• Great location right outside of Cesar point.
• The hotel layout is a little strange as well as the layout of the parking lot.

“Its a great place to stay if you don't want to spend the major bucks to stay inside cedar point. Its very close and reasonably nice for the price.”

• The convenience and the proximity to the park.

• No elevator, very small, bad neighborhood, old and just repainted.

• I did not like anything about this hotel.
• Filthy rooms, unsafe, bad security, dirty ugly furnishings.

“No lock on one of the outside doors. Filthy conditions in the room - black smudges all over the walls. Disgusting and dirty chairs. Paint chipping on all the door frames. Window well covered in dirt and ceiling was chipping and cracked.”

• This hotel was conveniently located near Cedar Point, which was great after a long day.
• It really could be up dated, but all in all it was fine.

• The unavailable late check out and attitude of counter.

“After a fantastic day at Cedar Point, we were exhausted. Upon arrival to the Best Western hotel at around 11:30pm, we requested a room with a King size bed, they remarked they did have any available and yet the parking lot was nearly empty, so we settled for 2 dbl beds. The room seemed clean at first, but upon unwinding, found beer bottle caps and wrappers scattered under bedding and dressers. The bedding was less than desirable. When the AC was on a mildew odor was emitted. The shower was nice, not very roomy though and the door was a hassle.”

• It was close to Cedar Point park.
• It was dated and in need of repair.

“The hotel accomplished what we needed, which was a place to sleep when not at the park. The beds were firm, comfortable and facilities functioned fine. Other than that, it was disappointing. The place appeared to need some upkeep. The courtyard around the pool needed attention there were al to of cracked and missing pavers. It looked like with a little upkeep it could be nice again.”

“I would never go to this hotel again. This is not a 2.5 star. With all fairness it's actually 1 star or less. That's being really nice. If you like dirty and stinky rooms please enjoy your stay.”

• They reserved our rooms next to each other with adjoining doors so we were able to enjoy our visit with the rest of our family.
• Directions to get to the hotel were a little vague, due more to road layout then hotel.

“We had a nice stay, the staff was helpful and polite, and the rooms were clean and stocked with what we needed. It was conveniently located for restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to others visiting the area.”

• I hated this hotel!
• This hotel was terrible and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

“First I requested non smoking and they put me in smoking and after moving to another room I discovered the window locks had been taken off, so again they moved me, the third room also had the locks taken off. I could break into my room through the outside! To fix the problem the bolted the window!”

• The laundry room was handy for traveling with the family and they were able to give us adjoining rooms.
• Filthy carpet in hallways also smelled of stale smoke.

“I would not return to this particular hotel, although the beds were comfortable enough and the bathroom appeared clean, there was a large stain on the side of one mattress/box spring. Didn't want to know what that was from!”

• Room was very dirty, dirty footprints in the bathtub, lamp was broken, shampoo had already been used, door keys didnt work, and hairdryer was sticky.

“The overall stay at this hotel was bad. The room was not clean, the shampoo was already used by the previous client, dirty footprints in the tub, lamp was broken, smelled badly, hairdryer had something black and sticky all over it, the room keys did not work when we first got there and you had to go through the hotel lobby to get to the pool.”

• Close to Ceder Point, close to restaurants and stores.
• Pool was cold, water a little cloudy.

“Staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean. Continental breakfast was quite limited but it was free, and adequate. Not luxury, but ok for a family on a short visit. Advertised wireless internet but no reception in our room.”

• Wireless HS Internet did not work-poor signal. The hotel had a moldy smell - very small beds for queen - more like full.

“Location was great but way overpriced. Must use lobby to get wireless Internet connection even with a booster. Signal too weak to pick up in room. Would stay again if lower price was accepted.”

• Near Cedar Point where my wife and I were getting away for a weekend together.
• Dated rooms, TV that was old and distorted, color couldn't be adjusted.

“The first room we were given had a broken door latch we put the key in and it just swung open. The second room was supposed to be non smoking but had definitely been smoked in before plus it had 2 full beds. Since my wife and I were on a little getaway together without our children we requested a king in a room that didn't smell. The "only one" we were told that was in non smoking was a suite. That would cost 20 more dollars. I dumbly agreed. There were better rooms for cheaper online. We talked to the front desk about it. "Sorry, I can't do anything. You'll have to talk to a manager." In the 3 days we were there we tried 3 times to talk to a manager. No one helped us. We don't always expect that but we really didn't expect this either. You are a great company and for this reason my wife and I thought we should let you know.”
