• Convenient to interstate and airport.

“This is a very convenient location if you're able to sleep through the hum of the adjacent interstate. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows small and wimpy. The end tables were tiny. The sink area of the bathroom was pretty cramped, too. Plenty of light in the room.”

• The room set-up was comfy.
• The room was hot and the air-conditioning unit seemed inadequate for the heat of Tampa in July and August.

“This was a very nice hotel. It appeared to have been recently renovated. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the air conditioning unit was not powerful enough to cool the room. I decided to keep the curtain closed all day, in order to help it along, but it was still hot. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.”

• Nice room set up and bed was the most comfortable.
• Cleaning crew was noisy next door before 9 am.

“Good location right off I75 near restaurants and shopping. Guest services were pleasant and the room was clean and well set up. The beds in every Courtyard I have visited are the most comfortable I've ever slept on, even at home.”

• Nice business center, clean rooms, friendly staff, great location.
• Continental breakfast would have been nice.

“The staff there was great. We dropped a pen behind the TV. and asked that they fish it out while we were working that day. They had it out and ready for us upon our return. We also had a fax sent to their front dust and they were on top of that also. The rooms were nice size and very clean. Would love to stay again.”

• The setup of the rooms and the staff.
• The no smoking policy.

“It was a great hotel; the only problem is Marriott does not allow smoking in the rooms or even on balconies (which makes no sense). The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The bed was great! Overall an excellent experience, but as a smoker I would likely stay somewhere else next time.”

• Tremendously helpful staff.
• Hallways a little dank.

“This is one of the best-managed Courtyards I've stayed in. Staff was first rate. Good pool, spa or whirlpool, exercise room and breakfast restaurant all were just what we needed. Location is right off the highway. Good restaurants are walk able.”

• nice rooms, very nice pool area, free shuttle to airport and mall, great business area with free internet service
• the front desk person on check in was having personal phone calls both times we went to ask her questions. Once she was off of the phone she helped.

“Great place! Clean hotel with beautiful pool/spa area and super business area with free internet service. Free shuttle to airport and a 2 mile radius--they took us to the mall for some last minute shopping before our cruise!”

• Private patio to pool
• Desk clerk was on the phone when i checked out and didnt say one word to me

“This was a very nice hotel. I especially loved the private patio right to the pool. I didnt have to walk through the lobby to get to the pool. I didnt sleep very well beauce the beds and pillows were very hard. Check out was not until noon and the maid was knocking on my door at 11 sharp so I felt rushed to get out.”

• The location was the best.
• Air conditioning didn't work well.

“The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting Tampa. The staff is great and the rooms are very nicely kept. The air conditioning in my room was not as strong as I would have preferred. The water pressure was weak. Overall, it is a great place to stay, with good amenities.”

“I think this is one of the best hotels in the area. A Johnny Carino's restaurant is within walking distance, the room is spotless, the bedding is incredible and I even had a balcony overlooking the pool with palm trees. Great stay!”

• Toilet had a slow leak, kept running on and off

“The entire staff was great. Almost everyone there seem to be really happy. Location was perfect for my stay. Hotel was clean. Security was present and visible in the parking lot at night.”

• I inadvertanly left something very valuable behind and they state they can not find it..

“The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable and a good bargain for the price. The staff was friendly and professional, and accomodating to our need of two beds and a rollaway. In fact, everything was ideal until I left my laptop behind and the cleaning staff state that they never saw it...”

• The courtyard and pool area was beautifully landscaped.
• The neighborhood was bad and the pool was closed all day Sunday.

“The room value was fair. The rooms were nice and comfortable, however, the safety of the neighborhood left much to be desired. I did not feel safe leaving my vehicle in the parking lot, nor did I fell safe walking to the neighboring restaurants. Another disappointment was the pool being closed all day Sunday, as that was one perk of the hotel.”

• It did not look like it was in a very safe neighborhood.

“We checked in late and the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean and both beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. My only concern was the neighborhood surrounding the hotel which looked seedy.”

• The breakfast buffet was very good.
• The security was very good, but i got the feeling that the hotel was not in the best area of town because there had to be so much security.

“I left my Do not Disturb" sign on, because I was working in the room most of the day. When I went to leave the room, there was a bag with new towels, coffee, and toiletries on my door. I do this at hotels all the time and never before has this happened."”

• The Staff was very friendly and accomadating. The hotel was clean and the room was very nice.
• Their 'Continental Breakfast' was $8.95.

“We had to wait longer than we expected for the shuttle to pick us up but once we arrived, we were met by a friendly staff. The room was clean. ”

“The only negative was that I was supposed to have a non-smoking room, which I confirmed with the hotel about 1 week prior to my arrival, and upon checking into my room, found that it was a smoking room. Hotel was not able to move me into a non-smoking room until the next day. Other than that, all accommodations were very nice and staff was friendly.”
