• Nothing.
• The front desk clerk on the day of my arrival.

“The day of my arrival, the front desk clerk wasn't very friendly. He didn't explain the amenities nor did he say hope you enjoy your stay. There was no business center, low water pressure in the sink along with the water going from hot to cold. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had.”

• Asked the maid for an extra cookie, and she made a long walk and brought two.
• No fridge in my rooms. Other rooms had them

“In a word, excellent. Cuts off breakfast at 9:00 - much too early.”

• It was excellent for the price and convenient to SEU.
• Breakfast was just ok. Did not have any fruit like apple.

“The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and it included breakfast. The location to my daughter's college, Southeastern, is excellent. I would definitely return in the near future.”

• Good breakfast bar.
• No computer available for use, the pool constantly had stuff floating in it. It didn't seem to be cleaned frequently enough.

“Great place to stay overall. Big downfall was not having a computer available for guests. The pool was nice but constantly had stuff floating in it- needs more attention. Good breakfast buffet, but not enough tables to accommodate all of the people there.”

“The room I received was a "smoking" room and I requested "non-smoking". They had no other rooms available. The A/C also didn't work properly. Extremely bad experience.”

• The staff, lobby and pool were wonderful.
• Bathroom floor was dirty, temperature controls were missing, had to unplug unit, bathroom doors didn't shut well.

• I had an issue with the smoking room when I phoned to manager, they changed to non-smoking without hassle.
• I liked it very much - the only issue was one elevator was broken, but another worked and things happen.

“I was attending the Lakeland revival with a friend. Overall, a great experience and the manager was the one that changed my hotel room to non-smoking. He had told me to call back around noon on check-in day and I called at 10:30 and it was already handled. Very courteous and the breakfast rivaled breakfast at any Marriott and even some Hyatt's. I would tell friends to use this hotel. This was my first LaQuinta and I was happy. Thank you.”

• Beds were so comfortable and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful!
• Nothing.

“La Quinta was an excellent value and highly exceeded our expectations. The beds were extremely comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I felt as if they valued me as a guest. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family and would definitely stay there again!”

• The breakfast was wonderful. You had everything you wanted for a quick breakfast, even get to make your own waffles.
• We arrived early and left our luggage with the front desk staff, they never moved it to our room later, and the room had hair all over the place when.

“I wrote a letter to the GM of the hotel and was addressed at once. I would stay at the hotel again with a little lower expectation this time.”

• The room was clean.
• The pool was closed.

“I was surprised to find that this hotel was under construction. It was in the process of being painted. This is all well and good however, I would have not stayed at this hotel had I known this. Also, due to the painting, the pool was closed. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because of the pool and hot tub - that I was not able to use.”

• It had all the amenities we were looking for, wife, continental breakfast, location and heated pool.
• Several times throughout our visit it looked as is staff that was off duty was hanging around the reception area chatting with employees.

“Location was very important and it worked out wonderful. Continental breakfast area was clean, hot and fresh. The attendant was always refreshing products and tables were always cleaned off immediately. I would stay here again if Im back in the area.”

“The hotel was lovely and had spacious rooms. Front desk staff was friendly. Our floor was rather noisy, however. Regular hallway sounds and next room sounds are not insulated very well.”

• A smoking room was provided to us, even though we strongly asked for a non-smoking room.

• Size of room¿s cleanliness and friendliness of front desk.
• Pets, you could hear them barking all night.

“Because of health issues this should be established before negotiating a price. I encountered this problem at this hotel and thanks to the front desk I was able to resolve it. Except for the pets the hotel was really nice.”

• Large bathrooms, Very clean.
• You can hear people in the hall too well.

“Since the room was prepaid, check in was painless. It was literally, "What's your name, sign here, here's your key". Very fast and efficient. Check out was the same. The rooms and hotel were very clean. The bathrooms are large. I like the layout of the room. The only complaint is that there was a large family staying in the room next to us and they liked to hang out in the hall. You can hear people in the hall very well. I asked them to keep it down and they did. Not the hotels fault but a design problem. I couldn't hear them when they were in their room though.”

“The evening staff were SUPER friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient to shopping, malls, food and the workshop that I attended. I highly recommend this location to anyone.”
