“Upscale experience. In room wireless is extra. Restaurant expensive, and slow to respond.” Dec 17, 2007 by
Ken from Turtle Lake, WI
“Easy shuttle to/from airport. Easy check-in, friendly and helpful staff. Room was very comfortable. Upgraded bedding gave a wonderful night's sleep to this exhausted traveler. However, there were a couple of broken things in the bathroom (no tub plug, shower curtain rod coming apart). Didn't eat dinner at the hotel, did eat breakfast buffet. Typical high price with less than expected to offer.” Dec 3, 2007 by
Jim from Shelby, OH
“I would definitely stay here again!” Nov 15, 2007 by
Walt from St. Simons Island, GA
“Would stay again.” Nov 14, 2007 by
Michelle from West Seneca, NY
“I would certainly recommend, for the most part the hotel was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The curtain in our room looked like it had vomit on it and could have easily been replaced. The rug also had a few spot (gum). I would stay here again hands down. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.” Nov 8, 2007 by
Damon from Cleveland Heights, OH
“Overall the stay was pleasant and relaxing.” Oct 17, 2007 by
Patti from Germantown, MD
“I was pleasantly surprised to have a Marriott. The courtyard that my room overlooked was lovely and the staff was very friendly. The shuttle bus operator saved me lots of time and energy by driving me right to the rental car lot instead of to the airport like I requested. He inquired about my plans and as a result I was in my rental car and on my way in minutes.” Oct 17, 2007 by
Kathie E. from Columbus, OH
“One of the best staff's I have encountered. I highly recommend the restaurant the food was great and for in room dining the home made pizza cannot be beat.” Oct 14, 2007 by
Charlene from Schoolcraft, MI
“Good value - good location.” Oct 12, 2007 by
Sheronda from Columbus, OH
“The staff was very helpful.” Oct 9, 2007 by
Don B. from Zeeland, MI
“This hotel is right off the expressway. Near the airport and noise is not a problem. Clean and comfortable, I would stay here again. Very nice hotel.” Oct 8, 2007 by
Deborah from Chicago, IL
“The lobby area is beautiful but the rest of the property (at least the section I stayed in) was a bit older and looked a little run down. The bed was new and comfortable but the other furnishings and the carpet were definitely older.” Oct 7, 2007 by
John from Muldraugh, KY
“The hotel had nice rooms & beds but the bath tub had lots of hair were it had not been cleaned very well. Also the restaurant had terrible service and we had to leave because we never got any service.” Oct 4, 2007 by
Brad from Mount Vernon, OH
“Nice hotel, great room, great staff.” Oct 4, 2007 by
Linda from Port Charlotte, FL
“I have stayed there before and it is still very nice and comfortable. Would stay there again. Staff helpful and friendly.” Oct 4, 2007 by
Tonia from Scottsdale, AZ
“I needed aspirin in the middle of the night. The concierge had no problem calling security to let me into the gift shop to get the aspirin. The hotel was secure, except for the parking. It is beautiful inside, and has been renovated recently since I saw it 5 years ago. It was right next to the highway, close to all major attractions, and they had a printout of all the local places and how to get there. For the price I paid, it was worth every dime. And the beds were amazing!” Sep 25, 2007 by
Kris from Urbana, OH
“My wife and I stayed here overnight, if we had known there was a indoor pool and hot tub, we would have planned for that but either way the bed was very comfortable and while we did not eat at the on site restaurant there was a Denny's right next door where we ate dinner and breakfast the next morning. I have no complaints about this hotel. We'll be coming to Cleveland again next month and I plan to stay here again.” Sep 24, 2007 by
Andrea from San Antonio, TX
“Nice place with friendly staff. Shuttle service to the RTS, airport, etc. Room was clean, comfortable and good quality. We would definitely stay here again.” Sep 17, 2007 by
Tg from Dublin, OH
“An aging, fading Marriott.” Sep 12, 2007 by
Nathalie from Clearlake Park, CA
“Great and convenient location, shuttle to airport/rapid train! Denny's conveniently next door. Beautiful lobby. Friendliest people including the designated taxi driver. Best customer service Ive had in a long time. Would totally recommend!” Sep 9, 2007 by
Ray from South Point, OH
“The hotel is a little out of the way from where we wanted to be, but the staff was courteous and the rooms/beds were great for sleeping which is what we wanted it for. Lots of pillows and bead was padded, extra covers on it. The hotel had an indoor pool and Jacuzzi. We used them once and were fine and clean, towels provided. A few things I was disappointed in were the whole hotel a flat out uncomfortable temperature. It was about 90 outside, about 80-85 inside and stuffy. The air conditioner in the room didn't help much. When the lights were off and blackout curtains pulled, you could see daylight coming in for about an inch under the AC where was not insulated well. I was happy that the hotel had Wi-Fi where I could use my laptop until I discovered that was $10 a day to use what even cheap hotels give you for free. And was such a slow connection that I longed for dial-up. There was not even continental breakfast provided. If you wanted breakfast at the hotel expect to shell out some money. We ate out. All in all, would probably stay again if wanted a good place to get a good night's sleep.” Sep 6, 2007 by
Gisela from Hoffman Estates, IL
“Great except for the Wi-Fi.” Sep 6, 2007 by
Gigi from Kissimmee, FL
“The room was clean and the bedding was good. It is a great hotel for business people. With so many hotels now offering free internet service, I was surprised that you have to become a Marriott rewards member to get it for free which I did. Overall a good hotel just not too romantic or family friendly. Can't beat the price I got for a hotel in this star rating.” Sep 6, 2007 by
Mia from Chicago, IL
“Great looking hotel convenient to airport. Stayed over the weekend and there was heavy duty partying all night, very noisy and not enough security to keep it under control. Drunken people in parking lot when I arrived back late Saturday, no parking places near hotel. Cigarette butts and trash outside party rooms on Sunday morning. Staff apologetic, but there needs to be more, or more effective, security for this property to be highly recommended. Also, on-site restaurant priced for the expense account - not an attractive alternative when traveling with hungry teens. Perhaps things are calmer during the week, but if not this is not a good place for a business traveler.” Sep 3, 2007 by
Charles from Germantown, TN
“Great value and best bang for the travel dollar.” Aug 29, 2007 by
Carl from Cincinnati, OH
“A good hotel for business or leisure and had a nice pool and exercise equipment. The restaurant looked attractive, even though we did not eat there.” Aug 26, 2007 by
Mary from Liberty Township, OH
“Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the bed linens were great. The downside is $5 a day parking and an older, worn room decor. It's very close to where I needed to be, so probably will stay again.” Aug 22, 2007 by
Toni from Indianapolis, IN
“The room was nice. Good shower in the bathroom. The TV channels were mostly sports channels. The lobby was a long way from my room & the elevator was rather shabby.” Aug 17, 2007 by
Kay from Franklin, WI
“This hotel was convenient to airport, malls and restaurants. It offers a restaurant, very nice pool, hot tub and work out room. The front desk staff is very helpful and provides awesome directions to anyplace you need to go. The rooms are attractive and smell very fresh; however, the bathroom was small, and the toilet flushed way too long. The bath amenities from bath & body works were a nice touch. The room needs a refrigerator and microwave to be complete. The housekeeping staff is so loud in the am - yelling at each other in the hallway and knocking at your door at 8 am (where are the door tags when you need them).” Aug 15, 2007 by
Dr J. from Little Rock, AR
“Excellent overall facility.” Aug 14, 2007 by
Claudia from Penfield, NY
“The room was big, great bed, and coverings. Nice bathroom. Quiet. Had a little shuttle that ran us over to the subway. Great place, I'd recommend it and come back.” Aug 14, 2007 by
Eric from St.Louis, MO
“I really like this hotel the past few times I stayed there. So this is for sure a one time incident. But the front desk and managers were not very concern with my unpleasant stay. Apparently the internet access is free. I was under the impression I was charged $9.95 a day. The assistant manager said there was nothing she could do. You see I drop my cell phone, and I had no access except for a broke phone in my room and the internet. The phone calls were an average of $7 a call. I checked out a day earlier I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to swim laps to relieve the stress and the chlorine level was so bad after 2 laps, my eyes were totally red. All the tips and extra cost I could have taken a trip to the Bahamas for three days.” Aug 1, 2007 by
Jeff from Maplewood, MN
“This motel was very clean and attractive. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The front desk could use more staff and the communication system between the customers; front desk and shuttle need work.” Jul 30, 2007 by
James from Grove City, OH
“Very good location but the hotel is awkwardly built. The staff did not ask what type of room I wanted. Our room was very uncomfortable, the beds were small and it was not a good night's sleep. The shower did not drain well so we showered in dirty water at the base of the tub.” Jul 30, 2007 by
Karen from Granger, IN
“The lobby was very attractive and the hotel staff was friendly. Room needed an update and the bathroom was small. I was told at the parking booth that guests didn't pay for parking but then was charged a parking fee for my stay. The hotel is convenient to the airport and downtown.” Jul 25, 2007 by
Catie from Marietta, OH
“The hotel was good. The room was very comfortable although we would have liked the option to select a room with a king sized bed instead of two doubles. The only complaint I have is that the window was leaking and the carpet around it got very damp - it was still wet although it had not rained in a few days. Our room began to smell a bit musty which we told the hotel representative when we checked out. The room service was great - excellent for a great price and it arrived just the way we wanted and when we wanted.” Jul 24, 2007 by
Joe from Lockport, NY
“This is a typically beautiful Marriott, located conveniently near the airport (at the intersection of 150th Street and Rt.71) and shopping. Good parking, easy access to and from the expressway. No free internet connection, optional "in-room" internet connection was available, but costly at over $9.00 per day.” Jul 11, 2007 by
Christopher from Mokena, IL
“Nice hotel lobby. Slightly dated building, standpipes in the back entry, laundry facility seen from room area. Staff must be very attentive to guests needs. I checked in at around 11:30pm, I was given the wrong room number with the key card; I specifically asked for a king and was given 2 full beds. The hotel rectified all this but took 45 min. to check into the proper room, it being so late in the day, was not an acceptable situation.” Jul 11, 2007 by
R. from Lakewood, OH
“I thought my key wasn't activated. A staff member was immediately sent up with a new key only to find that I had been placing it in wrong. He was great about it, but I felt like an idiot. When my friend met me, he did the same thing. Each key should have an arrow to indicate which side and direction to insert it. Other than that, I had an incredible experience!” Jul 9, 2007 by
Carrie from Omaha, NE
“I was very disappointed. The room was small, and rather dingy. The beds were hard as a rock. We were charged $5 to park in the hotel lot, which was attended by a "security guard" who did not even look up at us when we drove in.” Jul 4, 2007 by
Marie from Chardon, OH
“Wonderful accommodations, convenient for my trip to the airport at an early hour. The airport shuttle delivered my husband to the hotel very quickly during the middle of the night, saving me a trip. Great!!” Jul 1, 2007 by
Betty from Hudson Falls, NY
“Nice place, good service.” Jun 13, 2007 by
Brian from Valparaiso, IN
“Very nice and easy to find. Parking was free and was a surface lot that made it easy to park, unload and get to your room quickly. The facilities look very inviting although we did not have time during this trip to use them. The room was quiet and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel. We both enjoyed it very much.” Jun 12, 2007 by
Linda from Rochester, IN
“We had a wonderful time at an amazing hotel. Can't complain about anything.” Jun 6, 2007 by
Alvin from Mishawaka, IN
“This hotel is passable as a 2.5 star but certainly not a 3 or 4 star. My wife and I just needed a place to stay overnight at the last minute, so it was fine. I would not recommend it for a longer stay. On the contrary, we would have probably been better off saving 50 bucks and staying at the Hampton inn.” Jun 4, 2007 by
Pat from Little Neck, NY
“This hotel was great and very convenient to the city and to route 80! I will definitely return!” Jun 3, 2007 by
Connie from Parkersburg, WV
“Very clean, rooms were very nice, front desk person was wonderful and friendly.” May 30, 2007 by
Jeanne from Depew, NY
“We loved our stay. The bed was awesome. Slept right through the night. Only complaint I have is being charged to park. We had to pay $5.00 per day. Other than that, I have no complaints.” May 30, 2007 by
Edythe from Millersburg, OH
“The Cleveland Airport Marriott is conveniently located to all Cleveland neighborhoods and attractions. Its rooms are clean, modernized, and attractive. Its staff is courteous, helpful, accommodating and friendly. Most importantly, the beds and bedding are exquisitely comfortable and attractive. I highly recommend this hotel. ” May 24, 2007 by
Ann from St. Louis, MO
“I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was friendly, helpful and went out of there way to answer questions. They gave me a very good set of driving instruction on how to get just about everywhere which came in real handy. The gift shop was great had just enough essentials to cover you in case you forget something. The room was clean and pleasantly decorated in neutral tones. The pool and exercise areas look clean and well maintained even though I didn't get a chance to use them. Overall I was very happy with the hotel and would stay there again is I ever make it back to Cleveland. It's a good place for the business, vacation or wondering traveler.” Hotel Representatives:
