• Nicely renovated, clean, comfortable.
• Too close to road noise.

“I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was a little small, but adequate, and was quite nice. Looked like new. I did have a bit of a wait to check in, and I suggest that you ask for a room on the mountain side of the hall, not the street side. It was quite noisy due to the proximity to the exit ramp. I would stay there again.”

• Free, quick breakfast and wonderful location.
• Late breakfasting meant less choice but excellent hotel for the price.

“If you are looking for a reasonably
priced and
conveniently
located hotel just to store your luggage and sleep, this is the perfect place for you. Breakfast is provided, so in the morning, just grab a Cuppa Joe, toast and fruit on your way out and you are ready to take in the local sights. In the evening, you will return to a clean, tidied room and will sleep soundly to wake and feel well-rested for another day out.”

• The elderly lady that runs breakfast in the am. She is great nothing.
• Nothing but we are not extremely picky like a lot of other travelers.

• The room was more spacious than I thought it would be.
• The shower was not as clean as I would have liked.

“The location was okay. Not too far from everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean for the most part, but the shower was not as clean as I would expect.”

• Good location.
• Stairwell latch malfunctioned, staff didn't care; fire hazard.

“Overall good, small but comfortable room, good location. One stairwell door latch did not work which is a fire code violation.”

• Very clean, very comfortable bed.
• Handicapped parking was not near the door.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I felt very safe there. I would definitely stay there again.”

• Cigarette burns on the sheets. Could have used better sheets.

• It was cheaper than most available places.
• The room smelled like someone died while smoking a cigar.

“Dark, dank, humid halls lead into dark, dank, humid rooms. Between the strong stench of disinfectant in the halls and the stronger stench of stale smoke and bug bomb in the room, it was a pretty miserable experience.”

• Easy access, very clean, king bed & fridge, great price!
• The train behind the hotel, shower designed for midget; (I am over 6 feet).

“Great location to parkway and i-40. Very clean room, with nice breakfast included. I will stay there again.”

• The housekeeping staff was very friendly and did a wonderful job. We were not pleased with the location of our room and were moved the second day.
• The room was very small and crowded. The other rooms were smaller yet.

“This motel is not near anything in Asheville that we were interested in doing. (Going downtown or hiking/ walking, etc.) The back does face the mountains. The front faces waffle house.”

• Room was very clean and the staff was friendly.
• The air conditioner made an eluvia noise. We finally used the fan setting with vent open to enjoy mountain air.

“Hotel was easy to find and convenient to Asheville. The room was very clean, bed OK. The AC/heat device is one of those under the window things that make a lot of noise. Thankfully evening temperatures in the summer are cool enough to open the vent option and run the fan. The breakfast was very good with friendly staff. I would stay there again.”

• The room was extremely clean, especially the bathroom.
• Breakfast was nice, adding yogurt would make it perfect. The beds were too soft for me, but my husband and son liked them.

“This hotel was easy to find and probably the cleanest room we have ever stayed in. The bathroom especially. Small fridge and microwave were nice also. The beds were a little soft for me, but my husband and son liked them. It was a great place to stay and we would stay there again.”
