• Clean, great airport location with shuttle, comfortable beds/pillows, great staff.
• Continental breakfast not included / not available. I'm a light breakfast eater their breakfast menu was to big.

“I can say of the complaints, is they must have worked. Hotel staff was 10 out of 10. Working for a slot machine manufacturer, I spend, on average over 50 nights a year in motels/hotels, including many of the top chains. While on vacation this time, I found no complaints. Staff was extremely accommodating. Clean, freshly remodeled, very comfortable beds with high thread count bedding and nice pillows. Things to consider this location is super convenient to the St Petersburg/Clearwater Airport Pie - not Tampa, and there is no free continental breakfast. If you are a light morning eater, bring some pop tarts or like. There is an in-room coffee maker. Perhaps not ideal for extended stays in the Tampa area due to the distance, but perfect for St Petersburg, Id stay again.”

• Bath & Body Works toiletries, elegant décor.
• Noisy, thin walls, faulty room keys (demagnetization), airplanes were loud, noisy air conditioner - impossible to sleep!

“We stayed here after an event at the Raymond James Stadium. The hotel is a bit difficult to get to in heavy traffic because the traffic patterns make it nearly impossible to get into the right lane in time to turn. We got very little sleep due to the thin walls and being able to hear the guests in both adjoining rooms. In addition, the air conditioner was very loud and would make me jump every time it came on. The airport is extremely close, and every plane that takes off sounds like it's coming through the room itself. We also had problems accessing our room when we came back from the concert - apparently if you keep your key anywhere close to a cell phone it becomes demagnetized. The room itself was nice to look at, but trying to sleep was next to impossible.”

• There were a number of used food trays left in the hall for 2-3 days!

• Ambiance was nice. Fast elevators, nice! Friendly staff and nice carpets.
• Small bathroom.

“No laundry facilities. Paper were not delivered on several occasions. Internet working 1/2 way through week, they had me speak with the service for 1.5 hours to try and fix it.”

• The staff at the hotel were great.
• The room was small.

“The staff at the hotel was accommodating and friendly. They had a good selection of TV channels - more than several other hotels in the area. The lobby looks fancy. The internet works well and it is free. However, the room is very small. It is probably the smallest I have ever stayed in. It also gets very bad cell phone signal. I was disappointed because the fitness center was closed for renovation.”

• Style and overall appearance.
• Front desk staff not helpful, drilling in next room at 10 am whirlpool too hot and pool not heated, cleaning staff unfriendly, breakfast buffet poor.

• I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful and comfortable the rooms were. I would love to stay here again. The staff was very accommodating.
• No Complaints! Our stay was perfect!

“Beautiful!! Bed were so comfy! The bathrooms have granite counter tops and are kept spotless by the staff. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet is delicious and a great value. The hotel is clean and the food from the bar is amazing.”

“The hotel was under renovation, and 45 minutes from the first choice location. When it was suppose to be right next to the location. The front desk person gets me lost and sent me 20 minutes out of my way, by giving me the wrong directions, and I barely got an apology. This was a very disappointing experience.”

• Morning manager gave us free breakfast for having to stay in a bad room.
• Tried to boot us from our room, then put us in very substandard room.

“Rated 5's as we were nearly booted from our room (they tried to put us in a Best Western next door that opened to the outside which I do not do!) upon check in, then with some insistence on my part, were given a very substandard room the first night. At morning, I requested a room change and mgr gave us free breakfast for our trouble and new room was very sufficient.”

• Easy access to local highways.
• Located at the end of the airport runway!

“Front desk personnel were friendly. Housekeeping was inconsistent-coffee pot was dirty when we checked in; bed wasn't made after our first night but was good the rest of the visit.”

“I guess there was a free breakfast but no one bothered to tell us upon check in. The bed was big but the room was cramped. I had wanted to be closer to the beach but instead we were 10 miles or a 40$ cab ride. The surrounding restaurants were not so good. There was nothing to do around the hotel.”

• The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean.
• Our window was leaking because of the rain.

“The location of the hotel is great for business and leisure travelers. It is a close drive to area attractions and shops. I think the hotel is in the midst of renovations because the room was very nice but the bathroom area looked a bit older, but was clean. Although close to the airport, the noise wasn't too bad.”

• Old hotel, rips in carpet. No room service on my room one day without explanation, small airport behind hotel.

“Old, unattractive hotel behind an airport. Not worth the rate that I paid. This is a low 2 star hotel. Rips in the carpet, no maid service on Sunday, small pool, coldest water ever been in. Pool so close to buildings that the sun in the pool area gone by 2 pm. Realize it was January when I was there but come on. Staff was nice. Did not want to try their food though. No continental breakfast.”

• The bed was brand new and I slept like a baby.
• The spa was broken and the staff indicated it has been broken for a long time and will not be fixed soon.

“The bed was great. The bathroom faucet was noted attached to the counter. The toilet actually rocked when you sat or got off. The carpet in the hallway smelled. I would rate this hotel a solid two star and no higher.”

• It was really dirty and old and needed a lot of maintenance.

“This hotel was an utter disappointment. It was not well kept and the staff was unprofessional. Our room was not cleaned on one day. We asked for towels atleast and they said we are short staffed and come get it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Very nice lobby area. Business center with computer access.
• This Holiday Inn does not offer free breakfast like most Holiday Inn's do.

“Overall good hotel. The location next to the airport made for some loud nights with the jets taking off and landing. The location to any beaches creates a long drive (over 20 minutes) to get to the ocean which was more than we anticipated. Good access to restaurants and highways. I would recommend the hotel, but not if you are staying in the St. Pete area with the anticipation of spending time at the beach.”

• No microwave in room, didn't find out until last day that we should have receive a breakfast voucher daily.

We stayed on the executive floor which was decent but in need of painting to freshen things up. The two elevators are slow. It would be nice if the pool were heated. The buffet breakfast was a good value for about $8.50. Also the free wifi was most welcome. ”

• Rooms were not even close to the star rating given.

“This was a complete disappointment. We needed a comfortable hotel near the hospital because of a terminal illness in the family. We wanted to be as comfortable as possible despite the circumstances. Not even close. Need to also somehow be able to indicate whether or not need two beds or king bed. Very misleading.”
