• No major complaints.

“Although there was only one person not two registering, and I am not handicapped and did not request a handicapped room, upon check-in. They very kindly reassigned me to a "normal" room. My clothes dragged on the floor on the "short" closet in the handicapped room, so I requested the change.”

• I only stayed 2 days.
• The rude and inconsiderate workers.

“At first glace, this may be a place that seems to fit a modest need, but contrary to your belief you may get a nice surprise at 6:00a.m. Like the cleaning staff conversing at an extremely loud level outside of your room.”

• Local was good, too bad area is depressed.
• Very dirty rooms.

“We booked 4 suites in this hotel for a funeral in St Pete. My room was terribly dirty and both A/C units did not work, my sis in laws room had a broken door, and vomit hidden in the made up bed so my nephew jumped into the bed. The management has lots of excuses and is short on resolution, simply stating that I should have awakened my 3 small kids at 1AM when we returned to the hotel to find no A/C so it is my fault I stayed there! The maintenance person showed up in my room as I was leaving only to argue with me that the reason the A/C could not get cold was because the door was open. Not when we were trying to sleep! I was with no sleep at all and not in the mood to talk him through HVAC repairs. According to our in town relatives this is a very seedy part of town in the evening and after 1 night we were gone. I took some picks to send to corporate sine this is not the norm for comfort inns at all based on my experience. I hate to see this since good service and well kept properties are slowly becoming something the average family guy can not afford. They lost 3 of our 4 suites due to the conditions and argumentative Nature of the staff and we went to a beach front property to try to make it worth while for the kids and finally get some sleep in a clean room. I would suggest avoiding this property regardless of other reviews, there is a similarly priced Hampton Inn down the street if need be that is up to their usual standards and worlds better than this! Now I only hope I can get some satisfaction from corporate since it is their Name on this awful hotel making them look bad.”

• It was close to the hospital.
• The fake plants in the lobby looked like they were dying.

“Other than being close to children hospital, nothing good to say. When we checked out the person behind the counter was clipping his toe nails! He held out him hand for the keys. I put them on the counter.”

• Location to Tropicana Field.
• My truck was stolen.

• Friendly staff.
• Room condition and no water pressure in shower.

“Hotel is in dire need of renovation. Our room was billed a "newer" room, so I would hate to see an "older" one! The carpet was frayed, the bed was hard as a rock, the bathroom was awful - no water pressure in shower and the floor and ceiling both need replaced. The complimentary breakfast was good, but the seating area was very small so people had to wait. It was a 20 minute drive to the beach. We had booked for 3 nights, but checked out after the first night and found a nice hotel at the beach and were much happier.”
