• Loved the cookies and the starbucks coffee in the morning. The location was perfect for visiting the Biltmore Estate, the Village and downtown Ashevil.
• The bathroom was on the small side and the tv could be updated to HD flat screen.

“My husband and I stayed here for a vacation October 2009. The room was very clean, the staff great and the cookies were awesome! Loved waking up and getting Starbucks coffee in the lobby. I would have to agree that the bathroom was kinda small if two people were trying to get ready at the same time. However it was clean. The bed was comfy. The tv could use updating.”

• They made us feel welcome and at home. The arm cookies were an over the top nice touch too.
• On our 2nd stay there, one of the day desk staff was not as friendly.

“We enjoyed staying at double tree at Baltimore. The rooms were very nice and quiet. Beds are extremely comfortable and it is a very clean hotel. It was a minute away from the attractions we came to see and very easy to access from the interstate. The staff with the exception of one day person were extremely friendly and courteous.”

“Easy access to the Biltmore and convenient to downtown. The room was average size, very nice beds and linens. The pool and hot tub were clean and had lots of towels. Hot chocolate chip cookies at check in is a nice touch.”

• We had ants in our room

“Good location, just off the side of the highway, but several miles from downtown Asheville where the action is. The room was great, except we had an issue with several ants crawling around the room. We mentioned it to the hotel and they did investigate, but unfortunately because our luggage was not packed up, they couldn't spray. Nonetheless, it would be better if ants did not get in the room to begin with.”

• There is nothing negative.

“Checkin was a breeze, which is not always the case with a Priceline stay. The checkin staff member was very friendly, gave me an EXCELLENT restaurant recommendation (with a marked map), and gave my family fresh, warm chocolate chip cookies. Our room was very clean and suited our needs perfectly. Checkout was extremely simple, and the front desk staff member (also very friendly) gave my son another cookie.”

“Great location if you are visiting the Biltmore estate. We were there to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway on our motorcycle and it was located close to it too. The hotel staff was very friendly and the porter went out of his way to show us a good place to park our vehicle and motorcyle trailer. Hotel was in a tranquil setting in the middle of town.”

• Easy check in and out, convenient to my destination, clean.

“This hotel is super close to Biltmore, and several restaurants, though there is a TGI Fridays within. A traffic light at the entrance provides easy access in and out. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, this was perfect for a short stay (which was my purpose). I would stay here again for a short or extended stay.”

• Conveniently located to Asheville attractions. Real Nice!
• Elevator was broken, had to carry luggage down two flights or walk a long way to other elevator.

• Complimentary cookies at check-in.
• The suite did not have a king size bed; only a queen.

“Excellent hotel. I would stay here again without hesitation. Next time I will ask for a suite with a king size bed and a refrigerator. Hotel was beautiful and very clean. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful.”

• They charged us for the stay also and overdrew our account!

“The location is very convenient to Biltmore, very clean and public areas are very spacious and nice. The afternoon staff was very friendly; the morning staff not as nice. The rooms are a little on the small side. The temperature in the room is locked and cannot be adjusted. Excellent Wolfgang Puck's in room coffee and hot tea and fresh hot cookies!”

• The staff was excellent. Very friendly.
• Awful room for the price. Pullout couch was second bed. Beds very uncomfortable.

“The staff is excellent, with great Doubletree cookies included. Everything seemed great until we got to the room. Our "double beds" meant one bed and one pull out couch in a tiny room. This is Asheville, not New York City. The mattresses were unbearable. There was no room to move. I was very upset to have paid in such a disappointing hotel. I will never stay there again.”

• Charming, great location, very responsive management when minor concerns were discussed.
• Maid service lacked attention to detail, resolved to my satisfaction by manager.

“Excellent facility with on-grounds dining available, knowledgeable staff, clean and well-maintained, great Asheville location, unless one needs to be in the downtown area of the city. Well-lit and safety-conscious, attractive decor. Near to both the Baltimore Estate and easy access to Asheville. I would strongly recommend to any traveler and I plan to return for a future visit; management will arrange tours and other access to local events or personal requests.”
