- We had the view of the St. Johns River. It was very beautiful with the lights from the city.
- I was impressed with the cleanliness of my rooms bathroom. I didn't complain, I cleaned it myself.
“The location of the hotel made it conveniant for us to reach restaurants and shopping at the Jacksonville Landing. I was very impressed with the River view that we had from our room.”

- The staff was overly friendly and helpful.
- The room was very small and the bed was old and outdated.
“Overall, the hotel was a very nice place. However, the room provided was extremely small and cramped. The queen bed was a memory foam type and was extremely over used. It had a distinct valley in the middle which forced an uncomfortable night of rolling and migration towards the middle of the mattress.”

- The location.
- Dated and some of the staff were not very friendly.
“The hotel is dated. There was several maintenance issues in my room, such as the shower handle fell off, the bathroom sink was stopped up and would not drain. The staff were not the friendliest people in the world. I would choose another place to stay if I had the option.”

“The hotel is clean and the facilities are nice but the staff lacked basic customer service skills. My room wasn't ready until about 5pm - check in was at 3pm and had the wrong type of room. Also, we checked our luggage at the bell hop and when we came back four hours later it was still sitting by the front door. There were no apologies.”

- I was given a room with a great river view.
- The American Grill restaurant was dirty (especially the window blinds).

- The hotel was a very high quality hotel. The bathroom was awesome
- Parking was $8 a day

- Great location in downtown on the water.
- Too old and in need of some updates.
“Good hotel but across the river from the main part of Jacksonville, making it a little less desirable than the Omni and Hyatt. However, the water taxi was an easy commute to the other side. Good service except at breakfast in the American Grill. Our waiter was very rude but everyone else was friendly.”

- Total Non-smoking hotel.
- Extremely small bathrooms; foam mattress, small rooms, NOISY doors in the corridors.
“This property was centrally located in the downtown area. A super plus for us was that this is a totally non-smoking hotel! The desk registration/check out staff were extremely professional and friendly. The housekeeping staff was noisy very early in the morning and loud talking and not at all friendly. Night valet person was unfriendly, morning valet (different person) was very friendly. Our room smelled as though the bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time. The bathroom was so small, the room was very small as well. The dust ruffle on the bed was badly torn and stuffed between the mattress so as not to be seen. The mattress was only a thick piece of foam and very uncomfortable. The furniture was nicked and old looking. All hallway noise could be heard in the room because of very loud slamming doors and cracks around door frame. Hallway carpeting needs to be cleaned. ”

- Nice view
- Bathtub would not drain properly
“Engineering could not seem to clear the drain, so after 3 nights, they finally just gave us another room across the hall, which was a better room, anyway. We had been stuck in an odd shaped room, built around the stairwell, with a bed we did not prefer.”

- Location, not too big, but big. Very nice choice of restaurants.
- Parking was a little difficult.
“Very nice hotel with beautiful pool area overlooking the busy river and skyline of Jax. Right next to skyway station for 10 minute transportation to nightlife across the river at Jacksonville Landing. Attentive staff gave us great service and plenty of directions and suggestions for recreation. Also, hotel is right next door to MOSH (Museum of Science & History).”

“This hotel stated that it had a bar outside at the pool. it did, however, it has been closed for 2 years!!! they never changed their website!! no poolside service. had to eat and drink indoors... only one casual place to eat, with a limited menu. for a hilton hotel, it was a mess. the bathroom was old and dirty. the airvents were loaded with dust and grime, the light fixtures were full of bugs!!! very grosss. the bedspreads did not smell fresh and one had a sticky spot on it, as if food was on it. I expected more of a hotel worth this rating. the location was great, the pool was nice. we wanted to relax by a pool all weekend, which we did. but we were frustrated that we had to keep getting dressed and go inside to eat and drink. the staff were great, and very willing to help, no complaints there.”

- It was an ideal location in the midst of everything, and the hotel even had a Starbucks
“The hotel was lovely, the staff was very helpful, the rooms were a very nice size, and I could go on. The Hotel was right on the river and the riverwalk. You could access the water taxi from the backdoor and some evenings they offered a jazz dinner cruise right at the backdoor for an affordable fee.”

- Tempur-pedic mattress was outstanding. Good shower, too. All non-smoking was great.
- The friendly tone of the front desk staff changed drastically after they noted our reservation
“The location of the hotel, mattress and shower were great. Loved that the hotel was entirely non-smoking. Room service was prompt and very friendly(even got a follow-up phone call)our food was warm, and was a decent value for the price. Nice to have Starbucks coffee kiosk in the hotel lobby.”

“My husband and I went to a concert and came back to the hotel around 11:30 p.m. There was no valet, and we did not know where to park. There were many other cars out front with no one to park them. When I requested a king bed at the front desk upon checking in, they acted like I was asking them to do a huge favor. The customer service is lacking at this hotel.”

“Hotel located on St. Johns River, but is still extremely difficult to get to. Also, if you are with a convention or group meeting, make sure things promised to the group are actually given. i.e.; Parking. Normally $8 a day, was complimentary, and still they tried to charge. And I was there several nights.
The restaurant has a limited menu as well. It's great if you like burgers.”

- Floor had rooms being renovated, construction material in hall, noisy,
“Very disappointed for 3-Star upscale. Floor we were on had rooms being renovated, doors left open with construction debris in halls. Very loud traffic noise in room. Staff seemed friendly and there is a good restaurant attached to the hotel. I would have thought with the Super Bowl coming to Jacksonville, the Hilton would have been freshly painted and clean but I got the impression they didn't care, people would be coming regardless. I would not recommend bringing important business clients to this Hilton.”

- Location is right on river in downtown. It is not close to movies, malls, etc.
- We liked everything about it- except the cheerleader convention they were hosting!
