• Convenient location.
• The water ran all night and no one came to see about it.

• Bathroom was clean. Beds were ok.
• The toilet was running when I came in but it was easy for me to fix.

“Definitely a 1 star hotel. I thought it was a bit expensive for what you get but it met all of my needs except for no icemaker.”

“The place was a dump- very dirty! As a woman traveling alone with a teenage daughter, I made a last minute decision to stay overnight since it was very late for driving (11pm) in a rural town. I felt very insecure checking in at the "night window" (the male attendant would not allow me inside to check in, pay, or anything). There was no security at all. The room was hot; there was visible debris on the carpet, mold & a cockroach in the bathroom. The floors felt hollow beneath- don't know if it was a pre-fabricated type place or what! The beds & pillows were not comfortable. When I tried to make coffee in the morning, there was some funk floating in the water- save your money- we would have fared better had we slept in the car!”

• It is quiet, despite being near a major highway. It is located in an area in which one can find one's way around. It is very central.
• I didn't dislike anything. Obviously, one doesn't have high expectations of a one-star Super 8.

“It was quiet. For me, that is a priority. I like its location. It is difficult to get lost, going and coming from the hotel. It was perfectly adequate and comfortable. Obviously, a Super 8 is not going to be luxurious.”

• The staff were very friendly.
• Safety.

“I was nervous to stay in this hotel. The safety issue was serious upon arrival I was disconcerted to see that half of the folder placed in your room by the hotel was devoted to advice on keeping safe. The neighborhood was poor, the security on the doors was not very good, and the hotel itself didn't give the vibe of a secure place. Additionally, the bathroom leaked badly and there was no way to fix it or turn it off. This was not a problem, per say, but does indicate they do not check their hotel rooms well and don't seem concerned for the money they are wasting in such a serious leak. Overall, I was very disappointed, and almost didn't stay there because of the safety issue.”
