“This hotel is conveniently located in downtown JAX. The common areas are relatively attractive but the rooms are a little dated. Let's just say I have not seen a 19 inch tube TV in a while.”

- A/C Worked well.
- Parking - Had a trailer not friendly to trailers or 5th wheels.
“Nice hotel - parking not friendly towards trailers - nor is the adjacent lot - 20.00 per night parking in the garage. Don't travel more than a five blocks away from the hotel. Food average at least in the Bar / restaurant after hours. Menu was not wonderful - not all menu items were available during the stay. Staff friendly and polite courteous.”

- The hotel was extremely attractive and well-decorated.
“This is an impressive hotel as you approach the entrance. There is valet parking, and the lobby is modern and well-appointed. Everything looks new and well-maintained. The furnishings in the bedroom are well done, and the bed is comfortable. The lighting is a little dim however. The bathroom has a large granite counter and tile throughout. For the money this was an excellent value, and we would have liked to spend more time here.”

- Beautiful facilities, top-notch staff, and the room was amazing.
- Self - parking fees! Valet service was nice though.
“Will definitely stay again when in Jacksonville area. Top-notch hotel for the $ paid, but still leaves a lot to be desired for the star rating and class. Staff was wonderful, courteous, and knowledgeable. Valet service was a nice touch because there's always something going at convention center or Jacksonville Landing in which normal $5-$10 self-parking rate get jacked up to $15-$20. Valet service was only $18/night.”

- My every need was taken care of immediately.

“As I expected from the Omni hotel, everything was ready for me from the get go. In less than five minutes my car was taken care of, I had a key in my hand and my luggage arrived at the room. I was able to handle business e-mails and work and still get in enough hours of very restful sleep in. Their beds and pillows have no equal. Most definitely one of my favorite places to stay.”

- The location, very close to the landing.
- Poor planning for big crowds, not prepared with extra roll away beds.
“Overall, the hotel staff was pleasant, the rooms were clean. My concern is that they are not prepared to handle extra occupants on big weekends, such as the Georgia-Florida game. This is an event that takes place every year, there should have been better preparedness on the part of the hotel for extra guests.”

The one thing that I was not impressed with was the parking. The parking deck was across the street and the price for parking was not what I was told by the front desk. There was no attendant at the parking area to ask about the rates.”

“Beautiful well kept lobby inviting with offerings of fresh fruit and water with fruit floating within. Rooms clean, staff treated guests with respect and services provided promptly. Hotel was located directly across the street from The Landing Marketplace and ST John River. Public transportation within the downtown area was close. Wonderful experience. Would definitely visit this hotel again, as well as refer to friends and family.”

- The location and the cleanliness were excellent.
- The front desk staff were very cold, unfriendly and not very helpful. A BIG minus!
“This resort is in a great area. Close to "The Landing" and the river. The hotel and rooms were clean. However, the soap fixture in our room was duct taped to the tile wall. The valet guys were friendly, polite and efficient. The front desk staff however, were NOT. They were cold, unfriendly and not very helpful. Room service staff were grouchy and the food was average at best.”

“Nice upscale hotel and room however I feel that it's terrible for a hotel to charge you to park. Valet would have been $18 a night so I chose the parking garage for $10. Hotel guests were required to park on one of the top 2 floors. Since I checked in at 9:30 pm I was nervous about being alone in the garage and elevator. Bathroom sink and tub didn't drain well which was gross. Lipstick and funky spots were on the water glasses. The manager brought up 4 cold bottles of complimentary Evian which was very nice since the in room Evian was $5 a bottle. Just hope I'd get a better bathroom experience.”

- The bed was very comfortable and they offered free wireless internet.
- The only thing I didn't like is that faucet leaked in the tub and the tub had some hair in it when we arrived.

- I appreciated the extra that my children received, a special activity backpack.
- I did not appreciate not being informed prior that there would be a daily charge for parking.
“The Jacksonville Omni is a gem in the middle of a thriving downtown atmosphere. With a pool on the 4th floor overlooking the city, to being within walking distance to parks, restaurants, theaters and the Scenic St. John's river, the Omni provides both the business and leisure traveler with plenty of reasons not to spend time in their room. Just be sure to remember that as you're walking around beautiful Jacksonville, you are paying a premium to have your car parked.”

- The ironing board was flimsy. Front desk males not wearing a tie.
“Nice rooms, and nice lobby with helpful personnel at the front desk. I noted that none of the males at the front desk were wearing ties. I realize that this is Florida, and things are more casual, but the missing ties looked sloppy and struck me as unprofessional. I don't like wearing ties that much either, but when I am conducting business and want to be seen as a professional, I know I have to wear a tie. I expect Omni's front desk staff to do so as well. Otherwise, this property gets an A.”

- I like the location that was directly across the street from Jacksonville Landing.
- I would have hoped a hotel of this size had a hot tub in the fitness center. I was disappointed it did not.

- Clean and nice bathrooms, friendly staff and GREAT breakfast, much more than the typical continental you would expect.
- The pool heat broke and was closed. I had picked this hotel for the indoor pool in winter and the kids were very disappointed.

- Nice lobby, great location.
- Double beds instead of queens; bad self-parking.
“It's a nice enough hotel and met my expectations. It was dimly lit, from the room to the restaurant to the garage - and everything in between. The valet was not helpful, and self-parking was very difficult. The bathroom is pretty small, but the rooms are a nice size. The beds were decent, and decor was beautiful.”

- The staff was unfriendly, misinformed, not customer oriented.
“Hotel location was great, but the staff was unfriendly and not very capable, my room was cleaned late in the day and I had to change rooms when I extended my stay because after asking three times to have my room cleaned they still did not clean it. I did not use the $14.00 per day self parking ticket and when I went to the front desk to remove the charge off my room the staff became confrontational and refused to remove the charges.”
