• Pool needed clean.

“Updated hotel with great downtown location. Courteous and helpful staff. Parking fee is reasonable with a short walk to enter the hotel but, valet is available. Would not hesitate to stay again at this location when visiting the area.”

“Nice hotel, downtown Greenville. Convenient location. I was not pleased with the fact that the hotel charges for WiFi. Although, this does not connect in the hotel. There is a computer lab as well. Why charge? Also, there is free parking a couple of blocks away on the weekend. I think the hotel could stand to offer free parking as well on the weekend, the garage was mostly empty. It's like they are trying to make money on everything that could be free for guests.”

• Asked for a different room due to noise they put us in another noisy area.

“It is convenient but when we checked in, they put is in a room with a door to an adjoining room. I told them there were very loud kids next door and would like to be moved to a quieter area. They moved us above the pool and this is during the summer. Its in the middle of downtown and the room was very nice.”

• The bed was very comfortable.
• Paying extra for parking and internet. Plan for an extra $16 per night.

“There are hotels much closer to where I needed to be that didn't charge extra for parking and WiFi. Restaurants are close and available but are more suited to the vacation traveler. The room is nice and newly renovated with a very comfortable bed. The staff is pleasant and professional.”

• Great bed, iPod dock, flatscreen TV with good channels, and excellent downtown location.
• The sheets smelled like whatever detergent was used to wash them.

“Upscale hotel in the heart of downtown Greenville. Within easy walking distance of several bars and restaurants. Also, good hotel security that required key access at entry points. Room was a nice size with good bed, iPod dock and flatscreen TV. The only thing I would change is the strong smell of detergent on the bedding. Other than that - very nice stay.”

• Valet parking charge of $15.00 came as a surprise. Not good.

“We arrived late in rainy weather. The valet staff met and greeted is and were extremely helpful. Got our stay off to a great start. Breakfast waitress was outstanding! Departure was easy and smooth.”

“Nice hotel centrally located within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Nice room with a large LCD TV and a very comfortable bed. Exercise room was one of the best we've seen in a hotel. Restaurant was expensive and the hotel charged for parking.”

“It was in a great location, we were able to park and walk to stores, restaurants, and sites. The staff was very nice and friendly. It was the noisiest hotel we have ever been in. Not sure who the other guest were but they where up and down the halls all night making all kinds of noise!”

• Quite, really comfy bed, flat screen TV in the room. No light seeping in from doorway. Beautiful view of the sun coming over the mountains in the AM.
• Daily charge for internet and Parking.

“Wow! This is a nice hotel! The bed was really comfortable I slept right through the night. The sunrise over the mountains in the morning was awesome! The room was spic and span and it smelled really nice. The office furniture was of good quality and made working in the evening a pleasure. The atrium/lobby is visually spectacular. The moment I walked through the door, I was surrounded by lush greenery and running water falls. I could feel the stressons leaving my body and relaxons taking their place as I walked through the door. The staff was great and very helpful. If I had any improvement to offer it is this: Please give me free in room internet. Other than that, it was a great experience.”

• The location is perfect and it's a Hyatt Regency!
• I liked everything.

“Downtown Greenville is a very fascinating place, and the Hyatt is a perfect hotel to use as a base for exploration. I don't normally stay in high class hotels like this, so was very impressed with everything. From the friendliness of the employees who checked us in to the wonderful beds and flat screen LCD TV. The lobby was awesome and the glass elevators were a trip in itself.”

• The renovations are pretty; great access to beautiful Downtown Greenville.
• Noisiness in hallways between 12:30-3:00 am, small bathrooms.

“The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located to beautiful Downtown Greenville but the last two times we have stayed here the Friday night bar hoppers have made their way into their rooms and others between 12:30-3:00 am. The noise in the halls is very disturbing and it takes the hotel a long time to respond to this. This makes this nice, upscale hotel very unappealing, especially for families with children (with the language that has been associated with this). We've stayed here probably 8-10 times in the past three years and Im honestly hoping for a different hotel next time. Didn't used to feel this way.”

• The hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs.
• There was no mini fridge or microwave in the room.

“We used this Hotel for a Bachelorette Party and the hotel was very nice in helping us get our requests. The Bar and Grill was very nice, and it was nice of the manager to give us our own patio space and a couple complementary appetizers. They called a few days ahead of the reservation date to as if we had any special requests for the Bachelorette. Very Helpful and Nice people.”

“Not quite up to par with younger Hyatt's. Had problem w/ housekeeping one day. They remedied it immediately and sent us up some hors d'ouevre and bottled water as an apology. Very savvy. No safe for jewelry but nice hotel, decor, and great Greenville Main St. location.”

“Excellent bed. Pricey breakfast but good omelets. Flat screen TVs nice. Very enjoyable atmosphere and public areas, particularly atrium with bar/restaurant/lobby. Room at pool level (outside) looked out at closed pool and shared wall with fitness center (noise). Beautiful check-in experience, no problem getting king bed (freely offered choice). Older facility, seemed recently remodeled. Would like to return.”

“The rooms were extremely comfortable. It's in the middle of town, walking distance to events and restaurants. I travel with a Dodge Sprinter and there was no secure parking for my van. But other than that, everything was great! I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler, business or family.”

• Beautiful Room plus extra effort to make sure I received wakeup notice.
• Charge for Internet Access.

“This is really a beautiful property located in a rejuvenated downtown. The service was excellent with fast and courteous service across the board with special service touches like a follow-up wakeup call offer when you ask for a crack of dawn wakeup call. I was showering during my follow up call and couldn't quite get to the phone and the hotel sent a bellman up. That's service!”

• I liked the spaciousness of the rooms as well as the décor.
• I am a senior citizen with heart disease. I requested a room near the elevator and was given one that was at the end of two corridors.

“The Hotel does not have access from the garage into the Lobby which is a distance from the entrance. Guest must go outside without shelter from inclement weather. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are tastefully decorated. Front Desk staff could be more user friendly. Overall, it is first class hotel.”

“Very nice, great deal. Rooms were very attractive and had no issues. Parking was only $6 and a 1 minute walks away so that was very nice also. Downtown Greenville was a great location for a stay over, lots of boutiques and restaurants and things to do.”

“This hotel was excellent, everything was lovely. The only problem that I had is that i feel that the hotel should not charge so much for breakfast and drinks. Example: breakfast coasted 17.99 and one soft drink was 2.00. That's a little ridiculous.”
