• Quiet, luxurious, comfortable.
• Portions of lobby entrance and back were under construction, but it didn't affect us.

“The rooms are extremely nice although they really need new carpeting or at least clean it because there were a ton of stains and large dark spots all over the room. The curtains were cleaned but also had permanent stains on them.”

• I loved the convenience of the hotel to the airport and its different lounges, coffee shop, internet bar and gift shop.
• The old block walls in the guest room.

“The rooms need to have more up to date furniture with sheet rock walls instead of block walls. Needs to be an overall update.”

“If this question is about the Hyatt, Jacksonville, FL , it is fabulous, new, wonderful large rooms, flat screens, microwaves, looks like Pottery Barn decorated and the staff was very helpful to our needs.”

• The staff provided excellent service and they was very friendly.
• Room service ended at 10:00 p.m , smell of chlorine in the lobby from the indoor pool.

“The hotel is located very close to the airport right off I-95 and also close to a shopping center with anything you would need including several restaurants. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• Friendly, great staff, homey, relaxing, great resturant , great cafe and the kids love it. Love the location and the shuttle service.
• I can't. It was great and this was are 3rd time there and we are going back after the holidays.

• Above and beyond staff and restaurant/lounge area.
• The room was not comfortable due to the humidity inside.

“Had it not been for the fantastic staff at this hotel,
I would have checked out the very next morning of my arrival. They swapped my room out three different times to ensure my comfort. Although they tried very hard
I was still very uncomfortable due to the amount of moisture in my room. The restaurant on the other hand was very good and the prices were extremely reasonable. The amenities made this hotel a three star. I wasn't too impressed by the standard rooms.
I do not remember the managers name that assisted me but he was beyond professional as well. I was overwhelmed with the customer service; and for that reason I will stay at the Holiday Inn Jacksonville Airport location again.”

• The waterfall and pool in the lobby was instantly relaxing.

• Staff were very pleasent, distance to the airport.
• Bad king bed, filthy dusty vents in bathroom and AC, musty smell in room.

“The best thing about this property was the friendly desk staff and hotel manager. Also the distance to the airport and the prompt hotel shuttle to the airport and price for parking was good. 3-a day verses airport and local parking lots ranging from 5 to 18/aday (airport valet). I know you get what you pay for so in that respect I can't complain. However, if I were paying more than 45 dollars a night, I would have complained to the management about the filthy vents in the bathroom and the air conditioner, the uncomfortable 25 year old bed, the linen and decor, and the dirty carpet and musty odor in the room. The staff are not in charge of renovations I know. Before I would stay there again I would insist on these issues being improved upon. I would definitely spend more else where if these issues were not fixed. The lobby was nice and the restaurant food was tasty. Nice indoor pool that appeared to be clean from a distance, heavy chlorine smell in the lobby's less room for germs in the pool I guess.”

“This is a great hotel. I live in Jacksonville and I took my daughter to this hotel for her birthday. We booked a room and spent the day playing in the pool and weight room. It has a wonderful restaurant The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful.”

• No complementary breakfast. Chlorine smell in the lobby.

• Restaurant's dishes not clean, room smelled VERY musty. Bugs in room.

“The hotel was not worth it. It first appeared nice, but the room smell and present flying bugs, quickly made our stay less enjoyable. The dishes at the restaurant were not clean (two different eating times).”

“HI at the Jax airport is a cool resort type hotel with indoor pool and other recreational possibilities. The rooms are quiet...we weren't disturbed at all by other guests and guest services. We didn't wake until 9:30 that morning!”

• They had a kiddie pool and I have A 3 year old so she loved it
• Asked for no blanket on my bed because I am highly allergic and they put it on anyway

“I liked it okay however the air conditioner was very hard to adjust. The room was either hot or cold no in between.”

• The customer service I received at the hotel was excellent. I was asked if I had a pleasant trip and if I was ok with my hotel accomadations.
• In the bathroom there was a washcloth with someone else's hair on it.

“For the price I paid I was satisfied. It was convenient to where I needed to be and the customer service was excellent. I also received great customer service by phone from front desk employee "Cindy" who assured me the hotel was safe. That was my major concern being a single female traveling alone and not arriving until 1 o'clock in the morning.”

• Great pools, indoor/outdoor heated, plus outdoor & kiddie pool unheated, clean hotel, friendly staff

“We've stayed at this hotel before, and had a good experience. The rooms in the tower are newer/nicer. The lobby is neat, very tropical and there are many great swimming pools, two heated and two not.However, this past stay there was a cheerleading convention at the hotel, so we got put in the back area of the hotel, in a smoking room. Yuck. ”

• Close to the Airport,but so are 15 other hotels
• No parking.Very unsafe parking situation.

“Hotel needs rennovation. Rooms and carpet dirty. Sheets put on bed inside out. Groute in shower and bath area full of mold and ground in dirt. The parking lot was taken up with Rental cars, no place for paying customers to park. ”

• our room was dirty, the bedspread was damp with urine

“Based on this stay I would not ever stay there again. We have previously stayed there and it was very nice...however this time was a different story. As I already stated the bedspread on the bed was damp with urine, when we pulled back the sheets there was fresh blood on the edge. They claimed that they no more bedding. ”
