• It was affordable, the desk attendent was quick and efficient. Location was rather ideal.
• Older carpeting and fixtures needed attention. Cleanliness wasn't quite amazing.

• Desptie the initial grungy condition of the room, our chamber maid did an excellent job cleaning the bed, bathroom, and surfaces.
• The carpeting was darkened from years of grime and always damp.

• It was a wonderful location. Close to Disney World!
• The television was nailed to the floor and did not allow for the connecting door in the middle of the rooms to open completely. Only half way.

• It was really convenient to all the places we were going to and easy to find.
• It had a mildew smell.

“This was a good hotel for the use. We weren't lounging in the hotel just sleeping there and it served its purpose. Wish they offered larger beds for double occupancy.”

• The house keeping kept up more or less our expectation, this was very important to us.
• You can't get Wi-Fi in your room, unless you are in hotel lobby. limited cable channels.

• Rooms are not attractive and gives motel like feel.

“Nearby to Disney World and Universal Studios. But the rooms are not attractive and gives a motel like feel (buzzing air conditioner, it was so noisy in the middle of the night, had to get up and switch that off). They also charged me some surcharge and it came to $15. I would not suggest this to leisure family trips. This place is best suited for friends who want to explore nearby theme parks.”

• It was quite and the bed was comfortable.
• My only problem with the hotel room was it had a major roach problem.

“We spent one night out of our 7 night honeymoon at this hotel. The staff was friendly, parking was abundant, and an IHOP was right next to the hotel. My only problem was that when we woke up there were roaches crawling over the walls, near the sink, and we even found one in our bed. The room appeared to be very clean and all but the roach problem was enough for me to consider not staying a second night.”

“The pool was dirty, the TV remote did not work, there were some very loud kids running around after midnight. We reported this to the front desk and nothing seemed to be done about it. I made a 15 minute phone call to Chicago and was charged $25!”

• I found the room to be clean and house keeping was friendly.
• Front desk girls rude, hung up on us when we called to confirm reservation and we got there they seemed to be more worried about leaving for the day.

“We liked the location, hotel was clean front desk attitude needs help says wireless connection for computer but the 3rd building where we were staying was not updated for this. nice to know if you depend on your computer for a lot of things.”

• The location, friendly and timeliness it took to get a room very good.
• No parking by the room after a certain hour.

“The service desk ladies were friendly and very helpful, however the rooms have an awful smell to them and there was no parking after a certain hour near my room. However, I have to say that the rooms were nice and neat every day. There were water spills and no signs at the ice machine.”

• Location! Simply amazing.
• Doors were a little on the broken side.

“Hotel room was exactly what I paid for. The room itself was pretty good, clean, and free of any musky smells. Location is by far the best I've ever seen for the price I paid. Literally 4 minutes from all Disney parks and the entire WDW resort.”

• Location is excellent - Very close to Disney & convenient to shopping and food.
• Graduation weekend, there was a large group of teenagers having a party in a nearby room.

“Hotel was not fancy, but very clean, staff was helpful, and the location is excellent for Disney. I would definitely stay there again. The "free shuttle" to the parks currently has a $10 fuel surcharge per person.”

• The back is very quiet.
• The bed frames were poorly built and I cut my ankle on one.

“Overall the hotel was quiet. It looked good and freshly painted. We got what we needed while being there, the staff was really friendly and it was so close to Disney, Sea World and everywhere else we wanted to go to. All we needed was a place to crash and that is what we got, the beds were freshly made everyday and the pool area with a hot tub suited us just perfectly after walking around Disney all day!”

• Fantastic location, - close to so much!
• They stuck me in a back corner building.

“Great for the price. It smelled nice and the cleaning staff did a good job with the room. It's so close to Disney and a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops as well. Very convenient to jump-on the I-4 if needed. The snack shop was full of munchies and good foo-foo coffees. If you're needing a safe and clean place to lay your head, this is a perfect hotel.”

“Arrived late (1 am). Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. When I got to my room, there were 3 bugs in the bathroom, and 2 in the main room. The room also had a funny smell, kind of musty and a little sour. There were plenty of towels in the room, complimentary toiletries, a hair dryer and an ironing board and iron. When I visited the pool, the water was warmer than the air outside and it was 82 degrees that day. A little uncomfortable.”

• The desk reception was friendly.
• Linens were not cleaned properly and floors were worn and nappy.

“The pool area was nice although the bathrooms near the pool were very smelly and we had to pass them to get to our room, the room service was poor and linens were not changed appropriately. I tossed dirty bedding on the floor in an attempt to get clean sheets/spread and they were put back on the bed with no response from room service when asked about it.”

“The hotel was ok at first but when we told the front desk that we had dirty sheets it took over 1 ½ hours to get clean sheets and we had to make the bed ourselves. I asked to speak to the manager and the front desk would not allow me to speak to anyone. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Howard Johnson's. I expected so much more.”

“Hotel is very close to attractions, quiet. Staff will go out of their way to help you with problems. They had a sales guy in lobby that constantly pestered you for condo. Did not like that. He would not take NO for any answer. Hotel great for getting you information on shows and helping you purchase tickets. Just don't go through Condo sales guy!”

“They were terrible. Service was bad. The 2 rooms that I had to use were dirty no plugs in the bathroom I had to pay for a refrigerator the rug in one room was soak and wet I was never given any discount or helped moved to a new room after I was told they would send someone everybody expected a tip for horrible service.”

We would definitely stay here again!”

“I was happy with my decision to stay here. I had my adult children meeting me there and the hotel accommodated us. We were there for a family reunion and then spent 6 extra days visiting the Disney parks. It was a quick 5-10 minute trip down the street. Shopping of all kinds very close. Very happy with the price and location.”

“This hotel has been remodel but still has mildew cracks and crevasse. If money is tight its okay but far from romantic and clean. Staff was nice. Free internet signal was too weak to use. Would rather pay $20 more and get a nicer place but you get what you pay for.”

• I will say that the room was basically clean. It did have a little smell which went away after I turned on the air.

“The lack of airport shuttle when we were counting on it made it so inconvenient when my husband had to find and pay for a taxi at 2 am! In addition, the hotel staff was so not knowledgeable about directions. They had me lost three times because of their inadequacy! Imagine that the man did not know how to give directions from Disney world! The guy who answered the phone could not speak a complete sentence! Then when I got to the hotel it took about a half hour to check in and then the room keys did not work! But I will say that the room was decent and clean.”
