• Clean. Our room and bed were wonderful.
• No ramp for luggage cart at back door. No ice on every floor.

“I remember this La Quinta as a favorite when we travel to Jacksonville. We didn't eat there - slept in. However, the front desk told me where to park and where to enter as our room was near the rear of the building. There was no ramped sidewalk for luggage cart. Ramp was at the side entrance around the corner - too far to walk on a cold night or a rainy morning. Otherwise, the is truly an outstanding hotel.”

• Bathroom doors not convenient.

“The hotel was what I would expect. The double bathroom doors were inconvenient. The automatic thermostat was nice as it saves energy and time adjusting settings. No mini fridge or microwave but free high speed internet. Nice basic room.”

• The hotel was clean, affordable and located only 10 miles from downtown.
• I liked everything.

“I was staying here while auditioning for American Idol. The staff was very supportive. They even had maps of the local area printed out for everyone. If I ever return to Jacksonville, I will be staying here.”

• Good value for the money-clean.
• No internet access in public space.

“My daughter and I stayed here one night on our way down to Dayton Beach. Visited the Anheuser Busch Plant in north Jacksonville. Clean room. VERY convenient to I95. Attractive exterior. Would stay here again.”

• The security of hotel and taste of the continental breakfast was great.
• If a hotel has a hot tub it needs to be HOT not cold for days like we heard.

“Evening staff was not knowledgeable but Hotel was very Secure. Jacuzzi was stone cold and thats why I chouse this location to relax.”

• Very pleasant staff. Every thing was great.
• Very hard to find the first time.

• Carpet had a bleached yellow stain by door.

• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• The ironing board was in disrepair.

“I would stay at this hotel again. It was very convenient to my meeting and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable for the most part. I personally found the mattress a little hard. The staff did not hesitate to provide extra towels when asked and even gave me change for the vending machines.”

• The room was very large, clean and pets were allowed.
• No wash clothes were provided, which made for awkward bathing.

“The rooms were quite large, along with the bathrooms. This hotel would be great for a business traveler as well, with a nice size desk in the room. A recliner was also provided, which made for easy television viewing. The rooms were clean and well stocked with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The only gripe came when no wash clothes were provided. This hotel is a great place to stay if you have a pet as well, as all of the rooms are pet friendly. A business traveler, family or romantic couple would like staying at this hotel.”

“Very nice. There were a couple of very minor issues with the room when I arrived that I didn't even report and they were fixed the next day anyway. Clean and bright. Good location.”

• 20 words are not enough - I will just use 3 - - Super Super Outstanding

“My experience before this one in another hotel was not pleasant. As bad as that one was, this one was the absolute best I have had. To be VERY HONEST, you would need to add at least 6 more circles to the right of strongly agree" for me to give you my accurate rating of this whole experience. I bring to your attention a young gentleman, by the name of Muriel (pronounced Murl) that was at the check in desk. He set the tone. I have traveled for years, and he is the best I have ever had initial contact with. This hotel made a very long convention a good business trip. Thank you."”
