“The hotel room was very clean and new, decor looks upscale and modern. Parking is right under building and is free for self parking. There is a shuttle to Duval that leaves 20 past every hour and bike rentals are right across street. Room was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful.” Feb 18, 2009 by
Jennifer from St Johns,FL

“Hotel was amazing, we stayed here for the Disney marathon and the location made it very easy to get back and forth to. I did not realize that there was a charge for parking until I arrived. You can't really walk to any other bars/restaurants, and those on property are pretty pricey, but the quality is very good. Room was great, pools and facilities were wonderful and well cared for, and the atrium is amazing. My friends and I had a blast.” Jan 25, 2009 by
Shawn from Dayton, OH
“Awesome. The staff, the location, the facility. Perfect!” Jan 12, 2009 by
Eddie from Stoney Creek,Canada
“Good location near highway. Pools are excellent and are open 24 hours. The children pool is especially great. Rooms are very good size and beds are comfortable. In room computer is a great idea and very helpful.” Jan 9, 2009 by
Mike from Austin,TX
“This hotel is beautiful on the inside and has a lot of things to do Jan 5, 2009 by

“In a sentence: Large hotel built to house lots of people. Nothing quaint or charming about this hotel. The front desk keeps a constant queue. Indoor atriums are great for kids - but are fake and aesthetically very man made. Nice pool for kids and workout room for adults.” Dec 30, 2008 by
Heather from Miami Lakes,FL
“It's Gaylord Palms. That's all you need to know! Just a wonderful, awesome resort that is close to all the action in Orlando. I stay here every time I travel to the area. So much to do, so much to see in just the hotel alone!” Oct 25, 2008 by

“Hotel charges extra fees daily, which they call mandatory resort fee. If you ask in detail, they will tell you 2 bottles of water, internet, newspaper, etc. This fee, you can not get out of, however overall very nice hotel, except daily charge around 17 dollars.” Oct 23, 2008 by
Matthew
“I've stayed before, and I will stay again. It is a very nice resort hotel.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Mary K. from Coconut Creek, FL
“Clean, friendly staff, ok food, shops and food a little pricy for quality. Beds were terrible!” Aug 20, 2008 by
Rob from Jacksonville, FL
“The hotel is a mini theme park, with an atrium with several different areas made to look like different regions in Florida, including a full size sail-boat restaurant in water.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Kevin from Dunedin, FL
“The family pool was closed for the two days we were there, which was one of the main reasons we chose a resort. It happens, but it shouldn't happen in summer. The rooms were nice, hotel like but nice. The resort fees and parking added almost $30 a day to the price. Dining off property was a little far to find many options at all, but especially healthy/vegetarian friendly options. There is a grocery store a couple of exits up that would have helped with breakfasts/lunches/snacks had I known before hand. In the end, I will probably stay again, bringing groceries with me and ordering dinner in.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Ed from Port Charlotte, FL
“Gaylord Palms Resort, one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at in the Orlando area, or any where else! Thanks for making our Orlando experience such a delight.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Jane from Savannah, GA
“This is a beautiful hotel. Easy to get to. Right off of I4. It is convenient to Sea World and Disney. Close to family friendly restaurants off of hotel property. Great places to eat at hotel. The pool area is awesome. The staff was so friendly, beware of parking fees and resort fees.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Alyson from Melbourne, FL
“When I arrived to the hotel the lady at the front desk was nice, that's about where the good customer service ends. For a place such as the Gaylord Palms I would expect nothing short of every staff member anticipating your needs. I promised my Daughter a Strawberry Daiquiri, but that seemed like an impossible feat. We waited at the outside bar for 5 minutes before a guy asked if we had been helped, I responded with no just to find myself still waiting another 5 minutes. We ended up just leaving. Later in the evening when I went to an inside bar, it was the same thing, the guy seemed to show no attention to anyone at the bar. Again we waited at least 10 minutes, but this time we left with a drink. The family swimming pool was ok, but it would have been nice if in the hour and a half we were there someone would have brought out towels. We ate at on the boat that's inside for lunch. It was actually very good food, but again the service was very slow. I've stayed at many Resorts in Orlando and Gaylord Palms was far from the best. It's very nice inside but my Daughter nor myself were very happy there we couldn't wait to go home in the morning.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Stacy from Columbia, MO
“This was a great hotel to wow my family on our first night of our vacation.” Jul 24, 2008 by
Chris from Mason, MI
“Very nice hotel, would stay here again, be careful of the resort fee that you are untold about.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Paul from Fitchburg, MA
“This is a good hotel for business travelers because of the convention centers and such. It is not meant for the casual leisure traveler. The resort is enormous and it takes a good 7-8 to walk from the lobby to your room. If you are not on the first floor. Decent seafood restaurant, but dining is very overpriced for the quality. Be careful to check who your neighbor is as well. The walls are thin and you can hear everything.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Debra from Loxahachee, FL
“All in all a fabulous place to play.” Jul 10, 2008 by
Mario from Miami, FL
“Large hotel and convention facility. Comfortable room. Large enclosed atrium. Pool area not up to Resort Standards, for size of property. Daily $15 resort fee. Valet parking $18 daily. Self-parking $12 daily.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 8, 2008 by

“This hotel was very upscale, clean, Staff was friendly and wanted to help in any way. They also did not charge you for every little thing. Prices were reasonable. Restaurants were very nice and delicious. Price range varied.” Jun 28, 2008 by
Steve from Arlington Heights, IL
“Nice staff, clean room, beautiful facility. Parking should be included in the resort fee and if you want HDTV you should go somewhere else.” Jun 5, 2008 by
Angela from Panama City Beach, FL
“My children and I loved the Gaylord Palms. Our stay there preceded a Disney World onsite vacation. We never got tired of the Gaylord Palms, and we never managed to see it all. The buffet Italian restaurant was extremely good, and Javier was the best waiter I've had the pleasure of meeting. We had a breakfast there and dinner twice.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 4, 2008 by

“The hotel was very nice. The facilities and room were immaculate. My biggest complaint was the lack of attention from the staff. There were not enough chairs at the pool to accommodate the guests. In addition, they allowed children to swim in the adult pool as well as people to smoke at the pool even when there were signs that prohibited this. When we asked staff to take care of the situations, nothing was done. I was very disappointed about that, but otherwise it was a good visit.” Jun 4, 2008 by
Mike from Wellington, FL
“Very elegant hotel, nice amenities, but I was surprised by the additional resort and parking fees that substantially increased the per night charges.” Jun 3, 2008 by
Ben from Parkland, FL
“From the time we pulled up to the time we pulled away we had a 100% enjoyable stay. The consider it done attitude of the entire staff was wonderful. We even extended our stay a day because we were so pleased with the Gaylord Palms. The themes and pools had something for every family member and the availability of baby sitting services was a plus. We will use that the next time we visit and we will be visiting this location again.” May 31, 2008 by
Marc from Boca Raton, FL
“Everything was great as usual except room service and front desk. This is our 2nd visit to hotel and had the same problem both times. There's a paper to fill out if you want breakfast in morning. It must be put on your door before 1 a.m. Both times I put the dam thing out before 8 p.m. and both times nothing arrives and the paper is still on the door. When I call the front desk they don't seem to care and connect me to room service again at which point we get up and go out to breakfast. Maybe service is why the hotel was so empty.” May 30, 2008 by
Jennifer from New London, CT
“Very nice hotel. Beautiful atrium. Helpful staff. Would return.” May 30, 2008 by
Kim from Estero, FL
“Amazing destination resort. Very relaxing, but never boring. Many things to do for all age groups. Great pool area for younger kids. It was so much fun to explore around the atrium - for me as an adult and for my younger children 3 and 9. So much to see and do there was not much reason to leave the hotel. The staff was so friendly and professional. Our room had a balcony through to the atrium and the view was incredible. We left the doors open to hear the soothing sounds from the many waterfalls. It will be difficult to beat this resort.” May 29, 2008 by
Harold from Lakeland, FL
“It was a wonderful experience from the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out.” May 28, 2008 by

“The rooms are large and bride, I had a king size sleep number bed, which was good, the bathroom smells and was not well maintained.” May 22, 2008 by
Horace from Atlanta, GA
“Loved it, came here with a friend and it was all worth it. Hotel campus is huge enough to be able to go on a stroll.” May 21, 2008 by

“I had a very pleasant stay at Gaylord Palms & I would recommended to any person.” May 21, 2008 by
Sharon from Plant City, FL
“This was a girls weekend and we had a fantastic time. The resort is beautiful and relaxing and very easy access to lots of shopping and restaurants. The resort fee was kind of high but I hear it is at all the resorts. We would love to go back again!” May 21, 2008 by
Robert from Chuluota, FL
“Very nice for the price. Close to many of the attractions in Orlando.” May 21, 2008 by
Larry from Andover, MN
“The stay was nice but the room was not always cleaned as well as we would have liked and there was a mix-up when we got there because we on ly had one bed and we had asked for two.” May 20, 2008 by
K from Middletown, DE
“Great hotel. great location.” May 19, 2008 by
Richard from Jupiter, FL
“The hotel was attractive, priced correctly, convenient to most attractions and restaurants clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.” May 17, 2008 by
Michele from Odessa, FL
“The resort was extremely enjoyable. The Sunday brunch was excellent and the staff demonstrated outstanding service to their guests. The rooms were decorated very nice. My only dissatisfaction with the hotel was the parking. After checking into the hotel and self parking my car, it was very hard to find which door/elevators to use to get to our room. The facility needs to mark the entrances and light them better.” May 16, 2008 by
Katie from Canton, CT
“The rooms were average in terms of size and quality. The restaurants offered fantastic food and excellent selections but were a little on the pricey side. We were happy with the location of the hotel and the shuttle services that it offered. Negatives: The main drawback was that the hotel also served as a Convention Center and it was obvious that the convention guests were the resort's top priority. The only adult only pool was shut down for two of the four days we visited which left all of the non-convention guests trying to fit around one small child friendly swimming pool. The other negative were the daily resort and parking fees.” May 15, 2008 by
Austin from Gainesville, FL
“The Gaylord Palms Resort provides a great stay for travelers visiting the Disney World Resort. The hotel offers dining at three terrific onsite restaurants and many world class amenities. I was more than satisfied with the hospitality of the staff and would recommend the Gaylord over any Disney Resort. The parking and resort fees are a bit steep, but the hotel is still a great value considering all its perks.” May 15, 2008 by
Allison from Safety Harbor, FL
“This hotel was great. Our room was nice. Free shuttles to Disney & Sea World. $15.00/day resort fee was not included in the cost of the room. Many dinning options. Nice scenery all around.” May 13, 2008 by
Matt E. from Ocoee, FL
“Unbelievable! What a great experience!” May 12, 2008 by
Kelly from Parrish, FL
“The indoor gardens and spacious balcony room only begins to describe this beautiful resort. Having the prestigious spa was another bonus. The restaurants were wonderful and each had a truly unique ambience as well. They accommodated my wheel chair-bound guest with finesse. Our stay was so enjoyable that we were almost sorry that we had planned a day away from the resort to go to Epcot!” May 8, 2008 by
Beverly from Centralia, IL
“Our stay was wonderful, but we did leave and eat elsewhere after we paid 36.00 for the breakfast buffet. It was very good, but we just wanted some breakfast, not a feast. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, and our room was very beautiful and were upgraded to large at no extra cost. We are looking forward to staying on our next trip!” May 8, 2008 by
Connie from Aventura, FL
“Completely enjoyed the hotel and it's amentities. Very surprised by the comfort in the public areas. No need to leave in the evening, restaurants were very good and comfortable. This hotel is a safe bet for all from families, business and had a romantic atsmosphere.” Hotel Representatives:
