• The evening staff clerk was very nice and the others were also helpful and all were friendly and ready to please.
• The door to the room did not work well.

“There were many hotels of similar quality on this street but this one had a warm pool and I could walk to a nice restaurant next door. Also they had real eggs at the breakfast. Down town was a straight shot and only a few miles away so were the grocery stores and the airport. Very convenient. The staff was super nice too.”

• Newness, spacious room, and unique layout of room.
• No donuts or sweet rolls on breakfast bar.

“The hotel was more than I expected it to be. Personnel were helpful and courteous. Everything was clean. The building was in excellent shape. It was in the perfect location. There was ample parking. It was quiet and private. Animals were allowed in the building but did not bother those without pets. Everything to my knowledge worked well. Great experience.”

• Front desk person was extremely helpful. Liked the continental breakfast.
• Bathtub was falling apart; there were tiny bugs in the tea and coffee in the room.

• The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly.
• The recliner in the room was broken and had spots all in the seat of it, and all but one ice makers were broken except the one on the 2nd floor.

“Other than the damage and broken recliner in the room and the broken ice makers at the hotel not working, everything else was very nice and I would stay there again.”

• Not enough electrical outlets. No instructions (or possibly no way) to get on internet. Stale smell in hallway.

• The carpet appeared to be old and needing to be replaced but otherwise the room was clean and comfortable.

• Variety of oatmeal for breakfast. Ready before 6 am.
• Absolutely no water pressure.

“Nice place. Water pressure wouldn't even knock soap off in shower. Took 30 minutes to fill up tub. This motel consistent with most comfort inns that have placed permanent bathmats in tub. They are all peeling up with stuff floating in tub.”

• Smelly 2nd floor hallway, dingy, worn out carpet.

“We could not get the internet to work in our room and hook up with my husband's laptop We spent over a hour on the phone with the hotels internet provider to no avail. The hallway was smelly and had a dingy worn carpet. The carpet in the room had worn pathways and needed to be replaced. Housekeeping did not attempt to clean our room until 3:00 PM , even though we left at 7:00 AM. I would not stay here again.”

“This hotel was excellent! Very clean, roomy, the staff was very nice. The rooms were clean, in good condition. There were refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms, free internet access, excellent plentiful continental breakfast with free newspaper. This hotel was at an excellent price and I would recommend it to friends and family in a heartbeat. I was very impressed, and it exceeded my expectations.”

• Third floor hallway had a very strong smell ,similar to urine.

“This hotel is very good quality for your money. It has clean, comfortable rooms. There's a wonderful pool and hot tub to relax in in the evenings after a day of sightseeing, shopping or visiting friends. We actually stayed at the hotel twice during our trip to Sarasota.”

• The non-smoking rooms were on the same floor as smoking. Smell permeated the hall, drifted into our NS room.

• Our room was clean and contained all the things we needed for our stay. Plenty of parking even thou they were booked full.
• Road access was very unhandy. It is behind a gas station with no direct road access.

• Consistent Service and friendly staff.
• Not as modern or roomy as some newer ones but better than lots.

“The hotel was adequate for the price I paid. It was clean and the maid service was great. Desk clerks were helpful and friendly. Very quiet and relaxing and an enjoyable experience. When I travel I use hotels for way points to sleep and regroup at. Not for the pools or attractions. This hotel was more than adequate for my needs.”

• Access to location was dangerous and difficult.

“Staff was excellent, facilities were average but clean. It was dark when we arrived and we almost did not find our way into the facilities. We could see the place from the road due to construction and street blockage in front of the facility. We had to go through a Burger King parking lot to access the place.”

• the shower had luke warm water , not hot at all.

• The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was varied and plentiful.
• The carpets in the room should be cleaned more frequently, when walking in socks they became very dirty.

“I enjoyed staying at the motel because it was convenient to many places, restaurants, beaches and the airport. Although I didn't use the pool personally, children in our group did and they enjoyed it very much.”
