• Close to the hospital we were visiting.
• Bathroom needed to be cleaner, ticks in bed.

“We were traveling to shands with our new 3wk old son, and 2 older children. The location was great, and the overall appearance of the hotel was okay. The room was okay at first glance and the bathroom could've been cleaner by my standards, but my husband was feeding our son on one of the beds and noticed a tick on the bed. After pulling back the sheets, he saw 3 more. The staff was very helpful and tried offering us another room, but my husband couldn't fathom staying in one of their beds, so we went ahead and came home that night without any sleep. If we ever go back, we will not be staying there.”

• Convenient location.
• Some travelers created unsafe scene. (Fight!)

“Hotel is in lower classification from my past experience. did not offer us the reduced rate for medical reasons at Shands Hospital over the Web. Hotel was satisfactory for general travelers. Night mgr 2nd night did a good job.”

• There is nothing at all I liked about any part of it.

“We were traveling with our 3 month old child to Sands Children Hospital. When we got there it was a smoking room. Our daughter has respiratory problems so we could not accept the room.”
