• Location was close to everything. Right next door to Cracker Barrel.
• Uncomfortable beds and very limited TV channels.

• Beds were so uncomfortable I almost slept in the chair.

“I believe the only reason this is considered a 2 star motel is because it is a Best Western and it has rooms that open from the inside of the motel. By the way the air-conditioning was broke in the hallway of the 4th floor.”

• The hotel was quiet, and suited my needs (I only stayed one night). They had a pool, but I did not use it.
• The computer in the lobby only worked for a short period and did not work after a rainstorm. The staff did not do anything about it.

“The hotel is right beside I-75 (interstate highway), but I did not notice the traffic (maybe I was too tired after my airline flight into Orlando). Best Western is a good chain, and I was very satisfied with my hotel stay. I have relatives living in Ocala, and would not hesitate to stay at Best Western the next time that I am in Ocala.”

• This hotel was actually nicer than I expected.
• If you like very firm mattresses - you will love this hotel.

“This hotel was in a good location right off I-75 but was pretty quiet. It doesn't look like much from the outside (I believe I used the word "bunker" when I pulled in the parking lot) but it really pretty nice once you enter the lobby. Everything in the room was neat and clean even though the carpet was old (with a couple of stains). The bed was uncomfortably firm and made sleep difficult for me (and my son who was with me). Also the desk chairs in the room were ridiculously small and were unusable by me (I'm a big guy but that has never happened to me before). This is a good hotel for a single night or stopover but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to business travelers unless you like a very firm mattress. Personally I don't. When I'm traveling on business the most important thing is to a good night's sleep. Overall I was pleased with the hotel. This was a very pleasant surprise.”

• I liked the pool and court yard.
• It was too far from the town attractions.

“I felt like the hotel might be a place for a single business male although there were family's there, it didn't seem as nice as I would prefer for family or for a romantic get-away. We were on a non-smoking floor that constantly smelled of smoke in the hallways.”

“I didn't enjoy the stay as much. I paid for a king size bed and was given a room w/ twin beds. I didn't care, but was in a way rude. Good hotel for a quick stay.”

“It's just the perfect place for me when I go to visit Ocala for family reasons. The front staff are courteous and make sure I get the room I require. Cleanliness is fine. Breakfast is super and has everything I need as a diabetic. I find everything about it to be just right.”

“This hotel is very clean. There is a free breakfast which is very nice. There is free internet in the lobby. Free coffee all day long. The service staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• My second time and it's been a pleasure. Cleanliness and friendliness and all amenities are great.
• I can't think of one thing.

“A pleasant, restful oasis in the busy area of Ocala. A lovely, more than ample, continental buffet. Desk clerks were efficient and helpful and I think the hotel is an excellent choice for anybody for any reason.”

• The pool was too hot to be refreshing.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was close to major highways and amenities. You could walk to several restaurants. The pool area was cleaned daily, the rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was very helpful.”

“If you are looking for a friendly atmosphere, in a relaxed setting then this hotel's knowledgeable staff, prime location will suit you well. Perks include computer and printer usage, (single unit) continental breakfast and heated, but not bubbling Jacuzzi, pool and moderately spacious room.”

• This hotel was very clean and having the continental breakfast was a plus.
• There was no comfortable chair in the room. Eggs, waffles and pancakes would be nice at the breakfast.

“A most pleasant experience. The room was comfortably cool without changing settings - the beds were just right for solid sleeping - and the breakfast was not expansive, but certainly enough to choose from. The surroundings were pleasant, too.”

• I had a bad room.

“This is an older hotel on the side of the interstate highway. Not much pizza, but that was OK with me. Very good location with respect to conducting business in Ocala. My mistake was that I should have changed rooms as soon as I say that I had been assigned a "suite" type room with a door opening to the adjoining room. This door offered absolutely no sound proofing. I did not think much about the door at first, but as the night wore on, I deeply regretted not requesting another room. By that time, it was too late, as I had already lost a night's sleep.”

• The staff were not friendly at all very hostile.

“This hotel was in a good location, it was clean and tidy. The Breakfast room was too small for the amount of rooms they had but there was always a member of staff on duty to help restock the food. The front desk staff were very hostile towards guests and somewhat rude. I guess they are always ready for an argument not a compliment.”

• The separate facility for continental breakfast and its bathroom facilities-impressed with handicap bathroom facility in that area.
• Would have liked a king bed, but was told one was not available.

“It was quiet, clean, and just across the parking lot was a Cracker Barrel Restaurant---a plus! The separate facility for the continental breakfast gave it a restaurant atmosphere. I would certainly recommend it to others.”

• Had a swimming pool.
• The bathroom area off the pool was tile. My daughter slipped and fell on it.

“The continental breakfast was good. The customer service was satisfactory. The T.V channel selections weren't very good, but they did have pay per view movies. The elevator was conveniently located as well as the ice machine. Overall a good hotel for an economy price.”
