• Location was the only good thing it had going for it!
• Rooms were very small /staff was not friendly, and pool was OK.

• Easy to find, microwave and refrigerator in room, heated indoor pool and hot tub, very comfortable bed.
• Noise from room upstairs - stomping, burnt out light bulbs, not enough towels, old TV.

“Nice place, very easy to find, convenient to freeway. Good pool and hot tub, fridge and microwave in room. However, burnt out light bulbs, not enough towels and old TV. Liked the wall control thermostat. Overall a nice place. In the morning the whole hotel smelled like warm chocolate chip cookies, wish I had time to have some.”

• The room smelled, not clean aroma, bed was very uncomfortable, and linens were old.

“I was not pleased with the conditions of our room. It had an old smell about it, the linens were thin and old looking, and the pillows did not match the size of the bed. The bathroom drain did not allow water to go down and the room was not cleaned. It appeared that the building was attempting a remodel, but the old was not gone by the time of our arrival.”

• I always appreciate a coffee maker in the room.
• No elevator; sign not clearly visible from highway.

“Just fine for our one night stop. Clean, hairdryer and coffee maker. Room temp easily set and it worked well. Restaurants nearby; easy off highway.”

• Breakfast included a waffle maker.
• Even though we stayed in a non-smoking room, the hallways smelled like smoke.

• As described. Convenient parking.
• Scratchy towels, staff attitude. Pillows were rocks.

“Note: Recent brand change from "Amerihost" to "Baymont" Basic hotel chain property. Room was clean and basic (plus fridge). No elevator at this 2-storey property but indoor corridors. Limited breakfast in small area. Staff was a little curt but functional. There are better hotels in Cambridge, but there are also worse ones.”

“Overall the room was clean, however hotel is showing sign of age. Wall paper is starting to peel, no exhaust fan in the bathroom so ceiling paint is cracking. Refridge was making loud noise I had to unplug it in the middle of the night.”

• This hotel is well located. It is on a main road and yet well enough back so as not to hear traffic.
• The help was different. The afternoon person was helpful and friendly. The morning person seemed to be unfriendly.

• The staff and room were exceptional, especially for the price we paid!
• No elevators, however the hotel only had two floors.

“The front desk was very accommodating and helpful. We experienced car trouble, and the staff was very helpful with recommending garages in the area. Id definitely stay here again!”

• The amenities for the price.
• We were not aware of the switch from Amerihost to Bay Mont. This made the property hard to find.

“The location was convenient to i77. The amenities were as nice as any 2 star hotels Ive stayed in. The indoor pool was enjoyable to me. The water temperature was warmer than normal pool temperatures, which made it nice for leisurely swimming and for children but not so nice for exercise swimming.”

• Overall very good accommodations. Clean, good service and a great price for the hotel.
• The only thing I did not like was the mattress on the bed was too hard.

• Cable boxes dysfunctional - could not order movies both nights, hotel staff did nothing to help and refused to even check our connection/setup.

• Love having an indoor pool in case of bad weather and the hot tub is great.
• Some of the rooms have fridges and microwaves but others don't. They need to update all of their rooms.

“This hotel is easy to find. The rooms are clean but some of them could be updated, and the indoor pool and hot tub is a definite bonus.”

• The hotel was very attractive and the staff on Thursday night was very friendly.
• The floor in our room was wet and was told something would be done but nothing was. Morning staff not very friendly.

• This hotel was clean and safe. My children loved the pool.
• Small Bathroom.

“We loved this very convenient and very clean hotel with extremely easy access to Route 70. It exceeded our expectations. The rooms were not fancy. They were clean and smelled good. The pool was very nice. Super hotel for the traveling family.”

• Absolutely loved the indoor pool and hot tub! Very relaxing and clean.
• Reviews said rooms were renovated and came with fridges and Microwaves. Ours had neither and hadn't been renovated.

“Hotel staff was pleasant enough. They didn't give us a receipt which I thought very strange. My parents also got a room and it was newly renovated and came with a fridge and microwave but ours had neither and the carpet was separated from the wall proving that it hadn't been renovated - as least not yet. But the room was clean.”

• Everything was very clean, continental breakfast, generally quiet, microwave & fridge.
• Very small bathroom with sink in main room.

“Amerihost was better than we expected. No Nastiest in the bathroom (mildew, cracks, peeling wallpaper or paint) like we experience often in 2 and 2.5 start motels. Bedspread even seemed fresh. Although we didn't use them we liked the microwave and fridge in the room. Service was friendly. Breakfast was not great, but nice to have.”

• Our room was clean quite and the price was good.
• It would be an unbeatable deal if they had slightly better mattresses.

“For the price we paid this hotel met with all my expectations. The front desk was polite and our room was clean and quite. They even have an indoor pool. It is a little out of the way, but the rate I paid made up for it.”

• I liked getting a very nice hotel room for a great price.
• The air conditioning unit was extremely loud and noisy.

“Clean; attractive decor; convenient location; many "extras"; fairly nice continental breakfast. The only negatives were: the extremely noisy air conditioner and the key cards stopped working before check out time and had to be reprogrammed so we could get back into our room. Over all, it was a very nice hotel.”

• This hotel was excellent. It is clean. The rooms are pretty big. The staff is so friendly!! Pool and Whirlpool are nice and clean.
• The bed! Never slept on something so uncomfortable. Had to take turns sleeping in the recliner.

“The hotel is great. It is a great value, it is clean, the staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool is heated and clean, the whirlpool was good. It was more than we expected. The bed however, left a lot to be desired. I would actually consider staying in a lesser establishment just to get a good nights sleep!”

• The room was great--it was quiet, clean. Bathroom arrangement was nice--tub/toilet in one room-sinks alone. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast.
• The sink area could be larger. Otherwise, a great stay.

• Great rate. Lots of TV channels.
• Non-smoking room was smoky smelling and in a smoky hallway. Breakfast was very limited.

“Clean, basic accommodations with heated pool, hot tub, and workout room close to rooms. If you have any sensitivity to smoke I would not recommend. Abbreviated continental breakfast served in small lobby area included cold cereal, donuts and bagels, cream cheese, bananas and apples. No yogurt, no bars, no waffles.”

• It was what I expected.

“The hotel was clean and met all my expectations. In room ammenities, were more than I expected and everything worked. Irt was convient to local restaurants. It was not in a noisy location. I paid $22.50 more at a Days Inn on my return trip, and it did not have the in room ammenities. But in all fairness it did have a restaurant in the hotel. That is not important to me though”
