• Location.
• Too old and stuffy. Not enough lighting in the room.

“There was insufficient lighting in the room. Had to move a lamp closer to the mirror. Very dim with stuffy smell on bed linens.”

• Computer in lobby for me to use, hot tub, clean rooms, plenty of towels. Nice furniture in rooms/lobby. I felt safe in the area.
• Nothing really, would have been nice to have a little icebox and microwave.

“It smelled nice. Had everything from 5 star restaurants, to a happening lounge down by pool. It was very busy; everyone seemed to have a nice time there. Even children that stayed there seem to have fun! It even had a nice little tea room in front parking lot of hotel, with great teas! Restaurants and Publix, Retail stores were close. Cypress Garden was literally directly behind us and the hotel will shuttle you for free (save parking cost). Also Cypress Gardens admission on Sundays is $5. So how can you go wrong? I would do it again.”

• Free breakfast and well landscaped larger type of pool for the overall quality level of the motel.
• Room is dirty and very noisy.

“Overall, it was not a bad experience but if you are a light sleeper you can hear outside very easily and I would not recommend it.”

• The staff was very nice, and quick to help in any way.
• No microwave, or fridge in the room.

“The staff is very helpful, the pool, and hot tub area is very nice, and the landscaping is beautiful. The rooms are smallish, and do not have a fridge, or microwave, we stayed a week, and that would have been very helpful, but we were able to use the microwave in the breakfast room, and it is a very nice room.”

• Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, computer access in the business center, shuttle service to the park.
• The door to the room would stick when trying to open or close.

“My overall stay at the hotel was comfortable and pleasant.”

• Great breakfast, nice room for the price!
• One hotel staff member could not even show us where we were on a map!

“This is a nice hotel for the price. It seems safe enough. Bring your own map, the hotel does not have a decent one of the area and one staff member could not even show me where we were on the map they did have. Right next to Cypress Gardens and many restaurants. Convenient location!”

• CLEAN AND FRIENDLY STAFF. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST HAD MORE SELECTIONS THAN ANY OTHERS.
• On site rest. Too expensive for casual visit.

“Older hotel that's well kept and very clean. Staff very friendly and request for extra pillows were delivered in less than 10 minutes.”

• Near Cypress Gardens.
• Mattresses too soft. Elevator too slow.

• Expedient with registration process.
• Little available to eat after 9 pm.

“It is a very quiet place - nice rooms - clean - I was a little disappointed in what was available to me when I returned from work. I leave by 8 and return at 8. Not much food or snack - had to go back out. Staff is very friendly. Alarm clock did not work. Water pressure was limited.”

• It was clean, comfortable, and convenient with a very pleasant accommodating staff.
• There was nothing I did not like.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone with business or pleasure in the winter haven, fl area. It is right next to cypress gardens and since winter haven is not that large it is fairly convenient to everything. This was far superior to the motel 8 or whatever it is on route 17 in winter haven that I booked the last time I was in winter haven. To anyone. It was a dive. Please remove it from your roster.”

• Nice, Clean, and convenient location near food and other points of interest.
• The elevator was a little slow and scary.

“We had a pleasant experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel is located close to many places to eat, and other points of interest in Winter Haven. The hotel had a large swimming pool and a nice courtyard outside to sit and enjoy. I would recommend this hotel to others.”

• roomy, clean, accomodating staff, location
• can be noisy if large groups booked, on highway.

“My friend & I stayed there last year and we are returning with our 3 kids next week. If you are visiting Cypress Gardens, this is the BEST place to stay! If you don't want to drive, you can walk it. The pool & hotel layout is great, the staff is very friendly and there is a mini golf course literally in front of the hotel. Very close to many restaurants. Safe. Highly recommend.”
