• The room was spacious and clean.

• This hotel was just recently renovated and done beautifully.
• Cleaning staff a disappointment.

“The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It has been through a top to bottom makeover. The staff was wonderful. When my room failed to be serviced one day they bent over back wards to correct their error, even paying for my in-room movie that night. I
would highly recommend this hotel to every and any one.”

• convenient location near expressway, gas station, and food; love the Bath & Body Works lotion & shampoo
• small rooms, soft bed and pillows, poor soundproofing

“Overall it was ok. The room was the smallest I've ever stayed. The bed was short. I realize the space is not soundproof, but I've also never stayed at a hotel where I heard so much noise from others coming and going (and they were not making noise that would be out of the ordinary).”

• Exceed my expectations. The staff was superior to any hotel that I have stayed at.

“The Marriot at the Cleveland Airport had great rooms and public spaces. Unfortunately, the hotel was under renovation. There was some noise on the floor above us on Saturday morning (around 8 in the morning). It sounded like someone was bowling! This should have been disclosed, but was not much of an inconvenience overall. The area around the hotel was not the best. There was a Denny's restaurant right next door, and the hotel bar/restaurant was good. Overall, I'd recommend the hotel to someone staying near Cleveland Airport or Lakewood.”

• The room was great and very quiet.
• They were doing construction work so it was a bit confusing how to get places in the hotel.

“Over all my time spent here was enjoyable. I travel a lot and they were very accomodating when I asked for a quiet room. The food was great and most of all my bed was comfortable.”

• Premium hotel for the price of a budget motel.
• I didn't like the $5 parking charge, but they had a security officer in the parking lot.

“This hotel had everything you would expect of a Marriot. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly.”

• Everyone who worked at the Marriott were extremely friendly and helpful.
• Nothing.

“I was told the Marriott had a shuttle to and from the airport however when we arrived after midnight the shuttle was no longer in service. The front desk told us to take a cab and when we arrived at the hotel they would pay the cab ride and they did. Great service.”

• The location, it was clean, very nice.
• They charge for internet access.

“This is a nice hotel. It's clean, close to the airport, the rooms are comfortable. It's everything that one would expect of the 3 star establishment. Like many airport area hotels, the dining choices are lacking. But that's not the hotel's fault. My only complaint is that the hotel charges $9.95 a day for internet service. In this day and age, that's crazy. A hotel that caters to business people should provide free internet just like they provide free hot water. To the hotel's credit when I called the desk and complained about the internet charge they did credit my account. Bottom line, this was a nice hotel, I'll be staying again.”

• The staff was very attentive and friendly.
• The room we stayed in was next to an elevator that created a very loud noise that sounded like construction drilling and it woke us or disturbed us.

• Lobby was nicely appointed and bed was comfy.
• Poor location - lack of amenities near by - largely under construction, small/cramped rooms.

“Half of the hotel was shut down for construction the room was small and cramped and the TV was set so low that you had to sit up straight in bed to see it. It was in a semi-seedy part of town with only a couple of restaurants nearby and those were mostly diner/greasy-spoons. Based on the star rating and brand, I expected better.”

• Great service from the staff.
• Under major renovations, rooms were very worn.

“I wanted this hotel as an airport location prior to catching a flight out of CLE the next morning. It is 7 minutes from Cleveland Airport and has shuttle service. The hotel is undergoing major renovations in the main tower, which is closed and that wasn't noted on line. The older section used for guests was quite worn out, rooms were very tired and all you could see were construction materials for the ongoing renovation. If you are a Marriott Rewards member, they provide a temporary Concierge lounge, offering very limited and food items which were mediocre and service is not as friendly as expected.”

• They are still remodeling certain parts of the hotel.

• The prices in the gift shop were ridiculous!

“Overall it was a nice place to stay. The beds were pillow top and would have been even nicer if they were at least Queen and not double. The facilities are beautiful and will be even nicer after their upgrade. The indoor pool is quite large and very clean. The fitness room is large with very nice high end equipment. The only complaint is the prices in the gift shop were ridiculously high. Other than that I would stay again.”

“This hotel was perfect for our stay. We wanted to save money by staying just outside the city. Our hotel was just down the road from the train into the city which made it perfect to get downtown without having to pay for parking and deal with traffic. The entire staff was very helpful from giving us directions to bringing us the toothpaste I forgot to pack! Based on its quality, location and price, I'd love to stay there again!”
