• We loved how easy it was to check in and our view from our room!
• The price of the food at the hotel! But hey its a getaway weekend!

“This hotel was awesome. We arrived on Friday and stayed until Sunday for the browns game. When we got there it only took us a few minutes to check in then we got to our room which was amazing we had a view of the browns stadium and of the rock and roll hall of fame. While we were here we asked the office for things to do and where certain places were, they were very helpful and told us everything we asked. We will stay here every year from here on out!”

• Free wireless.
• The parking garage was difficult to get around and the hotel staff I encountered was not friendly.

“There were not enough staff checking people in on this particular busy day, and the staff person checking me in was not friendly. Also,the hotel had my reservation mixed up. They had my first name last and my last name first, so when I gave them my last name it did not show up on their system. I don't know whose fault that was. The parking lot was full and hard to get around in. The room itself was okay. Our room was freezing and there was no way to warm it up. The air was off, but it was still cold. It was just not as nice as other downtown Cleveland hotels I've stayed in.”

• The staff was outstanding.
• The check in process was very slow.

“Overall the hotel was great - the check-in process was very slow. There were a lot of guests checking in and only 2 clerks - this was around 4 PM on June 27.”

• The view and prime location.
• Nothing.

“We stayed at this hotel while going to a Browns Game. The location was perfect, it was no more than a ten minute walk to the stadium. Parking was a breeze, much easier than anticipated. The room was in excellent condition with a breathtaking view. Checking in was very easy, the staff handled tons of people quickly and with ease. Checking out was even simpler with the ability to do it on the TV screen. As a side note the elevators were very quick and very nice. Overall it was an excellent
stay for us. Great hotel! We will be staying there again after such a good first impression.”

“The hotel room was not really clean, that is, the first day of check in there was hair in the tub and floor, the next day the maid did a very good job of cleaning without me asking her to clean.”

• Convenient self-parking, free internet access in room.
• No sound insulation on water system (noisy plumbing).

“The hotel is typical for a business traveler for a short stay. The bed was comfortable although down pillows would have been a nice touch. Free internet access was a plus and the adjacent self-parking garage was convenient. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. I would definitely consider staying there in the future.”

• We enjoyed the location of the hotel to tourist activities.
• One elevator was broken, one elevator shook as it went up and down like the Walt Disney World Tower of Terror, and $18 for parking was expensive.

“We both enjoyed staying at the hotel and being able to walk to the local tourist activities. The staff was friendly and helpful. We both felt safe, other than the time that the cleaning lady opened our door, with both of the deadbolts in place. We would be willing to stay in the hotel again.”

• There was glass on the carpet in our room which we all cut our feet on!

• Parking was not free and we had to take a different elevator from the parking garage. Every time we went to the car, we had to take two elevators.

“Location was excellent. Maids woke us up too early to clean room! Need do not disturb sign for doors. Nice big room but no microwave or fridge, which was disappointing. $18 a day to park, is too much! Because there was an on-site restaurant there was no free continental breakfast.”

• The room had a fantastic view of Lake Erie and the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.
• The front desk was chaotic, there were long lines, slow check in.

“This hotel was located within two blocks of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and other Lake Erie shoreline attractions making it a great location. The food provided by room service was tasty and delivered promptly. Service at the front desk, however, is slow and chaotic with long lines for both checking in and waiting for elevators.”

• I loved the room and the lobby.
• The bed was not comfortable it was masked by the 3 inch pillow top that was added and the toilets flushed very loud.

“I was very pleased with the gift shop being open almost all of the time, even late at night. The room was very nice looking very clean, no shampoo in the bathroom though. The bed was not comfortable. The bathroom toilet was so loud my husband woke my up flushing. You could also hear others in the bathroom. As far as service the maids were very nice and the staff in the lobby was very helpful.”

• Walking distance to sports arenas and Warehouse district.
• There was hair left on the bathroom floor from either the cleaning staff or previous guest.

“Good hotel for upper scale 3 star. Convenient location in between Indians and Cavaliers sport venues, the Warehouse district for dining and drinks. Makes both areas walkable from the hotel. Parking garage was convenient and staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area.”

• I think the parking charge should be waived for Cleveland Clinic patients and families.

“We needed to be close to Cleveland Clinic for five days. The rooms were very nice, clean and quiet. Food was pricey, but excellent.”

• View from the room was awesome. staff was friendly. bed linens were great. toilet paper was soft!
• No swimming pool.

“The hotel was not busy when we were there so it felt like we had the run of the place. The staff was very helpful recommending restaurants and giving directions. The room was very nice with hot showers and soft toilet paper. The view of Lake Erie out of our window was spectacular. It was much nicer then I expected. I would absolutely stay there again if I ever find myself in Cleveland.”

• Our room was huge, but no wall decor; seemed like mismatch of furniture.

• It was very accommodating and upscale. It was also in the perfect location to Downtown Cleveland.
• When we entered the room the trash cans were not emptied.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay in the Cleveland area. It was very nice and exceeded our expectations.”

• The hotel restaurant food was good.
• Housekeeping did not clean the room once and parking was horrible.

“We checked in on a Friday afternoon and the room was nice. We had a king sized bed in a non-smoking room. We checked out on Monday morning. During our stay housekeeping never came and cleaned the room. We complained and they still never showed up. Parking was a mess. We paid for a hotel parking pass and came back twice only to find out the hotel over sold the parking and the garage was full. When we informed them about parking pass, we were told oh well and good luck or we could pay extra for valet. We had to find a spot on our own and when we complained to the hotel, they said they would valet it for free next time the garage was full since we had the pass. When we came back a second time and it was full the parking, person told us what a problem it was. The hotel associate had to inform the other attendant that they needed to park us for free in valet. We went to the hotel bar one night and it was over priced and poor service. The bartender on duty ran through the beer menu so fast you couldn't understand him and when asked for the martini menu he handed it off and said that he couldn't made everything on it because he didn't have supplies for it and walked off. The bright spot to this was the location of the hotel and the restaurant in it. The food there was good and had huge portions. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“Ice machine on 9 broken, vending machine on 10 broken, one bed light broken, fuzzies on all glassware (hope they weren't washed and dried in sink like on 20/20!), TV has no preview channel, restaurant breakfast buffet cold, lobby air broken when we got there, should have requested quiet floor as BB fans were partying loudly until 1pm, show head looked like it was supposed to adjust but didnt. Good: location, price, attractive, clean (with the exception of bedposts, coffee area and lamps - which were all heavily laden with dust), good service, cold beverages in gift shop (since our machine was broken that was handy). I think they need a maintenance / cleaning crew to do an in-depth job in the rooms - they've let it slip a bit.”

• Room was not clean, amenities in poor repair, parking expensive and cramped.

“First impression of hotel is via cramped parking lot, with very narrow access aisles, and small spaces. One must back into the spaces, if one wants to get out of the space easily. Parking is $18 for hotel guests! Room was very dusty, had to wash off coffee maker to pour in water. TV cabinet was dusty, too. Sliding closet door panel was broken, had to step all of the way into the closet to access ironing equipment, then water access cover was missing and water splashed onto clothing I was ironing. The complimentary mouthwash had been visibly used, and seal was broken. For the star-level of this hotel, I was sorely disappointed. I've had cleaner rooms and amenities in good repair at much cheaper hotels. Will not recommend this to my 30 colleagues who come to Cleveland twice a year for meetings.”

• The rooms were updated and clean.
• The Air Condition did not work in the room.

“The customer service was great our fist time at this hotel bask in October. It was pretty good this time also. Unfortunately the air condition/temp control in our room would not adjust to our desired temperature which made the room uncomfortable.”
