“Good as only hotel in the area with a shuttle to the airport. Well set up for visitors to the revival. Restaurant average but over priced. Lobby nice, clean but small. Rooms overpriced due to visitors to the revival, to be expected.” May 28, 2008 by
Arville from Jacksonville, FL
“Holiday Inn keeps it's facilities clean and updated. The only negative thing I encountered was funky extension cords for the wiring to the refrigerator and microwave.” May 5, 2008 by

“Staff was very helpful in accommodating our needs; giving directions, etc. Rooms were clean, though not plush. Our location near the pool was very noisy from outside walkers and talkers after midnight.” Nov 11, 2007 by
Jennifer from Kissimmee, FL
“Not worth the price we paid; hotel accommodations in Lakeland are in need of competition!” May 1, 2007 by
Katie from Port Charlotte, FL
“The number of beds was supposed to be 2 but only one was in the room. It was a glorified motel and I was not thrilled with it. for the amenities that it offered.” Mar 18, 2007 by

“Great place to stay weather for a week or just a stop over. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.” May 4, 2006 by

“Back in November 2005, when the room was booked, I requested - and was assured of receiving - a ground-floor handicap-accessible room with two double or queen size beds; and that the handicap parking space would be in front of the room. This was again confirmed in February. My stay was April 22-30 (had to extend an extra night due to a medical emergency). Upon arrival, however, I learned that the room was on the ground floor and near a single handicap parking space, in front of another room. However, the room we were assigned only contained one king-sized bed, not two double beds. Additionally, the bathroom, while handicap-equipped, was too small in the vanity area, making it difficult to maneuver or use this area. The clothing rack was hung in the vanity area directly in front of the door to the bathing area, making it so that the clothing got wet when using either the vanity sink or coming out of the bathing area if one wasn't completely dry or was trying to dry off in that small area. When I contacted the staff, I was relocated to a second floor room. The desk clerk advised me that all rooms that met my medical requirements had already been assigned and occupied. The second floor room fit our needs in every way other than being able to use my medical equipment. Since there was no elevator, I had to climb stairs, which was extremely difficult and painful and made it impossible for me to use my medical equipment. As a result, I've suffered a setback healthwise.” Feb 28, 2006 by

“I had no problem with my reservation, I loved the location of my room and the appearance, the staff were efficient and friendly. I purchased 2 nights and stayed only one because the carpet in that room was so sticky that I could not go barefooted. It was horrible. I did not talk with management because I left at 2 in the morning for Ft. Lauderdale. I decided not to drive back to the motel the second night. It was like the carpet had hairspray or glue, sugar or something horribly tacky in it everywhere. I just slept in my car in Ft. Lauderdale the second night. ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 7, 2005 by

“We were lucky enough to get a room facing the pool on the ground floor so the kids had immediate gratifcation. I liked the fact that someone called us after having arrived to see that we had everything we needed in the room.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.May 18, 2005 by
