“I would not choose this hotel again. I did not feel comfortable opening the drapes, as there were offices directly across the way. In fact, we forfeited our last pre-paid night, as I felt so claustrophobic in that room. Possibly
OK for flight crews and business travelers.”

• Room comfort, cleanliness, decor, superb; easy access to shopping, restaurants.
• Location, next to elevators; no exterior view to outside; room seemed dusty.

“Really enjoyed our visit; very comfortable room with superb decor; bed was delightful. Easy to find in Tampa; super location next to mall and shopping / restaurants. Seemed more suited to business travelers; large interior foyers / fountains, really pretty. Most rooms opened up to interior views versus outside views. Definitely enjoyed our stay!”

• The hotel decor and customer was great. The bed linen was great and the room was spacious and clean.

• The hotel was very clean and rooms were very nice.
• You can hear through the walls. Noisy hallways.

“The hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly. Nice hotel for a 1 or 2 day get away. Not recommended for your vacation destination. Did not use the pool, but it was not very desirable and small. Our room and bed was very comfortable and met our expectations. Our room overlooked the courtyard and we could see business offices across from our room. This was okay since it was a weekend, but would not like this if it was a weekday. We could hear through the walls and were woken up by an alarm next to us at 6:00 AM. We also could hear people walking and talking in hallway very early in the morning. Heard someone knocking on a door across the hall and talking loudly at 6:00 AM.”

• The quality of the room exceeded my expectations.
• I really can't think of anything, but I did hear that the breakfast buffet quality and speed of service was slow, according to another guest I met.

“This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was large, well appointed, and very comfortable. I especially loved the separate dressing table where I could sit and put on my make-up and my contacts and keep all of these things neatly in a drawer. The bathroom was large and, like the room, beautiful!”

• Extremely clean, well-appointed, comfortable beds, good coffee bar in the lobby.
• Everything was great; nothing bad to say.

“Very friendly, helpful check-in and bell staff. Good location. Clean and comfortable. Had a luxury feel. Don Shula's Steak House (one of the top 5 in the country) is located in the hotel. Free shuttle to airport.”

• Lobby, down feather pillows, location.
• Cleaning staff waking us up at 8 am by allowing doors to slam and extremely noisy while cleaning restrooms by slamming seats, etc.

“The only major problem was that I was unable to sleep in due to the excessive noise by the cleaning staff at the crack of dawn!”

• It was spectacular. Shulas steakhouse was incredible,
• NOTHING. It was fabulous.

“Other than a luxury resort this was the nicest place I have ever stayed. I did not want to leave. It was clean, upscale and trendy. I ate at Shulas Steakhouse and it was very close to Ruths Chris. It was fabulous! The decor and ambiance were incredibly romantic.”

• Excellent location and facility.
• Very pricey hotel mini bar.

“The hotel is very clean and the staff was quite friendly. The rooms are cleaned twice a day, so if you do not have your room serviced during the first morning go around by housekeeping, you can still have it cleaned in the afternoon. The rooms have a large bathroom which provides great space to move around in. The king size bed was very comfortable and had a pillow top mattress. The room was spacious and had contemporary furniture and decor.”

• Our room was very close to an adjoining office space. We needed to keep our drapes closed all the time.

“For the price, we would stay here again. BUT, a quality, heated, inviting pool is a very high priority, and the Intercontinental did not meet that standard.”

• Close to the stadium.
• Pool was terrible.

“The room was excellent, clean and modern. The only thing was the pool that was a negative. so small, only a few can sit around it. I am not sure who would plan a pool so small in Florida. The lounge/bar area was great. Cozy places to watch the games, food available from Shulas. Enjoyed the combo of business and hotel and the courtyard.”

• It was beautiful.

“The hotel was absolutely beautiful. We asked for maps or area attractions but no one was able to help us w/that. We had to go to a restaurant to find any flyers. We figured it was because this hotel was set up more for business travelers. Hotel needs to update their picture of the pool. Picture of the pool on their website is very deceiving compared to what it really looks like.”

• Easy to find. Close to highways. Beautiful room, lobby, and pool.
• Even though we were far from the elevators, we could still hear a hum every time they were used.

“I would gladly stay again. It was beautiful inside and out. We felt very secure and safe. Parking garage a little dark and I don't know if it had security camers. Our room and the TV were great. The bed and pillows were extreamly comfortable. Very pleasent staff.”

• Room was very nice, clean, and comfortable.
• The pool needs major renovations. Felt like an economy hotel pool, the rest of the common areas were nice.

“Overall the hotel and experience was nice. The pool located on the 9th floor was very crowded and had limited chair space. My husband and I had to wait until people left to get a spot. It is in major need of updating. Pool seemed to be out of place with the rest of the hotel.”

“Our stay in this hotel was not a good expierence. Our room was located on the 10th floor. Not usually a problem, but with one working elevator out of three, moving in and out of the room was a challenge. In addition the room was extremely noisy, as a result of the close proximty to the only working elevator. As a bonus we recieved a bill for 52.00 bucks for the mini bar, although no consumption of products took place.”

• Had to wait a few minutes for the valet guy, but that was so minor.

“Loved the hotel. The lady that guided me to the hotel spent over 15 minutes helping me find the hotel after I got lost. Customer service was top notch. Beds were great as was the shower. Only thing I would change would be to put a Jacuzzi in the pool area and have the pool & Jacuzzi open a little later for people who had a long day. And I loved the fact that you could self-park and were not forced to valet your car. Two thumbs up!”

• The rooms were spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable.
• The self parking is not safe, no security and not clean around the elevators leading to the lobby.

“We truly enjoyed our second staff at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable. During this last stay, the bathroom sink leaked the whole time, we called and they send someone to fix it but it still leaked. Also, when in the shower, the water would remain in the tub, took a long time to drain. Overall, a great place.”

• Nothing! I loved everything!

“Very attractive hotel and rooms. Super comfortable bed! LCD flat screen TVs! Very spacious room and bathroom! Great location-across from the mall/movies/restaurants. About 10 minutes from Busch Gardens! Would definitely stay here again! Tip: you can bring iPod, video game consoles, etc. There is a special plug box for all of your entertainment needs!”

• You had a ceiling to floor view from the window of the outside.
• The sink was too high for my children to reach.
