• Great breakfast included with room. Great Staff!
• Ants in room. Sprayed and still there.

“This a good hotel for the price in an area close to the tourist attractions of Key West. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great and included with hotel room price. Pool was clean. Room had ants but otherwise was clean. Would stay again.”

• It was cheap, well kept and well staffed.
• The internet doesn't work all the time.

“This hotel met the needs for me and my party, which was a comfortable accommodation. The front desk was always helpful. The breakfast was very good and we could make our own waffles.”

• Convenient location, friendly staff,
  and fairly clean.
• Not much, was about what I expected. Pricey, but reasonable for Key West.

“This hotel was okay for what it was about what I expected. Breakfast was nice, and the location was pretty good. The rooms were actually cleaner overall than I expected, but there were some mosquitoes that managed to get in (maybe because we were on the first floor).”

• I like the location of the hotel because it is close to downtown.

“The hotel needs to update their rooms. It was very old and not that accommodating. It did not have a small refrigerator so we could put cool drinks and sandwiches. It only has one way to get to the room which was in the back of the building not the front. I was very disappointed.”

• The courtyard dining area was quaint and pretty.
• The outdoor courtyard dining area had boxes setting around that needed to be removed and old plants that needed to be thrown out or repotted.

“It was rather drab and overpriced. The man in the lobby was polite but not friendly. You could see the ocean from our door entering the room. That was nice.”

• It's a $20 cab ride Downtown each way.

“Great hotel for the money. The front desk staff and concierge were friendly and helpful. Be prepared to pay $20 each way for a cab ride Downtown.”

• Cheap and did not have a 2 night minimum.
• Rooster who apparently lives in the pool area woke up my girlfriend.

“It was among the cheapest in Key West. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and pretty big. Upgraded us to a king without a charge (the original booking was more for a king). Felt safe, but not the nicest hotel. It is a place to crash but I would not suggest staying there if you are planning to spend a lot of time at the hotel.”

• Loved the pool area.
• Did not like the hand held shower.

“Beautiful pool area with palm trees and vegetation. The bathrooms are in need of updating. Staff was helpful and gave us directions to everything we needed. Location was good, couple miles from down town Key West. Overall we slept well and were comfortable.”

“Room had not been vacuumed thoroughly in at least 6 months. Tub would not drain and it had old cigarette burns in what was supposed to be a non smoking room. Very strange stains on chairs, lighting, bedding. Lines on bed had washed in stains as well.”

• They helped us with information on things to do.
• They were far from everything but the airport.

“For the price it is on of the best places to stay on key west. But to get to anywhere to do something you would have to cab it or rent a scooter or electric car. There was a rental place just a few doors down.”

• The temperature of the pool.
• Broken window, broken hair dryer, stuff seemed old.

“Hotel was overpriced for quality and location to downtown Key West, but price was probably appropriately graded considering the high price of others in area. The pool was old, and a hot tub would have been nice, but it was the warmest outdoor hotel pool I have ever swum in and I would come back just for that reason. Staff was very nice.”

“On average the hotel was more than average in terms of listening to the travelers needs. My meeting was at the Westin and they just added to my satisfaction of staying at Comfort Inn.”

• We liked the location to the scenic trolley that we used during our stay. It stopped us from using our car and looking for places to park.
• The exterior of the hotel and grounds could be upgraded and somewhat cleaner.

“The appearance from the front and inside looked good, the outside parking area could use some cleaning and updating. The overall experience was okay for the price of the room.”

• The accommodations were good. Access to maps. The air conditioning was great! Iron, great convenience.
• Housekeeping came by too early in the morning. The bathroom could have been bigger.

“For a weekend stay the accommodations were very good. The beds and pillows were comfortable and you don't find that in all hotels. The only things I would've changed are more cable channels, a TV with a DVD player, and larger bathrooms.”

• I was there for a big bike rally so the rates were outrageous but expected. I would stay there again in the off season.
• Wasn't there long enough to know.

• Great location, Fast service
• One Rep was very rude, others were great

“Wonderful location, most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ran into one Rep that was very rude but we were quickly taken care of by another. Pool was a little warm and the bathroom had a musty smell, however they quickly worked on request to cool down pool. Overall I was very satisfied for the price and service we recieved.”

• The location was good. Just out of town.
• Continental Breakfast was mostly fattening foods i.e. donuts, muffins, waffles

“It was a clean nice hotel. Haven't stayed in a two star hotel in a while. Prefer 4 or 5 star. The help didn't speak English or very little.”

• not much, would not stay there again
• dirty, smelled, run down

“this location is old and run down. The first room we were sent to smelled really bad. Covered up urine smell, the second room was better but still smelled. Low water pressure in shower. I was charged for the room safe even though I did not use it. I will not stay at this location again and I am questioning the rating of this hotel.”

• The first desk clerk I spoke to had no idea how anything worked concerning reservations.

• the first room was very wet and mildew smell very bad

“the hotel was located in a great spot but the traffic is extremely bad. the hotel itself was newly remodeled They took care of our problem as soon as it was brought to there attention. I would stay they again.”

“The staff at the hotel was excellent! We arrived at 8am, and they allowed us to check in early, even though check in is not till 3 or 4pm. Everyone was very helpful and the hotel was one of the cleanest I've been to in a while.”

“This hotel is a great two star, situated on the North East corner of the island. Great access to tourist shuttle, and only a five minute drive from Duval Street. Free 800 number access and the pool can be accessed at next door partner Radisson, but the Comfort Inn had everything I needed.”
