• It was nice having a variety of restaurants in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and prompt!

• Service was excellent the entire stay. Hotel was much better than most 4 stars that I stay at.

“Check in was fast and easy.Concierge was very helpful and wonderful to deal with. Room was a little on the small side but very clean, up to date, and bed was comfortable. Parking was a little pricey, valet and self park were $20/night. Excellent food with room service. Best long island ever in bar but $9.25. Within walking distance to all sites downtown. Across from shopping. Some eating close by but most several blocks. One of the better hotels I have stayed in, above it's star rating.”

• Superb location for entertaining and dining, excellent staff.

“A perfect location for sporting events, downtown dining and nightlife, rock and roll hall of fame, science center, etc. The staff was extremely helpful. We stayed two nights, and wish it could have been longer.”

• Staff was fabulous, location excellent, room perfect.
• Have nothing bad to report at all.

“Our room's AC quit one day while we were out and withing minutes we were moved to a different room, without hesitation. I found the staff to be friendly, accommodating and very helpful, from the desk clerk, to the lovely ladies at the convenience center. I would return again in a flash!”

• The room is visually pleasing, which was horribly misleading.
• Our toilet was broken (as well as the hair dryer) and our request to be moved was denied.

“This hotel is misleading because the room is visually pleasing but aside from the comfort of the linens, the customer service policies are unacceptable. Shortly after we arrived, the toilet broke and was overflowing from the back. We had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come fix the toilet and then no one from housekeeping came to clean up the bathroom until later that evening while we were out.”

• It was very nice, clean and spacious.
• The downtown location.

“The hotel was very nice. We loved the flat screen tv in our room. The room was beautiful when we walked in, from the pillows on the bed to the view of lake erie from the window.”

• Only one issue - delayed valet service.

• Great location and a newly renovated room.
• HDTV in room, but no HD service. Hotel staff knocked on room at 8 am to ask when we were leaving.

“This is a wonderful property right on Public Square. It is a short walk to Tower City and to the Warehouse District. Also walking distance to the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Science Center. Very pleased with the hotel and the great price.”

“The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff was very helpful and nice. We had a problem with the AC in our room and called the front desk. Someone was there in a matter of minutes to correct the problem. Loved the hotel and the location.”

• The restaurant was just ok and not up to the star quality.

“I wish the bell staff would have told us that we had to pay every time we left the parking garage. It cost us twice as much for parking because they did not tell us this. We ate brunch at the restaurant which was nothing special. The room was great though and the view was spectacular. They put us on the 23rd floor with a view of public square. The bed was amazing!”

“My wake up call came in 23 minutes late and resulted in me being late for an important business meet. When the operator was asked for an explanation, she said she had been "too busy" with other guests to place the call on time, noting that she was occupied calling 3 other guests repeatedly to wake them up. She was totally unconcerned about my angst and did not offer an apology.”

“Had a great stay on the 19th floor in a corner room. We could see the Rock-n-roll hall of fame, the lake and the city all at once. Not to mention the staff was fun and made the trip enjoyable.”

• Everything! The room and location were awesome.
• Others may consider rooms small, but we were happy.

“This hotel surpassed our expectations. We had a corner room with a beautiful view. Staff was very nice. We were able to walk to Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame and to Quicken Loans arena for a concert, only paying for parking at the hotel. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant, not to unreasonably priced.”

• Pool was only 3 feet deep end to end. Double room was a little small.

“The main lobby was beautifully welcoming, desk staff very pleasant. We requested a double room and it was very clean and wonderfully updated/modern, but it was a bit on the small side - just a little cramped. I liked the sink situated outside of the toilet/shower area. The air conditioning unit was quiet and did not wake me as some hotel units do. We were on the 14th floor - with very nice views in every direction. We requested an air mattress and it was free of charge. Parking is $20. The indoor pool was only 3 feet deep from end-to-end. Overall - very nice experience. The hotel was well located in the city. I would stay at this hotel again.”

• The convenient downtown location was great and flat screen TV was a nice touch.
• TV wouldn't change channels and they had to bring up a new remote as soon as we got in the room.

“Other than the TV not working at the beginning of the trip the rest of the night was great. Workout facilities were state of the art and it had a pool and hot tub. Bed was comfortable, view was great and flat screen was a nice touch.”

• It was a very nice hotel and conveniently located to our intended destinations.
• The cost for parking was a little high.

“The room was very nice and was clean. The bed was the most comfortable we've had, in any hotel. The desk staff was friendly and answered our questions about places to walk to for dinner. We happened to get a corner room so we had nice views in 2 directions. Overall, a good experience.”

• Central location to the places we visited.
• Being mislead on parking cost, the broken door, broken hair dryer, broken drain in sink.

“The hotel was very clean and located in a central location. Easy to get in and out of. The self parking lot was hard to fine but it was easy to enter and exit. We were told that self parking was $6 while valet was $20. Each day we were charged the $6 rate until one day we left after 10 AM and we were charge $20. This was not explained to us. The room was very clean. But a door on the furniture was hanging on one hinge. The hair dryer was only working on the slowest speed. The drain stop was broken so we had to stack the water glasses over the drain to hold water to shave.”
