• Very family friendly and located at a perfect spot on the beach!
• Rooms are small, no balconies and most have no view.

“The Holiday Inn is run by some very nice and friendly people. If you are looking for a luxury resort, this isn't the place. If you are looking for a nice, clean, affordable place to stay on a beautiful beach in Florida, then you found the right place! Our kids are already talking about going back there next year!”

• Let us check in early and check out late, friendly and
  clean.

“We enjoyed our stay, we were allowed to check in early and check out late who really helped us to relax and have time to go to the beach and out to eat. Our room was clean, and nicely appointed.”

• The location and the restaurant was nice as well as the amenities.
• The room had a funny smell and the front desk clerk the day we checked out was unfriendly.

“The hotel was very nice. The location was great, close to the beach. Good amenities and good onsite restaurant. The hotel staff for the most part was friendly and attentive. The desk clerk on check out could have been friendlier.

• Beautiful and close to the beach.
• It wasn't the hotel it was Tropical Storm Fay that ruined the experience for us.

• Clean, beach access wonderful & easy, friendly, beautiful well-kept grounds, relaxing, quiet.
• The French toast was soggy.

“This was a quiet peaceful place. The grounds are beautiful and I loved how I could just walk out onto the beach with lawn chairs available. Their were hammocks to rest in the palm grove & a swimming pool. Workers pleasant and helpful. Shopping and restaurants were near yet not in view to spoil the views of the land and beachfront. Not fancy but clean and pleasant. Refrigerator/microwave available was handy.”

• Location, pool and chairs on the beach.
• Loud if you have adjoining room.

“All in all, pretty good. We use this hotel often and never have a problem. They accommodate early/late check-in/out when they can. Have clean rooms. We never ate at the restaurant, but kids 12 & under eat free (sometimes need to remind them). The kids like the pool, there's a bar. Chairs on the beach. Staff is usually friendly. As in all beach hotels expect some wear and tear on the room.”

• The closeness and accessibility to the beach!
• It is a bit pricey for my budget.

“A great place to get away. It has a great access to the beach and the island itself has a number of interesting places to eat. The charm and the ambiance of the island is simply a very positive experience.”

• Affordable price for on the beach in Sanibel.
• No elevators. No outdoor Jacuzzi.

“The hotel is priced reasonably low for the area. We could not find an elevator, so had to carry luggage up staircase. Room was nice. Very clean. Pool was warm. Disappointed that there was no outdoor Jacuzzi. Great access to the beach. We only ate in the restaurant for breakfast. While understaffed, we received excellent service. The waitress was top-notch. Overall, a nice hotel for Sanibel Island.”

• Clean, nicely decorated, great pool area, beautiful beach with chairs for hotel guests to use without a fee and guest laundry.
• Pool bar closes at 6:00 p.m.

• I loved the ambiance of this hotel. It was very well maintained, and clean as well as beautifully landscaped. The beach area was great also.
• There was nothing that I didn't like.

“This was unlike any holiday inn that I've stayed at. It offered a kind of charm and ambiance that typical holiday inns don't have. The restaurant is privately owned and leases the space from holiday inn, which explains the exceptional quality of food. Everything looked pristinely well maintained and attractive. It seemed ideal for a romantic get away or family vacation.”

• The mosquito's there was plenty of them.

• TV problem was not dealt with.

“Overall good to excellent. Used restaurant only once (breakfast) service & food very good. Room was kept very well. Grounds were clean. Staff was friendly.”

• Located directly on the beach.
• Continental breakfast was withdrawn the last day.

“Older, well-maintained and well-decorated hotel directly on the beach - small bar with snacks at poolside. Restaurant was closed when we arrived, but re-opened under new management the day we left.”
