• Conveniently located.

• Comfortable beds
• Pool very dirty, breakfast expensive.

“Before you go realize that it does not come with a free breakfast. The price for breakfast was $10 no matter if you only get coffee and cereal. Also the pool was small and dirty. Tons of leaves and dirt in it. We were put in a handicap room which we did not ask for. Since it was handicap their was no tub so we had to wash our baby in the sink. The front desk was horrible at telling us directions. We asked how far the airport was and they told us 15-20 minutes it took us over an hour. We then asked where the beach was and they couldn't tell us.”

• Less than a 10 minute drive to Busch Gardens.
• Front desk clerk did not tell us about the adjustable beds in our room.

• The hotel was extremely clean, beds were sooo comfortable, staff was tremendous, coffee was great!

“We were extremely happy with the hotel. The rooms were very clean, the staff were wonderful, the lobby/gathering area was fabulous. The pool was always clean and orderly. The complimentary coffee and newspaper were A+++ on my list. Would stay there again and again”

• Attractive room and public spaces; friendly, accommodating staff; microwave & fridge, plus coffee & condiments in room.
• Would have appreciated free breakfast, of course.

“This was our second stay at a HGI, and we love the hotels. Everything is top drawer. And the extras like tea, hot chocolate, coffee, and warm cookies
available 24/7 add to the attraction. This HGI has a female staff member who goes out of her way to ask how the guests are enjoying their stay and whether she can help them with anything. Go HGI Tampa!”

• Allowed me to store luggage with early arrival and use pool outside.
• Hair in sink not cleaned well.

“Location was great
easy to access major highways. Staff was very accommodating, let me store luggage when I arrived early so that I could use the pool and relax. Also allowed a delayed departure the next day with no charge. Wi-fi was free.”

• It was very quiet.
• The bed was not soft enough for me.

“This hotel would be great for any business trip because of the free wireless in every room. It would also be fine for a family trip because it is very close to I-75, a few fast food restaurants, USF, Busch Gardens, and MOSI. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. I was also impressed that the front desk called up to see if they could tell my husband the room number since he arrived a few hours after I had checked in, and the room happened to be in my name only.”

“My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was one exit away from restaurants and attractions. We had business in Brandon, FL which was a short 10 minute ride away. 20 minutes to the airport. Not a bad stay at all.”

“This is by far the best hotel experience I have had. Beds were very comfortable, room nice and clean and even including a mini fridge and a microwave. Best of all the ability to fully close the curtains for complete darkness (a must for me). Highly recommended.”

“Nice hotel, but need a better fire system since the alarm went off when a guest was using a hot shower and the steam set off the alarm. Not happy to be woken up at 4am due to a malfunction.”

• Once on the premises I felt very comfortable and safe, my room was well furnished and impeccable clean.
• It was a bit far away from any stores or restaurants.

• When I went to make tea before bed, I discovered the coffee pot hadn't been cleaned. I did not complaint, just didn't have tea.

“The hotel was ok with the exception of that dirty coffee pot, but then that raises an eyebrow and makes you wonder what else they forgot to clean.”

• Like a 4 star hotel - just lacking room service & restaurant.
• Maids did not clean room during my stay.

“This is a beautiful upscale hotel with nice updated rooms that would rate 4 stars except that the Air Conditioning units (6 yrs. old) need to be replaced and it doesn't have a full service restaurant or room service. I got a room with a noisy Air Conditioner. I called the front desk and they quickly found me another room and the Air Conditioner worked just fine. It was off season so the hotel was over 1/2 empty so moving me to another room was not a problem, but it could be a problem during peak season if all the rooms were all sold out. I spent two nights and the maids did not clean my room after the first night. I'm not sure if it was an oversight or the fact that I got such an incredible rate on this hotel.”

• The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone from the bottom up was exceptionally polite, displayed a high level of professionalism.
• There was nothing about the hotel that was negative.

• It was very pretty and set of a main road.
• Girl at front desk seemed to have forgotten to order us a air mat for the kids.

“It was a very pretty hotel, clean and up to date.. I don't think it is worth what they want per night. They supply coffee and tea but nothing else. If you want breakfast it is 9.99 per person (ouch). Not to sure about lunch or dinner. All and all it was a nice stay and worth what we paid.”

• Very relaxing and quiet. The hotel was sold out & you would not know it because it was so quiet. We enjoyed the spa and pool to ourselves. We had a gr.
