• Easy walking distance to the airport so good for a quick layover
• The food service at the pool ends too early (5.30pm)

“We like this hotel because it is a short walk from the Key West airport. The staff are efficient and polite. The rooms are clean and have all the amentities one requires during a quick stopover.”

• We were happy with location and staff.
• Would not recommend for family's.

“We were very happy with our stay and would come back. One recommendation would be to have no children there but otherwise we had a great time. Housekeeping and front desk people were amazing!”

• Loved the room we upgraded to hate how much more we had to pay.
• Didn't like having to pay so much more.

“Loved the second room. The pool area was beautiful with a great little tiki bar. We were right across the street from the beach which was beautiful. In the upgraded room we had a beautiful view of the ocean.”

• Continental breakfast was awesome. Poolside bar was awesome as well.

“We were very pleased with this hotel, thought since it was off the beaten path, it wouldn't be all that special, but we will definitely stay there again! The employees were extremely helpful - arranged rental of a scooter and then arranged for us to keep it an extra day.”

• Lovely pool and bar/restaurant handy.
• Local airport directly behind hotel; planes fly right over ¿ loudly.

“Beautiful pool area; rooms clean and well kept; staff pleasant for the most part. Nice beach area 1 to 2 miles away. Heavy construction on road in front of hotel made access difficult and was a bit noisy. The largest problem for me was the airport directly behind the hotel, with planes taking off and landing right over the room.”

• Easy access. Close to airport.
• Close to airport, noise slightly bothersome.

“Nice place to stay, nice pool, across the street from coastline. Minimal free continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Free wife. Nice screened in 'porch' overlooking pool. Would definitely return.”

• New and recently remodeled rooms are very nice.
• Older rooms into which we were booked were nasty.

“Under renovation, be sure to get a new room. Pool bar was very expensive. On the opposite side of Key from attractions and town, expect $20. one way cab fares.”

• Nice ocean view.
• Most of the staff did not speak English. Hard to communicate needs.

“I felt that this hotel was not worth $223.00 per night. Most of the staff did not speak English. When I asked any questions of the staff they could not help. The only ones you could talk to were at the front desk. Also very disappointed that the pool was only open until 8:00 pm. We checked with other hotels and found most of them were open until at least 11:00 pm. Some were open 24 hours. Soda machines would only take exact change no dollar bills.”

• The hotel was clean and big - beds and pillows were VERY comfortable. Slept like a baby!
• The hotel has not been updated for a long time, if ever. It was pricey, but what is not in Key West!

“The hotel has not been updated for a long time, if ever. However, it was clean, and the room was very large - lots of space for 4 people to a room. The beds/pillows were very comfortable, and everything in the room worked (heat/lights/hot water). There was a continental breakfast in the a.m., which is a nice touch (juice, donuts, toast/English muffins, fruit, cereals, coffee, milk).”

• We had a beautiful ocean-view room.
• We stayed in an older part of the hotel that could have been nicer.

“The hotel was located in short driving distance from Mallory Square and good restaurants. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the ocean and was just perfect for our morning coffee. We would definitely stay here again.”
