• The location.
• It is impossibly noisy.

“I had to change my room 3 times because I had asked for a quiet room in the beginning, and the desk clerk put me in an adjoining room along with screaming children in the halls. The hotel does not control the noise level or seem to have any rules about very young children traveling along all over the hotel and the parking lot. I changed my room for the second time because that room had a broken rail in the shower. It's a shame they don't require parents to watch their own children.”

• Attractive, clean, free Internet.
• Poor service at front desk.

“I made it known that this was my first Priceline stay, but I let them know that I belong to their Honors program and was a regular customer. It was obvious that the hotel was not full, but the front desk would not consider looking for an alternate room to the handicap room that they gave me. The toilet had problems that I reported on day one, yet they failed to repair it as promised. They apologized when I checked out, but that seemed to be just out of obligation.”

• Friendly and accommodating staff.
• Air conditioning broken in room, finally moved us to another room after fix did not work.

• The Lobby and Zip check in for room and airline.
• Being charged for Local Calls 0.95 per call and being charged for Internet Access $10.55.

“The Lobby and public areas were impressive and well maintained - however, despite the amenities, the room(s)seem outdated in decor (almost had a 'dirty' vibe) and the first room I was given smelled like it was a Smoking Room although it indicated it wasn't. I requested a difference room and was accommodated.”

• Free parking, unlike downtown Greenville.
• Hotel probably got 3.5 Stars because of name (Hilton), not presentation and quality.

“Checked in around 4:00pm. Front desk staff was very nice and respectful. After 11:00pm, the night front desk member sounded like he didn't want to be at work.”

• The location was good and near several restaurants.
• The hallways had not been vacuumed well, if at all.

“This hotel is in a good location and near many restaurants and a mall. It has easy access to interstates and the downtown area. The service was good as well. I would probably stay here again.”

• Pool was small.

“The hotel restaurant was to open Saturday at 5:30 and did not open until 6:10. It would not have been a problem except we had a time - line and chose to eat at the hotel to save time. It was a change to stay in a nice hotel and not pay for parking!”

• Location.
• The restaurant was a disgrace. The pool was dirty, the manger less than helpful. Internet $11/day.

“In summary, this hotel is average. The restaurant was awful. Very little selection, some of that selection not even available and when we were finally served (after 1 hour!) the entire meal was cold. I would never eat there again. The staff was extremely unhelpful and we were offered no compensation for any of the issues we encountered. We will not stay again.”

“The TV had bad reception, the volume only went up to a certain number, not many channel options, there was no refrigerator, wasn't very good reception on the wireless internet (WiFi). We did like the privacy of the pool area as well as the fully equipped fitness center.”

• Very attractive and upscale lobby. Rooms are large, pretty and comfortable.
• Not walking distance to Downtown.

“Very elegant hotel a short drive from Downtown Greenville. Ample free parking and free internet. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and quite attractive. Loved the Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries!”

• The staff really tried to be pleasant and helpful.
• My bathroom was filthy.

“Most aspects of this hotel met with the Hilton name and my expectations. My bathroom was disgusting. The floor was sticky, there was someone else's trash under the sink area, and it looked like the base of the toilet had not been cleaned for months. The first night I asked for the floor and toilet to be cleaned on the second. The man at the front desk initially wanted me to find some paper communication for the cleaning staff. He said it was in the bathroom. The only thing I found was about the towels. He did say that he would leave a message with housekeeping. Regardless of this, there were trash cans when I returned from my day. I bet they are still there now!”

• The staff allowed us to set up for a birthday party for my mother-in-law before she checked in.
• The elevators had no ventilation and were hot.

• The bed was very comfortable.
• The sheets had not been changed and there was used soap in the shower.

“When we checked in the woman at the desk tried to give us a parlor suite which was a pull out sofa bed. We did end up with a King room. When we got to the room, I went to take a nap. Got in the bed and there was a dirty towel under the covers with me. The sheets had not been changed. There was a used bar of soap in the shower. No idea if the towels were clean. Housekeeping did come and change the sheets, but the used soap stayed. The room smelled stale and the air conditioner did not cool the room at all.”

• Needs a turn arrow at the traffic light that leads to the hotel.

“I was expecting more from a Hilton hotel, the lobby area, staff and facility were great but as soon as I got to the room everything went down hill. It looked liked they haven't taken care of their facility in a while the room was old and some stuff was dirty I complained in the front desk but all they said was we will let the cleaning crew know. I've been in many Hilton's before and left fully satisfied but disappointed me.”

• An upscale look with all the amenities, yet welcoming and friendly.
• Did not get to stay long enough.

“An outstanding place to stay near Greenville's downtown parks. spotless, well maintained appointments. Indoor pool and sauna were a great treat, clean and well maintained. You know it is going to be good when you board the elevator and a guy is in there shining the chrome fixtures.”

• The bed was nice and comfy, you could get lost in it.
• kids running up and down halls at all hours, adjoining room, people trying to enter our room.

“Over all room was small. The decor was nice and cozy. The hotel let teenage children run the halls at all hours of the night. I am all about having a good time, but when sharing the night with others try to have some respect and quite the kids down at 10 pm. I am not only putting blame on the Hilton, I am sure there were Parents there that should have taken control. I could maybe expect it from a motel 6, but again, I stayed at the Hilton.”
