• The inside of the hotel was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff was great.
• The hotel is not far from things to do, but too far to get there on foot.

“I highly recommend this hotel. Not much is close to get to on foot, but they were so great about driving you anywhere most anywhere. We stayed here before going on a cruise. They only charged us $20 to take us to the docks. They drive us to dinner and to the mall for free. Stay here if you get the chance!”

“Hotel is a convenient free shuttle ride to the cruise terminal. The public spaces are clean and pretty. Rooms are nice and spacious. We were very pleased with this hotel.”

• Parking. If you have to park in garage, it's about 1/4 mile walk to lobby.

“Not family friendly at all! May be great for a business traveler, but not for families. A bottle of water will cost you $3.50-$4.50 at this hotel. Unfriendly staff, I assume because I wasn't wearing a suit & tie. No towels @ pool, the whole time we were there. We stayed @ the "Quality Inn Midtown" (formerly Economy Lodge) the 1st half of our trip, it was twice as good, for 1/2 the price.”

• The bed was very comfortable. Room well appointed and clean.
• When calling for shuttle pick up by the hotel, the woman at the front desk hung up on my sister.

“I booked this hotel for the first night of my stay in Tampa. I felt very comfortable, helped by most people with a wonderful attitude, enjoyed the restaurant. Look forward to trying the pool on my next visit. I appreciated the cleanliness, nice staff, lovely room and a very comfortable bed.”

• Great location, easy to find, quiet, nice lobby.
• No free internet in rooms, no free continental breakfast0, dirty mirror, dirty comforter, small room.

“This hotel is not a 3 or 4 star. There was not free wireless or wired internet in the rooms, there was no free continental breakfast, staff was friendly but didn't explain anything unless you asked, room was a little dirty i.e. the mirror was scratched and worn and the comforter had what looked like a blood stain on it and the towels and wash clothes were rough (cheap). The room had two tiny beds (not queens) and the TV was old. I expected a flat screen at a hotel that costs $350+ a night! No microwave or fridge in the room either. Pretty much the bare necessities. The room definitely served its purpose, but I expected a lot more out of a 3 star hotel.”

• The people that work there very polite and very helpful it was are first time with the hotel.
• Nothing, loved are stay.

• The location was great.

“The hotel was in a great location to everything. The pool and the gym were very well kept and very nice to use. The only issue I had was that we found old food and materials stuck to plates and utensils on a couple of occasions.”

• The lobby was very nice and I really liked the Bath & Body Works amenities in the room.
• There was a used Band-aid on my room door and the room smelled like fresh paint. I was disappointed in the quality of the room.

“This hotel seems to have recently been renovated. The lobby and restaurant are very nice, but I was disappointed with the room. There was a Band-aid stuck to my door when I got to the room and the room smelled like fresh paint. Our second night, the keys for our room didn't work and we had to go to the front desk twice to get the problem solved. The staff was overall friendly, but I was disappointed with the quality of the room.”

• Rooms were old with dated, dirty looking carpets. Old bathrooms. Pushy housekeepers.

“Overall the hotel met our needs. Clean comfortable bed with nice sheets. The housekeepers kept trying to kick us out of our room early even though checkout was not until noon. That was kind of annoying.”

• I liked the views out of the windows in our room and the spool and spa area.
• I did not like the bathroom. There was not enough light in the bathroom.

• Lobby was nice, sold star bucks coffee.
• Room was dated, room service took 1 hour, forgot to take room number down when it was ordered.

“Room decor was dated, however was clean. as stated above we ordered room service and were told that it would be there in 35 minutes, one hour later we called and were told that the person taking order forgot to right down room number-the upside of this was the dinner was then given to us for free. I thought that was nice of them to do.”

• Toilet running and making loud noises which management could not fix during my stay.

“I would probably not stay at this hotel again. The carpet was worn and the bathroom was old. The major problem was the toilet which makes noises ranging from running water to loud eruptions every 5-20 minutes that result in water in the bowl bubbling up in an fashion resembling a volcanic lava flow. Management was notified of this problem and sent an engineer to work on it the next day. The engineer replaced the flapper, but the problem persisted.”

“Found the hotel was what I expected, except for the musty odor. We asked for a room change twice, and finally the front desk upgraded our room, but the odor remained.”

“Location was great for the purpose of just having a place to sleep with easy access to the highway and was convenient. It was clean, updated and I was blown away by how nice the front desk staff was to me. Upon check in I asked a question about a restaurant nearby and they took it upon themselves to call make a reservation and notify me with a confirmation number.”

“I needed to spend the night near the airport and was very pleased with my decision to stay at this hotel. It was close to shopping centers and places to eat. The outside of the hotel didn't look too inviting but was very pleased once I entered. Cleanliness is very important to me and the hotel met my expectations. The bathroom could have been cleaner though. Other than that, very nice hotel.”

• The staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly.
• There was nothing I did not like about this hotel.

“The rooms were clean, the location was good, the staff was outstanding. Made me feel like the most important guest at the hotel. When my flight was moved from a morning to evening flight they held my bags for me and provided transportation until I was ready to go to the airport. Will stay there every time I go to Tampa and will suggest my friends and family so the same.”

• At check-in the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My grandchildren loved the pool area.
• The entrance to the facility. Not easy access from main roads.

“We were a little apprehensive about the hotel, since we had never heard of the quorum before. My son-in-law was leaving for the middle east the next day, and we were looking for a place to stay close to the airport. We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean and easily accessible by the handicapped. The staff was friendly and helpful when we had needs. The pool and spa Ares is lovely, and large enough to accommodate the hotel guests. I will recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a place to stay in Tampa.”

“Overall a good experience, we were sailing in the Carnival Legend the next day and wanted a hotel that was near the port, which the Quorum was (about a 5 minute drive). Pool area was very nice and enjoyable.”

• The staff was fabulous. Big smiles and willing to go the extra mile.

“Upon arriving for check-in, we were greeted with a smile by Ana. Stacy, a manager, handed us bottles of water and sent me for a complimentary chair massage. Afterward, we had a complimentary drink in the cafe before heading up to our clean, comfortable room. The dining room food is delicious! We ate all but one of our meals there. I highly recommend the "q" burger. Every hotel employee had a smile and was so willing to help make my stay wonderful! It was truly a pleasurable beginning to a great vacation. I will definitely stay at the quorum hotel - Tampa again in the near future.”

• You could tell it was just remodeled.
• Could use an entrance on main street. Only side street entrance.

• The pool access is poor and it was being renovated.

“Excellent location. Close to airport and two major shopping areas. Would recommend this to others. Stayed one night with my two younger children and given proximity to other things the hotel was more a hub for going out. Access to pool is poor and compounded by current renovation. Enough to do such that the kids were not disappointed. Price was outstanding.”

• It was not ready yet with renovations.

“My coworker's room had not been cleaned when we checked in - so they moved him. My room did not have a hair dryer or an alarm clock in it. Breakfast took 45 minutes (but they did comp it). Just seemed a little rough.”

“The quorum was a delightful hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was very good. My husband and I were taking our final trip before he is stationed overseas, and it provided a great balance of comfort and elegance that allowed us to relax and really enjoy our time together.”
