• Location.

“Situated on a lovely bay with waterfront access. Easy walk to shops and restaurants, very scenic. Restaurant on site had great outdoor waterfront bar and dining. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

• The staff was extremely helpful.
• Breakfast was poor.

“The hotel is well located; rooms would need a refurbishing soon. The staff is very nice and friendly; they will help you in anything you may need, even when you lock your car with the keys inside the trunk. The only negative thing was the breakfast, poor variety and quality.”

• Just mediocre.
• It looked tired. Staff members were not consistently helpful, some very, some not.

“This hotel is beautifully located on the waterfront and overlooking Port Charlotte Bay. It is adjacent to a beautiful park with paved pathways for walking and is close to Fisherman's Village for shopping and the Ponce de Leon Park for nature. It is a tired looking place, though, that is just sloppy. The staff was very uneven in terms of helpfulness and a welcoming attitude, some excellent and others curt. One day our room wasn't refreshed, even though we were away from the hotel for most of the day, and we had to ask for towels because they hadn't been changed. At best, the hotel is lackluster, despite its great location.”

“The hotel worked out well for me. It was close to my business within walking distance to some nice restaurants and had nice views of Charlotte Harbor.”

• Good location, easy to get to, fairly safe, nice sunset.
• The public area was kind of small and crowded in the morning.

“In general the hotel met my expectation, it is nice LY located, with very nice sunset view, and nice walk by the water, it has some nature trail that me and wife enjoyed, the time I spent there was very enjoyable overall, I will go again when I need to.”

• I loved the water view from my room.
• Nothing.

“Great location. Very friendly and eager to please staff. Checked in on me after just 20 minutes to make sure all was ok. I had a great experience. I had a great view of the harbor and the boats. Very relaxing.”

• It was convenient to the area I had business in.

• Location on waterfront was great for watching the sun set.
• Noise, noise, noise! And more noise!! Staff didn't care or else had heard it all before.

“Location was beautiful, especially at sunset. The small beach adjacent to hotel was filthy. Room had broken deck chair, peanuts and candy wrapper on floor. Was one of the noisiest hotels I¿ve ever stayed in. You could hear every door close and I could have recorded verbatim the conversation of the man next door's phone conversation. Walls are not insulated from sound at all! If you want to sleep, stay somewhere else. I would not recommend this hotel.”

• Room was not cleaned on two nights, no towels, no shampoo.
• The hotel was crowded and the staff could not handle the cleaning and were nor courteous.

“The hotel was understaffed and had new people running it. We could not get anyone to help us.”
