- Dinning.
- Not enough towels. Rooms not quite enough.
“This is a very lovely hotel when you walk in, but it didn't have enough of front desk staff to help resolve issue, none wants to wait until Monday to speak to someone. The staff on duty should be able to help and please the guest. Housekeeping should leave enough towels. Dinning experience at breakfast and dinner was outstanding. Pool was very clean at the time I went but that could have been because of the time. Overall I would recommend hotel.”

- All upscale should provide free internet and complimentary coffee in the lobby.
“Hotel is nicely located to shopping and dining, very well kept with clean rooms and pool area. I'm very disappointed not only with this property but others as well that charge a premium price for lodging but feel compelled to charge for everything. Internet and complimentary coffee are two that come to mind.”

- Most employees were outstanding.
- We had a box shipped to the hotel. Several employees insisted that it wasn't there but it was.
“Most aspects of our stay were fine. We had to insist that employees look for the box that we had confirmed was in fact delivered. When we pushed the issue, it was found. Also suggest that bedding with feathers in it be replaced with non-feather bedding.”

- A low cost Historic hotel, very nice.
- There was a wedding reception going on until 2am that was loud. It affected the 2nd floor.
“Great historical hotel in the heart of Greeneville. Stay here instead of a chain and enjoy the Downtown historical sights. I'll ask for a room on the 3rd or 4th floor next time to avoid the noise of the wedding reception party that went late into the night and caused me to not sleep. Other than that it was fantastic.”

“The room was lovely, the bed awesome, the shower to die for. However, it took the room several hours to cool down. The service was mediocre. On Saturday morning I called down to inquire about pancake house style restaurants for breakfast. I was given directions to an IHOP and Cracker Barrel, five to six miles down the interstate. However, there is a Stax Omega, a great local pancake house, just across the street, which I did not discover until later. The maid showed up at 9:00 a.m. We told her that we would be leaving at 9:30 and to please come back. When we returned to the room at 4:00 p.m., the room had never been refreshed. I called to the front desk and told them we would be leaving again around 5 and to send someone up then, but the maid showed up within 10 minutes.”

- There was a bit of a musty smell noticed upon entry into the room.

- The staff is very polite and my 5 year old daughter likes it.
- The wakes up calls were an hour late sun hotel didn't move them 1 hour back.
“The fact that the hotel did not change the computer time back 1 hour on this evening caused big problems. I was awakened at 6 not 7 a.m. But didn't realize it until out of shower. Knowing I was 1 hour early because of it I laid down after placing another wake up call for 8 a.m. Thinking that because they have not made the change in the computer I have to make the wake up to be 1 hour later than when I actually wanted up (7 a.m.). But my wake up call never came and I over slept causing us to miss church which was important to me because it was my weekend visitation w/my only child and she needs me to set good examples. I told this situation politely to the front desk at check out and was assured that a manager would be calling me. I truly believe that they see this and treatment is suddenly different. I have other examples to back my personal opinion but will share them with you when and if asked.”

- Fire alarm went off @ 2:am.
“They had a fire alarm problem @2:am & we had to evacuate. Stayed outside in the cold for about 30 min.'s. The baby got scared & wouldn't get back to sleep. They only offered us their apologies the next morning - a partial refund or credit would have been appropriate. ”

- Attention to detail, fresh apples in lobby, the shower, linens.
- A continental breakfast would have been nice.
“The staff is extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. There is an attention to detail that is refreshing. From the fresh apples in the lobby to the bottled waters in the refrigerator. The man who showed us to our room explained where everything was and how it worked, nothing was left for guesswork. We were given directions to local restaurants and the mall. The entire facility from the lobby to the pool area to the rooms was very clean and beautifully decorated. The shower had a large double head and the soap and shampoo were from bath and body works. The linens were exceptional. Often it is the little things that get me to return to a hotel. Two "little" things that will get me to return, half and half for my in-room coffee instead of powder, and the crib I requested was in my room upon arrival -rather than me having to ask and wait. - Each room has a mini-fridge.
- There were loud girls in the next room, and despite a call to the front desk, they never quieted down.
“This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was fancy and clean. The spa and pool were fantastic. The rooms were large and well equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaint is the price of room service was too high.”

- Hotel looks brand new on inside. Rooms are great.
- Location isn't fantastic.. But still not too bad.
“This hotel, while 20 years old, still looks brand new. A recent renovation has the Marriott looking brand new, modern and sheik. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. The hotel also features indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, day spa (additional fee). The restaurant and bar are very modern-looking. Plus, oodles and oodles of conference space combined with the proximity to gasp make this hotel and ideal business hotel.”
