• Computer room with free internet service, free breakfast.
• Ongoing construction, fee for self parking.

“I was placed in a smoking room upon arrival. When I asked to be changed immediately due to small children and allergies, we were told we had to wait until the next morning; and I had to personally see to it as no one on staff made the effort the next day.”

• Air conditioning unit was a little noisy.

“Very nice and helpful staff. One receptionist advised us on good dining locations and as we arrived back to the hotel just as she was driving away at the end of her shift, she went out of her way to come ask us how our experience was. Very thoughtful but memorable courtesy.”

• It was very pretty and clean. Pool was very nice and open until late.
• They don't know what they are doing.

• It was convenient to where I needed to be for the weekend.
• Rooms need to be updated- better beds.

“If large groups of high school students are staying there, they should be all booked on the same floor. Please don't mix them in with the other guest. It was very difficult to sleep with the noise. Other than that our stay was fine.”

• Nice pool and lobby, good service, handy convenience store, great comp breakfast.
• Smell in room and microwave was bad, room decor was very dated, dirty drinking glass in room.

“Overall, great value. The room we stayed-in was very dated but the hotel as a whole has been renovated very nicely. Pleasantly surprised to find full buffet and made to order breakfast included. Service was very good, great location and access to interstate. Outdoor pool looked great but didn't get a chance to use it.”

• The breakfast buffet made a big difference in increasing the star level. Fairly nice hotel but needs to be updated.
• Room could have been cleaner. Vents dirty, soap dish dirty.

“Restaurant staff was very pleasant. Pool/Hot tub were nice. Carpet, furniture and paint in room need to be updated. The kitchenette was absolutely nothing more than a small microwave and fridge.”

• The spacious rooms were wonderful!
• The food at the breakfast buffet was not very good either day we ate at it.

• Loved the 2 BR, 2 BA suites. We could all stay together and each has our own BA.
• The kitchen was gross and in definite need of upgrading.

“The hotel seemed to put most of its $ into the lobby, which was very nice. But, the rooms could use some updating.”

• The view was breathtaking from the 16th floor room balcony.
• They charged my card when I didnt order anything.

• Staff upgraded my room at no charge. Clean room with great beds.
• Furniture in the rooms (couches and chairs) looked very stylishly outdated.

“Very clean room with exceptional beds. Gorgeous view of the city of Tampa. Close to airport. Beautiful lobby. Professional, courteous, excellent staff. My only negative comment would be that the furniture in our room appeared to be manufactured in the mid 1970's style wise. It was all in excellent condition and cleans, but the colors were orange, green, and yellow, with brown leather cushions on the couch. Very old fashioned looking. But overall an excellent hotel.”

• Separate seating/lounge area a plus, full breakfast bar.
• Everything was great.

“Hotel is at a great location, close to 2 local malls, within walking distance. Hotel is aptly named embassy suites, my room certainly felt like a suite. I was expecting a complimentary breakfast of juice/coffee/Danish, but instead the hotel provided a full breakfast bar, and even a short-order grill cook for fresh and customized omelets! Enjoyed my stay, will visit this hotel again, for sure!”

• The rooms were icily decorated and conducive to work focus. The beds, pillows, and linens were fabulous!
• The staff acted some bothered by requests for preparing paid copies.

• Location is great, rooms are large, beds are comfortable, restaurant good.
• Rooms need upgraded furniture, carpet, curtains, wallpaper, etc.

“Although the location is good, rooms are large, and beds are comfortable, the furniture, appliances, and interior decorating require upgrade. I stayed 3 nights in Tampa and one night in Altamonte Springs. The Altamonte Springs Embassy Suites was twice as nice and half the cost.”

“This is a great place to stay. I used my Hilton Rewards points. We stayed on the 10th floor in what appeared to be a newly remodeled room. It was spacious. A room for the wet bar or kitchen area, a room for the living area, a room for the bedroom, a separate vanity area, and a comfortable bathroom. There were plenty of pillows on the bed and a decorative pillow. The bed was comfortable. The sleeping room was quiet even though we were right by the elevator, which worried me at first. The living area was a bit noisier because there is a small balcony, but that is not anything to complain about! The only agitation I had was the first woman who was to check me in. I had driven with my family from Cocoa Beach, so I was very casually dressed, and therefore the desk clerk was a bit snotty. I ignored her, another person who was pleasant took over my check-in, and the rest of the staff was pleasant. The first clerk should have known better, but then I am from the Midwest, and we know that if you flash what you have, then that is probably all that you have.”

“We live on the east coast of FL and just went to Tampa for a concert and needed a place to stay overnight. We were very very pleased with the Embassy Suite Hotel! Our room was huge and very clean. There were complimentary drinks in the evening. The bartender was very helpful and friendly. And in the morning the complimentary full breakfast, cooked to order omelet maker chef was great! We loved our brief stay.”

“Embassy Suites is superb, in every department. All the staff are friendly and helpful right away. The food is fantastic. The happy hour is super. The breakfast buffet is more than abundant and the only tiny criticism we had was that the pool is quite shallow.”
