- The location to downtown Cleveland.
- Expensive valet parking and thin walls.
“Overall the hotel was good. Pros: location, cleanliness, very friendly and helpful staff. Cons: The walls to the hallway were not very soundproof. Valet parking is $20 a day.”

- Very helpful and pleasant staff.
- Hotel room, hallways, elevator and lobby had dust and debris in the corners - could have been cleaner.
“Great location for Playhouse Square, Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Arena. No parking on site, but valet available at the door, and self park option available down the street. Hotel was newly renovated, but could have been cleaner. Some minor debris in the room and in the hallways. The elegant table in the lobby had fingerprints and streak marks on it - poor first impression. Overall, a good place to stay. Pool and hot tub in the basement is clean and spacious - a toddler play area is also there. Would stay there again.”

- Quiet.
- Mold in the shower. Beverage splatters from a previous occupant remained on the vinyl chair in the room.
“Parking was a challenge. Valet parking was available but not practical for our situation. A nice place to stay for theater folks, otherwise the area was rather isolated.”

- Do not valet park! It is $25 and they park it about 10 minutes away from the hotel!
“The hotel was under renovation when we visited. Our AC made noise which finally got resolved, after a few phone calls. We paid for valet parking and our car was parked very far across the street, which would have been cheaper and easier for us to simply park our own car. The cleaning staff did not clean our room until 5 pm. It was reasonably close to tourist attraction but be prepared to walk a distance.

- We loved everything! Got shuttled to our event.
“This hotel was awesome! My husband and I celebrated our 11th anniversary here and had a wonderful time! We ended up in a suite at no extra charge! We were shuttled to and from the Cleveland/Dallas game and had a blast!”

“The hotel was a real let down. The wallpaper was falling off the walls, the tub was dirty. I stayed for three days and did not receive any maid service. Their was no parking other then $22.oo for valet. A bad experience.”

“Overall a very nice hotel. Location seems a bit out of the way, but you are less than 2 blocks from many restaurants, Tower City Mall, Progressive Field, The Q and The House of Blues. The hotel restaurant/bar closes at 11, so that makes it kind of difficult to grab a nightcap there.”

- You have to park around the corner or valet at $22 per night.
“The hotel was great. It was within walking distance of several restaurants of various cuisine, and we were able to walk to the Quicken Loans Arena. If you are attending a game at Progressive Field, you can easily walk there as well. Things were clean and the room was spacious and contained all that we needed.”

- The location was very good, easy to access the highway, Progressive Field and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
- The hotel was under construction, which started at 8 am daily in the rooms above us.
“The location was very convenient and easy to walk around the downtown area. Unfortunately the hotel was under construction which started daily at 8 am on the floor directly above us. The road that the hotel was also under construction causing all of the nearby business to be closed.”

“Clean, small, intimate hotel in downtown Cleveland, close to theatres, shopping, restaurants and baseball stadium. Area is completely being renovated and when finished will be Central avenue through the city. Only negative was the $22 a night plus tax for valet parking. No other optional choice available.”

- No fridge to put stuff in, we had to use our own cooler.

- The location was ideal for going to a baseball game, and the area was great.
- The worst I have ever experienced.
“Overall, the stay was about a 3 on a 10 scale. There was no Kleenex in the room and no clock! The location was excellent and my opinion of Cleveland was well above what I expected. The hotel staff however was very cordial, and when I expressed my concerns, they actually listened, which impressed me.”

- The ambiance was beautiful, Some minor repairs are needed - they are working on them.
- The majority of the daytime staff was rude, inconsiderate and not very polite.
“The atmosphere of the hotel itself was extremely beautiful. The staff (desk clerk) on our arrival was not very friendly- very few of the staff was to my son and I when we were there. When I was told I did not want/need valet, felt as though I was being looked down upon. Some of the staff was not helpful at all, had been told upon our arrival of complimentary breakfast every morning that we stayed at the hotel- went to breakfast on our first morning and was greeted with, Good morning, welcome-today we are offering the breakfast buffet for $13.95 per person. When asked if we were ready to order, I asked her, 'what about our complimentary breakfast', she said, 'yes, do you have a coupon? I had asked 'what coupon and where do you get it', she referred me to the front desk where she said that they should have given it to me when we checked in (the desk clerk hadn't).”

“The Wyndham is need of serious updating. It is showing signs of age including peeling paint, faded carpet and cracked tiles. The bathrooms are the worst with glazing peeling off the tub and stains all over the floor and counters.”

- The staff was very friendly and our room was big.
- The valet service was rather slow and valet was the only option.
“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! We had a large wrap around room with huge windows! It had more than enough room. I would say the only downfall would be the valet service. Valet is the only option for this hotel and it seemed like they normally only had 1 guy working. It took at least 10 minutes or so for them to go retrieve our car so it got a little irritating by the end of our trip, but the hotel itself is very nice.”

- Road under construction - no one had informed us of this.
“Great proximity to Cleveland's Theatre district, and yet only a few blocks' walk to either Tower Shopping center or Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Courteous staff, very helpful. Too bad the road it is on (Euclid) has been under construction for two years now, with no apparent end in sight (as far as I can tell). Looks like it has seriously affected the business since many storefronts are closed.”

- Great staff, excellent location.
- My chair was missing out of my room, stains on carpet.
“I have stayed at this hotel before and had an excellent stay. I still had an excellent stay this time, but was a bit disappointed when I saw the condition of my room. There were like three different huge stains on my carpet that was not very attractive. The chair was also missing from our room so there was no place for anyone to sit on the bed. The other room that we had, was up to my expectations, we generously gave the nice room to our friends that went on the trip with us. I am sure that if we called the desk they would have corrected the issue, but we were two doors from the other room so we just left it be. The staff is wonderful at this hotel. The location is great. I would stay there again.”

- The lobby and parking attendants were nice.
- The room was dingy and didn't have fitted sheets.
“The staff was nice and helpful, the lobby and elevators were nice but the room was downright awful. The bed didn't have fitted sheets so they came off revealing a disgusting mattress. The bathroom was poorly lit. The decor was that of a midrange or less hotel. I would not stay there again. For the record I am not that picky, I just like clean.”

- Amazing staff; right near ballpark.
- Construction made finding it hard.
“Fantastic staff in a lovely hotel in downtown Cleveland. A five minute walk to the ball park in a soon-to-be updated community (I hope).”

- Friendly & helpful staff.
- No parking, dark hallways.
“Construction makes it a little hard to get to, but not too bad. There is a parking garage across the street from the back of the hotel where you can self park for $9. There is also a little very inexpensive deli across the street from the back of the hotel for a great breakfast. Within walking distance to a few small grills for lunch and dinner. Hotel interior is ok, nothing special.”

- Friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet, expensive though. nice hot tub and pool.
- There were dirty underwear hanging over the shower curtain rod and a dirty rag. gross. Also lots of construction and hard to find parking.
“This hotel was a nice hotel overall. It was hard to find where to park with all the construction and so we finally did the expensive ($22 a night) valet parking. There was dirty underwear and a dirty washcloth hanging in the bathroom. Gross the staff came in and got it out and gave us free buffet breakfast vouchers. So that was nice. Other than the bathroom, room was clean and nice. overall it was a nice hotel.”
