“The hotel is located right in the busiest part of the city. Easy access to all. The rooms are big and the beds are comfy! The pool is great too and so are the poolside drinks!”

• The location of the hotel is within walking distance to everything on that side of the island.
• The beach area was very small.

“My husband and I were very pleased with the Hyatt Key West resort. We had a beautiful view from our room. The location was great because we could walk where we wanted to go. It is way to crowded on the streets to drive. On our last day at Key West we did drive to the other side of the island to check it out, but decided our side was better. In fact we met several couples who were staying on the other side and wished they were where we were staying. We had a wonderful time and it is definately on our go-again list. We will stay a the Hyatt again.”

• The location was very convenient and the views from the balconies were great.
• The beach area and pool were too small.

“Overall, the hotel was very clean and nice and the service was good. Anytime we needed anything in the room, it was brought up very promptly. It is very family oriented with many kids around. The location is perfect: on the water a block from Duval. And the sunsets over the water were great from the beach area or the room balcony.However, despite being on the water, the beach area is very small and the pool is very small as well (hard to get away from the many splashing, screaming kids). Also, we ran the A/C full blast the whole time we were there and it never got cool.”

• The hotel provided all of the water activities, which include waverunning, snorcoling, deep sea fishing, boating- right in it's back yard.
• The hotel is a hotel not a resort. The swimming pool is small and only has a depth of 3 ft 9 inch. It is not as luxurios as most Hyatts I have been to.

“Not impressed. It is in a good location with a wide variety of activities on it's facilities. I would not go back there.”

• Nicola Restaurant was excellent
• The room was noisy and over a parking lot. It was barely cooled by a noisy air cooler.

“We heard many guests complaining about their rooms when we checked in. Our room was a disappointment but we didn't request a change. The hotel is undergoing needed renovations--or so we heard.”

• Terrific location and fabulous sunset views.
• Some of the hotel staff appear to require remedial training in effective customer service.

“Ideal location - 60 seconds walk from all the action on Duval Street, but located on a quiet side street so you can sleep peacefully when you're ready. Very friendly and accommodating hotel staff. Excellent value/.”

“This was the best priced hotel we ever got! For a quater of their advertised price we stayed two nights over spring break. You don't even need to fight the crowds at Mallory Square to see the sunset. Can't wait to go back!”

“Good old town location, close to Mallory Square, Duval, shopping and dining. Room was neat, clean with nice quality furnishings. Most rooms have water view. Pool and beach area are small for the size of the hotel but water activites are available on site.Open air bar and restuarant are on site but I would recommend using them for convenience only due to the other options available for the same price or better.”

• Location, great staff, room with a balcony and great view of the harbor, seafood at Nicola & Scuttles, pool, terrific value.
• That I only stayed 1 night. Can't wait to go back and hope to win the Hyatt again

“The Hyatt Key West is very different structually from the typical Hyatt. It is a low rise structure consisting of 4 buildings. This works great in the beach / Key West setting. Our room had a large balcony that overlooked the harbor and the pool. The pool was the perfect size for a resort of this size. The whole place is just beautiful and perfectly located in Old Town near all the fun and activity of Duval Street. ”

• The location is a dream. It is right on the water. Picture perfect!!!
• The pool was not heated.

“The Hyatt is a first class hotel resort. Staff is professional and helpful. They provided huge umbrellas for us as it rained the first night. At the pool they were always ready to get you anything you needed. The rooms were like suites with little balconies overlooking ponds , pool, or ocean. Just lovely!”

• The room was beautiful and the hotel informed us of the many excursions on the island.
• We arrived before 7 pm and a lot of the staff had gone home by then, more specifically the concierge.

• It was conveniently located to all the attractions and the outside atmosphere was beautiful.
• Overpriced- we were overcharged for room service

“ The springs in the bed were poking at us all night, there was no water pressure, the room was barely clean and we were charged for two meals and an appetizer via room service that we never ordered. Upon trying to get this issue resolved at check out we waited approximately 30 minutes and I am still not certain it was resolved. I will checking our credit card statement very closely. As this was to be the honeymoon we never had 13 years ago, we were extremely disappointed.”

• excellent location. beautiful gardens with ponds
• The room was extremely small and was tucked away with no view of the water. From the balcony you could only see the turtle pond by the lobby.

“The hotel is beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable even though extremely small. The location was ideal, within walking distance to Duval Street as well as the waterfront stores and activities.”

“Although within walking distance of the heart of Key West, this resort feels private and remote. Rooms are nicely decorated with comfortable pillow-top mattresses and all the amenities. • It was close to everything and up to the usual Hyatt Standards.
• Tiny pool and very tiny spa.

“We have stayed many times with Hyatt hotels. This hotel was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The turtle pond was especially cool. It's within walking distance to everyting in Key West, but off of chaotic Duval St. The pool is small and there is no beach, however this was not the main reason for us to be in Key West. If these are important hotel ammenities, look elsewhere. All in all, it was a great experience. We would stay here again.”

“Resort is nestled in a beautiful setting on the water's edge, our small balcony looked out over the koi and turtle pond.
The room was spacious and well appointed. Large bathroom. Safe was provided.
It was within walking distance of everything, if you like to walk!”

• It was perfect! It was quiet, yet not far at all from all the action on Duval Street. Relaxing beautiful surroundings.
• Cannot think of anything...... the bar closed at 9 pm. We wished it stayed open longer.

• The beds in the hotel were very comfortable and the room was clean. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of all your needs.
• Check in time is set to late- 4 pm.

“The hotel had lots of outdoor occomadations including a pool with lounge chairs that included cushions and a pier that extended out to the water. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and included a small private balcony. Guest parking for the hotel was very reasonable $8 and you could still remain parked even if you had already checked out. Overall a very good experience.”
