“This is an over rated hotel in that it does not provide basic amenities like frig and micro.” Oct 18, 2009 by
Jim from Quincy,FL
“Excellent in all categories.” Oct 14, 2009 by
Patty from Orlando,FL
“Good location and the bed was great.” Oct 9, 2009 by
lynne from St Augustine,FL
“Overpriced for what you get compared to today's version of 3.5 star rated hotels. Also, for a Hyatt, seemed on the very low end of what Hyatt's usually offer in the way of ambiance, and luxury.” Oct 8, 2009 by
Allison from Clermont,FL
“A Balcony would have been nice, but no big deal. The hot tub on the roof was great but the bubble jets didn't seem to work like they should have.” Oct 4, 2009 by
Cory from Charlotte,TN
“Unfriendly staff, everyone had their hand out for a tip that they did not deserve! No parking, dirty pool, small bathrooms with no vents for steam, toilet is very noisy, ac barely cools, room and halls smell like cig smoke & I bought a smoke free room. It took 45 minutes to get a bell boy to get my bags to leave. Old style TV, no internet in the room provided. Cheap shower head for a cheap shower! Very disappointing stay!” Sep 23, 2009 by
Sheryl from Orlando,FL
“Perfect location, would absolutely recommend! Great service, very polite, very clean, beautiful view!!” Sep 22, 2009 by
Andres from Miami,FL
“Overall the stay was good. The only thing that they should tell people that if you want to park yourself it will cost you $14/day. Valet is 18/day but I didn't know until I got there.” Sep 16, 2009 by
Paula from Ocala,FL
“Great value for the bid I made.” Sep 9, 2009 by
Titus from Okeechobee,FL
“The hotel was very nice, and I would recommend priceline to all my friends and family. I enjoyed my stay, and I would stay again.” Aug 24, 2009 by
Krista from Pompano Beach,FL
“It was a perfect location for our trip. Hotel was clean and the staff was great.” Aug 22, 2009 by
Russ from Sarasota,FL
“Overall a nice hotel, however the parking ticked me off. 20 bucks to park overnight. I can see why I got this hotel for 79 dollars for one night. That really makes this hotel a 100 night hotel. I wouldn't have paid that for sure. It was a clean hotel with nice amenities, but I'm still amazed how hotels like this still charge for internet access. I can stay at a low end hotel and I'll get that free every time with a free breakfast. Again, this was a nice hotel, but definitely not worth the money through priceline and clearly not through their normal rates(140/night + parking + internet=170/night).” Aug 20, 2009 by
William from Apollo Beach,FL
“Very nice stay, will stay again in the future.” Jul 26, 2009 by
Allwyna from Coral Gables,FL
“Probably well located if you don't have a car, but everything is very expensive in the hotel. also the ambience is cold.” Jun 23, 2009 by
ET from Sullivan,IL
“On checkout, another family was waiting for their vehicle for about 20 minutes. 2 families were not told that the the vehicles were at some other place besides where it was dropped off. Service desk should have informed us instead of wasting our time waiting.” Jun 11, 2009 by
Allison from Land O Lakes,FL
“Wonderful location in downtown Tampa. Walking distance to old streetcar, connecting to Channel side and Ybor. Made for a great night on the town with my Hubby!” Jun 10, 2009 by
Sean from Fort Myers,FL
“Overall nice hotel great for business travelers going to downtown Tampa. Not so great for going to local amusement parks.” May 31, 2009 by
Samina from Lawrenceville,GA
“The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. This was the best customer service I have had in a while. A downside is that this hotel does not provide a free continental breakfast.” May 26, 2009 by
Heidi from Tampa,FL
“The room was small and they had no micro waves or fridges- they charge for everything. Even an extra towel.” May 25, 2009 by
Dorsah from Chicago,IL
“The hotel in general was very pretty and exotic as most Hyatt Regency Hotels in big cities downtowns. Amenities were very good, hotel room were cleaned daily but the cleaners however seems to be disturbing or harassing guests to clean the rooms. The Cleaners just keep on knocking doors and shooting house cleaning even if you hadn't disturbed stick on your door. I found out they were just trying to make sure they did their cleaning but not per say to disturb, but if you were first timer guest you might consider it a disturbance. I have been in the hotel for a full week and so I knew it was not bad intention but must however be addressed because most of them could not read the English sign of not disturbed on the door. Generally, I liked, enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would highly recommend it to others.” May 20, 2009 by
Debbie from Debary,FL
“I can not believe this was a Hyatt Regency. I always believed that signified quality, if not luxury. We had 3 rooms for our party. One was infested with biting bugs fleas or bedbugs, not sure which, but we left covered in bites. Another was so full of mold it set off my kids' allergies. And when I went to advise the staff of the problems with our rooms, they acknowledged that they were already aware of the problems yet they assigned us the rooms anyway. I have never gotten such poor quality from any hotel in my life. I will absolutely never stay in this place again and will warn any traveler to do likewise. Hyatt should be ashamed of themselves!” May 13, 2009 by
Lindsay from Lakeland,FL
“Very comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Staff was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond.” May 3, 2009 by
Peter from Beverly Hills,FL
“The hotel met our requirement for a location where we wanted to be for the evening. It is great for a one or two night stay primarily business traveler hotel.” Apr 30, 2009 by
Karen from Fallbrook,CA
“The clerk at check in was very rude! I asked for a room with one bed, quite away from the elevator, she gave us a room with two double beds and right next to the elevator, which dinged and announced which floor was next all night. She said that was the only room available for the next four nights, we checked in at 9:00 pm, not too late.” Apr 27, 2009 by
Samira from Sanford,FL
“The staff was not very accommodating. I was not impressed with this hotel. It was very average.” Apr 18, 2009 by
Elena from Willard,MO
“The room wasn't too bad (great addition of the mini fridge made up for the dirty carpeting and tub). They are doing major renovations and turning it into a Best Western. The staff was more focused on that than on us, the handful of customers who were still there. Woke up to someone painting our balcony and totally unaware of us in the room. They should have thrown in free breakfast or something to apologize for having to walk through a construction site every day. No one even asked how our room was or anything. Also, there isn't anything else within walking distance so you definitely need a car to get to a restaurant or shops. The on site one had the worst pancakes I've ever had. On the plus side, the shuttle driver and the bell man were super nice guys and took time to talk to us.” Apr 15, 2009 by
Megan from Woodstock,GA
“Overall it was great - the restaurant, lounge and room service met my needs. The staff was amazing and always very friendly and helpful. The only minor downfall was that there was no refrigerator in the room and the bathroom was very tiny - but that was very minor compared to the wonderful amenities and service. I would definitely stay there again.” Apr 6, 2009 by
Diane from Naperville,IL
“Very nice hotel with clean and comfortable rooms.” Apr 3, 2009 by
Andrew from Slidell,LA

Ike from Savannah,GA
“Nice hotel and location but I prefer to park my own car near by.” Mar 14, 2009 by
Jacki from Aiken,SC
“The location was wonderful for us, the pool and hot tub were great. The bathrooms were very small, and hard for two people, but the bed was very comfortable. We were traveling with friends and they commented that their rooms were warm and they could not control the temperature. We didn't have that problem.” Mar 13, 2009 by
Cheryl from Lackawanna,NY
“This is really a beautiful hotel, and I would stay again if I were attending to something in that area. We were attending a concert at St Pete Times Arena and it was a perfect location for getting there conveniently.” Mar 12, 2009 by
Alana from Orlando,FL
“Great hotel in an excellent location downtown. Pool is beautiful. Lobby bar and restaurant were great. Front desk staff was not the best, they rushed me through the process during check-in and did not have my charges at check-out. Valet staff was very friendly and moved fast.” Mar 8, 2009 by
Kor from Mcclure,PA

“Very nice hotel, with a great location for events at the St. Pete Times Forum Arena. Like a good business, they fill up with large groups on weekend. Like a bad business, they have a full hotel, and only 1 or 2 of their 4 elevators working. Would have to wait 5 or 10 minutes for an elevator, only to find it jammed full when the doors open. Took stairs up and down from 13th floor. After first maid visit, she took all the drinking glasses and coffee cups and didn't replace them. She also failed to leave coffee for the coffee maker. Later she failed to replace the coffee cream, I used. Cleaned room fine though. I had read a review advising to avoid the hotel's expensive parking service, and use the near-by parking garages. That was a good idea.” Mar 4, 2009 by
Greg from Cape Coral,FL
“Parking is an major issue.” Feb 23, 2009 by
Fred from Wilton,CT
“The hotel provides a wonderful location for any financial business traveler. It provides easy access for the leisure traveler with a rental car and the hotel provides wonderful evening transportation options.” Feb 17, 2009 by
Greg from Pittsburgh,PA
“Very nice friendly hotel. Good service. Nice/relaxing pool.” Feb 3, 2009 by
Joseph from Streamwood,IL
“Good hotel, but lacking a laundry room and 24-hour room service. Loved the room except for plug ins for laptop were scarce.” Jan 13, 2009 by
Michael W from Pompano Beach,FL
“Hot looking redecorated rooms, friendly staff & great downtown location make this hotel a winner! AC system was not working well on our visit.” Jan 10, 2009 by
Connie from West Palm Beach,FL “We were given a cloner room on the 15th floor. You see Tampa Bay and the waterfront from this location. Almost everyone was friendly and helpful. The restaurant's food was some of the best I have eaten. There was a good selection.” Jan 6, 2009 by
Linda from Miramar Beach,FL
“This is a nicely appointed and convenient hotel to the downtown area of Tampa. It is on public transportation lines, close to the cruise port and convention center. Rooms are large, modern, well decorated and appointed with granite counter tops in the bath and coffee in the room. Beds were comfortable and double sheeted for cleanliness. I would stay here again without hesitation.” Dec 16, 2008 by
X from Urbana,IL
“Great location, easy parking, easy convenient store, walking to convention center.” Nov 30, 2008 by
Charlene from Adrian,MI
