• Location and grounds.
• Lobby smelled musty in the building we were in.

“Grounds were beautiful, did not eat at the resort. Lobby was hot and musty in our building. Ice machine on a different floor. Not where I would stay again for the price.”

• I liked everything.
• It was not on the waterfront, though the water is close.

“Although this place is not on the water and I do not like golf, it has 3 or 4 pools, it's quiet and close to the main drag (Rt 19), where you can get anything under the sun. All in all, easily one of the nicest places I have ever stayed.”

• Little bit of a drive to beach.

“The rooms were very clean and comfortable and they had a very nice pool for the kids. It was conveniently located to restaurants and shopping and if you golf it is probably for you. If you are only interested in the beach, then maybe not a good location.”

• Overpriced. Resort food not very good.

“For what the hotel offered, this hotel is overpriced. The description makes this resort sound like it offers allot, but there is not much to do, other than golf. But if the weather is bad, you're screwed.”

“My wife and I stayed at Innsbruck Resort on the last day of Florida trip. I told the employee at the front desk that I wished we had more time to spend here since the nights stay was very comfortable.”

• Too spread out and inconvenient to get around.

“Hotel is older and more run down than I expected. The grounds are so spread out; it is not a good place for a solo traveler. Grounds are dark at night and deserted. As a woman, I prefer a traditional hotel with a lobby are.”

• The variety of things to do on as well as near the resort.
• The view from our room.

“We loved the resort however, we did feel that the resort treated us like "it" customers and gave us one of their poorer rooms. The majority of the rooms had a balcony or a patio. We got neither. We were in a room with only a window and with a view of the maintenance building for the pool. We also asked to be in the same building as the other people in our group and they weren't accommodating although the resort was not at all close to being booked.”

• Beautiful surroundings, lots of restaurants on site, fantastic kids pool with waterslides.
• Buildings are older and could use some remodeling, however everything was very clean.

“WOW - this is our second stay at this resort and we will go back again soon. Amazing golf, excellent restaurants and an outstanding Lockless Monster kids pool with two waterslides! Our kids (and my husband) have never been more satisfied all in one place. Resort is also not too far of a drive to the beach, zoo, aquarium, sponge dock, shopping, MOSI museum too.”

• I travel with children. They have a big shallow pool with sprinkles and slides for the kids that was very relaxing. Shuttle bus. No driving needed.
• The decoration was a little 70's type.

“Great hotel. Close enough, secluded enough. Lots of pools, Golf course and children activities. A shuttle will take you within the resort and also to the nearest beach so you do not have to drive. Clean, comfortable beds, soft sheets and pillows. Nice towels. Extra towels in the pool so you don't have to bring yours.”

“It was family friendly and clean. The outside is older and not updated and the hallways are dark and dingy looking but our room was updated and really nice and clean. We had a great time.”

“The Westin at Innisbrook was a superb hotel with a great location between the beaches at Fred Howard Park and Honeymooners Island. The "Heavenly Beds" were just that! The best I've ever slept in. The Loch Ness Monster Pool was a blast with water slides (2) and waterfalls and a great poolside cafe/lounge. All in all a great side trip if you are doing Disney.”

• Our family loved the "Lochness Monster Pool" where they had two giant water slides and a zero edge pool and much more. Our 7yr + 1yr old loved it!!
• It was very spread out.

“This golf resort offered lots of options for a family. We went with our 7yr old and 1yr old and everyone had a blast. There is a large family pool called the Lochness Monster pool that offered 2 large water slides and a zero edge pool with little water spouts which our 1yr old loved! Also there was a area like a beach where they had sand and sand toys for the kids to play. The room was also very nice. We upgraded to a suite for an extra $50 and we had a bedroom, living room, dining room and full kitchen. We also had a walk out patio with a table and chairs. This resort was so wonderful we plan to stay there for our next vacation as well. Would definitely recommend for the golf lover or family with children.”

“The man who checked us in was friendly & helpful. They did not have our reservation which was scary but they allowed me to use the Internet & print confirmation then upgraded us to a jr suite which was gorgeous. Very nice staff. Loved this hotel.”

• Beautiful grounds.
• Very little hot water. Several things in room needed repair.

“Very nice grounds and facilities. Ran out of hot water very quickly every time we took a shower. The heat lamp was burnt out and the cable connection on the TV was bad so it had to be wiggled to get a decent signal.”

• The suite was beautiful and cozy. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up.
• There was a foul odor in the Bamboo Restaurant.

“I found this hotel to be overall outstanding. We were very pleased with the accommodations, however, priceline charged us more than the hotel actually cost. We ended up staying for two nights instead of the one we initially booked. But other than that, everything was fine.”

• Amenities.
• The rooms weren't as nice as I'd expected. It seems they put all their money in the amenities & sump on the rooms.

“Loch Ness Monster pool was awesome. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The room, while clean, wasn't as nice as I had expected. The AC didn't keep the room at a constant temperature, when it was running, we were freezing. When the AC turned off, we had to climb out from the covers because the room was terribly hot. Overall a nice, relaxing stay.”

• The 80's architecture, the way it looked like an apartment complex.

“I guess if you are into golf or tennis it was the place to be. I was originally looking for a day at the beach and a spa treatment. I enjoyed a wonderful massage, but they did not have other services: pedicures, facials, manicures. Hey... at least I got out of the house!”

• Very good cleaning staff! Room was immaculately cleaned
• 11$ "Resort charge" per person per day. We were not aware of this, and spent a ton of money to use the pool one time!

“Rooms are nice, and the wild life on the resort is wonderful. Everything about this hotel was great, except the hidden fees. I have never been to a resort that charges you seperately for "resort costs".”

• I felt so secure at the resort. It was very peaceful. All the landscaping was beautiful.
• I wanted to rent a golf cart to ride around the resort, but was unable to do this because I didn't play golf.

“I loved this resort & I can not wait to return. The room was clean & the staff friendly. The staff was taking care of the landscaping and rooms on a daily basis, to make sure very little detail was just right. The gate staff were also very friendly to our quests.”

• Great golf. Great pool. Great location. Quiet.
• Resort fees. Dated appearance. Poor customer service.

“Our stay was great, but not because of the staff. We visited in May (offseason for FL) and staffing was low. I had to wait 10 minutes on hold to talk to the front desk. Resort fees of $13/per person per night are far too expensive--especially considering that the included newspaper isn't delivered on weekends. Overall, however, the stay was nice. Rooms were clean, golf was great but expensive. Food was good, but also expensive--Bamboo's is a waste of money. Loch Ness Pool is fantastic as were the poolside drinks. Hallways and buildings have dated appearance. Hotel is a condo-hotel and is was kind of weird that there were people there living in the building that often times kept their doors open.”

• The pools were great with quiet pools or pools with waterslides and lots of people

“The web site indicated all suites and each with refrigerator and microwave. Billing information showed tax and service charge. We arrived to just a motel room accommodation without refrig. or micro. and last day of our stay were given additional charges for resort fee and tax on top of service fees and tax previously sent to us.”

• Nice pool area, nice area for golfing.
• Hotel should not be a Westin. Rooms were not updated. No elevator, room was on 3 rd floor.

• Comfortable beds, perfect landscaping, nice pools.
• $20 resort fee per day, noisy neighbors through the connecting doors.

“I just wished we had more time to enjoy all the amenities. If one likes golf, tennis, swimming, fitness and relaxing, this is the place. The layout is beautifully maintained. Four tremendous golf courses highlight the resort. I also liked the free shuttle that ran throughout the resort because things are pretty spread out. Would definitely return.”

• It wasn't a hotel, did not like the extra resort charge per day, wasn't on the ocean

“I wished we could choose a hotel that was on the beach. This was a very nice resort, but we do not golf and to have to pay $23 per day resort charge when we didn't even want to utilize the tennis courts, golf, or shuttle.”

• It was dirty, rodents on site and unfriendly staff

“This hotel was awful! The staff was aloof and unfriendly, there were either rats or possums on site, and the rooms were old and musty. I would never recommend this location.”
