nuys, CA
“Good for business not pleasure travel.” Feb 21, 2007 by
Renee from Port Charlotte, FL
“I did not spend a lot of time in the hotel but, for the money was a nice deal room was well cleaned when we came home from our long day at the parks, wish they included sea world in more of their attraction viewings and maps.” Jan 9, 2007 by
David from Marietta, GA
“We stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed this hotel. It had a microwave and fridge which was really nice. The pool had towels and was well maintained. Overall we really enjoyed this hotel. It was convenient to nearby restaurants and wow. We did not use the restaurant located on site. ” Jan 8, 2007 by
Marc from Hwathorn Woods, IL
“I had paid for 4 nights at this hotel. After the first day I decided I couldn't subject my wife and kids to such a dreadful and dismal place to stay while on a family vacation. We left to stay at a much nicer hotel. I regret having wasted money through it for this experience. This hotel should not be rated at anything higher than 1 star.” Jan 6, 2007 by
Andy from Indianapolis, IN
“This was the worst and most disgusting hotel room that I have ever stayed in. The carpet was very sticky and covered with more stains than I could count. There was also dried puke on the middle blanket of the bed and the carpet beside the bed smelled horribly of puke as well. No good! Not recommended!” Jan 5, 2007 by
Zhan from Lexington, KY
“We had the worst experience in this hotel although we actually did not stay in it. We prepaid 2 rooms 2 nights 3 weeks before our arrival. But when we arrived there at 1 am., they told us there was no standard room left. They said they would upgraded our rooms to a 2-room-suiten, which is actually 1 one bedroom. They said the room allowed up to 8 people to live, but the 8 people had to share the only bathroom and 2 beds in the bedroom, a couch and a folded bed in the living room. We are 2 couples and no one wanted to share that 2-room-suiten. Anyway, it was 1 am and we were so tired after drove from Miami. We decided to take it. The unexpected thing happened. The room they gave us was locked inside. The lady in the counter asked a guard to check it and finally told us the room was occupied. The guests in it decided to extend their stay and did not tell them. My god, how does their system work?! Regardless we bought this excuse or not, we could not stay there because that was the last room. We were transferred by them to another hotel for 1 night. But they only gave us the address instead of leading us there. Unfortunately, the second hotel just changed their Name and sera largo gave us the old Name. So in the midnight at Orlando, with the help of gps, we still cannot find the hotel although it is very close to sera largo. When we finally figured it out and checked in, it was 2:30 am. We really did not want to pack and go back to sera largo in the next day because we planned to Disney and they only can check us in at 4pm. We argued with them. From the receptionist to manger, the answer was none. All of them asked us to understand their situation, but no one understood ours. After transferred 3 times, we reached their main manager and she allowed us to continue to stay in our current hotel. Although our request was accepted finally, we felt exhausted and our visit to Disney was actually ruined. I highly recommend not staying in that hotel!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 7, 2006 by

“Better than I had expected. Friendly people, clean room, nice amenities. Very satisfied.” Dec 3, 2006 by
Linda from Seminole, FL
“The room was average. I don't think this was a 2 star hotel. The other 2 star hotels were much nicer that I have stayed at.” Nov 15, 2006 by
Stacey from Valdosta, GA
“If you are looking for family friendly, this qualifies. Two big pools and playground areas, "movie theatre," game room, and the 2 room suite are perfect for larger families. If, however, you are looking for class, this is not the place. The TV¿s are quite small, the furnishings are dated and lower quality... For the price, it was hard to beat; it was clean, roomy, and family-oriented for a low price. But it is important to note the rating; the 2 star rating it received is pretty accurate.” Oct 25, 2006 by
Martha from Brandon, FL
“We had a great experience at the hotel. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet is reasonably priced as well. They had messed up the room reservation but made it right by upgrading us to a kid suite on the first floor, as I have an 8 year old handicapped child. Overall I am very satisfied.”
