• Could smell the other rooms smokers, very noisy.

“I've been staying in this hotel for months, and about 50% of the time I am in a room that is non-smoking, yet I can smell smoke coming from a smoking room. The walls are thin and its commonly noisy. The front desk clerk is usually watching TV in a back room and sometimes I wait 5 minutes for service.”

• Mel, the clerk that over came all of our issues.
• Management attitude was terrible.

“The hotel would be lovely for a couple or a single traveling, especially for an extended stay. Does not allow you to pick how many beds are needed, consequently we spent several days in Jacksonville and SC having to inflate beds and sleep on floors.”

• The room was airy and not musty at all.
• I truly cannot think of one thing to put in here.

“I was very pleased with overall service and the cleanliness of the room. The sink microwave and stove top were spotless. The room itself was stocked with plenty of towels, blankets and sheets. I was very satisfied with everything; this was my third stay at bay meadows and would stay again and again. I highly recommend it.”

• It is easily accessible from i95.
• Confusion at the front desk at check in.

“Our stay was pleasant however at check in we were sent to a room which was not cleaned after someone else's checkout. We got another room with no problem. Since this is a residency hotel they don't offer daily housekeeping.”

• This chain needs better deep cleaning standards.

“The room was good, but I am a pessimist and think this chain could use better standards for deep cleaning. When staying in a hotel, no one wants to see minor blemishes on walls, carpet, especially with regard to the bathing areas. Nothing in particular but every time I stay at this brand of hotels, the rooms look like they are lacking a minor renovation or look slightly worn versus Hampton inn, which is the best value chain with no one finishing even remotely close to them for the price.”

• It was very damp, musty and possibly a bit moldy.

• The location, the hotel is not far away from the free way.
• There was 1 space stove was working out of the two, I think I should get a free night for that.

“The hotel was very quite and there is safety look at the mean entrance, once it to a 7:00 or so the door lock, if you have a check in card it will open the door. Beside the stove, my stay was great!”

• We had trouble with the key card, after our 2nd attempt to work the key card; they came to our room to explain how to use to my husband.
• 1/2 the time, there was no one at the front desk.

“It was very convenient in its location, clean, & had equipped kitchen. When I have to go to mayo clinic again next month, I will probably stay there again.”

• Refrigerator control broke, TV control broke.

“I checked in on a Wednesday evening without a problem. The customary shampoo was not in the room and due to flight restriction I has not brought any. My stay kept me away most of the day. I arrived too late a night to receive soap or shampoo from a desk clerk. My check out was also painless. Overall the stay was average, bed was just OK. Thanks.”

• Attractive grounds, a feeling of safety, clean rooms, quiet.
• Often there was the smell of food in the hallways because the units have kitchenettes.

“A convenient and clean place, oriented to the customer. Peaceful. The general neighborhood is more pleasant that many motels that are just on a "strip". This was my second stay, and I would certainly come back.”

• Hole in side of the mattress, time for a replacement. Bad TV reception on local channels.

“Outstanding economy studio-suites hotel, convenient not only to I-95 south of Jacksonville, but also to the Bay meadows neighborhoods east and west of I-95. Close to restaurants and shopping centers. Minimally equipped kitchenette (fridge, 2-burner cook top, microwave, toaster, Mr. Coffee, plates, pans, cups, silverware, glasses) is extremely convenient for a stay of several days.”
