“It was an excellent hotel. Concerned however about the self parking as it is underground which is not an issue however it had rained and the garage was very wet and maintained an odor due to the sitting water.”

“This is defintely NOT a 3 star hotel. Room was not up kept. Paint peeling off of doors bathroom cabinets. Mold in bathroom in shower/tub. Air conditioning did not work right.”

“Hotel was not busy yet we were give a very small room, a double bed for two people - I'm 6'2' and 250 not a little guy. The front desk never asked anything about my needs, smoking, non-smoking king etc. Not a very good experience, if this hotel is a 3 1/2 star hotel by industry standards, I'll eat my hat.”

“Bathroom fixtures old and shabby. Comfortable bed. Convenient internet hookup. Refrigerator would have been good. Ice machine broken on 10th floor. Starbucks staff rude - wanted to charge me extra for milk in my $3.72 cup of coffee. Self-parking lot is creepy.”

- This hotel was extremely clean and the fitness area, room service and maintenance staff were exceptional.

- The staff were spectacular.

“The staff were excellent. The room was in disrepair - the toilet seat was cracked, ceiling tiles were missing in the hallway right outside my room. The ice machine on my floor didn't work. I was not impressed with the upkeep of the hotel at all.”

- The view was excellent and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
- Some of the fruit served was spoiled.
“The room was very nice, the only exception was that the bathroom sink area was quite small. We were on the concierge floor and the food served there wasn't very good, some fruit even tasted spoiled. The restaurant in the hotel, however, had excellent food! Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel & the view from the river side was fantastic. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.”

- The hotel was visibly beautiful and clean.
- The fire alarm went off at 3:15 am, had to run down 10 flights of stairs. Alarm was false, no one apologized.
“The hotel overall was great. I didn't like the fact that the fire alarm went off at 3 in the am and no one apologized for the inconvenience. Apparently it was a prank, but it shook my 10 up very bad, she could not go back to sleep, which in turn threw her next day off.”

- I love the fact that the hotel had a entrance to the riverwalk. Very romantic!
- I did not like the fact that my room didn't have a refrigerator, or a microwave. From the description, I thought all rooms contained these features.
“The location was perfect for watching the fireworks over the river on the 4th of July. But I did not like paying to park, there was no refrigerator, or microwave in the room, and there were no fast food restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was beautiful, but overated.”

- The customer service in the hotel was excellent.
- Hotel is a bit outdated to be considered a 3 star hotel.
“I would not consider it a 3 star hotel. There is no continental breakfast or happy hour or anything and the hotel restaurant is very pricy as is the Ruth's Chris hotel that is on the premises. The bed's were very comfortable and the pool was very clean. I think that this hotel is much more suited for the business traveler.”

- They gave us rooms on the same floor and had comfortable beds and the gifts on the bed were great.
- The lack of staff at the restaurant/coffee shop; only one register; we waited 35 minutes for coffee.

- The view is gorgeous. The tempur pedic mattress was heaven. Staff was a+.
- Room size is good for solo traveler, very small.
“The view from the Crowne Plaza surpassed the view from the hotels on the other side of the river. The side the Crowne is on looks more industrial. The room was comfortable and clean, the highlight being the balcony and room view and the tempur pedic mattress. The location of the hotel was perfect for the trip we were on and we were impressed with the staff who responded to a few requests within minutes. The hotel does appear to have been updated but could use new carpets and tubs which looked like they were painted vs. Replaced. Ruth's Chris steakhouse was right downstairs. I would recommend this hotel if in this area.”

- The staff was very courteous and friendly. We would go back just to see them.
- We liked everything.

- Our room had a balcony with a great view. Also great restaurants and impeccable service, free parking for guests
- There was nothing I didn't like.

- The temper pedic mattresses were awesome.
- It would have been nice to have 2 beds as opposed to one. My best friend was with me and we had to share the bed.
“Very clean. A little disappointed that there was a peewee cheerleading convention being held there and I was given the last room available. Very noisy in the lobby. Could not use the lounge to relax with my friend. We are both married and travel every Thanksgiving night to JAX to shop for 3 days. It was also disappointing that we had only one queen bed in the room. Also because we had the last room available it was a very small room next to the fire escape and stair well, which meant that part of the room's space had been used for that.”

- We had the view of the St. Johns River. It was very beautiful with the lights from the city.
- I was impressed with the cleanliness of my rooms bathroom. I didn't complain, I cleaned it myself.

- The staff was overly friendly and helpful.
- The room was very small and the bed was old and outdated.
“Overall, the hotel was a very nice place. However, the room provided was extremely small and cramped. The queen bed was a memory foam type and was extremely over used. It had a distinct valley in the middle which forced an uncomfortable night of rolling and migration towards the middle of the mattress.”

“The hotel is clean and the facilities are nice but the staff lacked basic customer service skills. My room wasn't ready until about 5pm - check in was at 3pm and had the wrong type of room. Also, we checked our luggage at the bell hop and when we came back four hours later it was still sitting by the front door. There were no apologies.”

- Great location with good restaurants, exercise room, etc.
- Stacy was very sarcastic and made stupid comments when I commented on the problems with my room.

- I was given a room with a great river view.
- The American Grill restaurant was dirty (especially the window blinds).
“The hotel has a great view of the river. The rooms are showing their age and are in need of renovation (at least the room I had). Desk staff were helpful and friendly.”
