“The rooms of this hotel could definitely have been updated. The carpets were stained by burn marks from the iron in several places. The screen door was difficult to open and the beds were extremely uncomfortable.” Oct 26, 2008 by
Sherry
“The hotel had a wonderful location with a beautiful view of Clearwater Beach and ocean. Didn't have any major complaints, since we weren't in our room very much- just to sleep. I would recommend this hotel for a family on a tight budget who wanted easy access to the beach and surrounding businesses and restaurants.” Sep 14, 2008 by
Ed from Sacramento, CA
“The hotel was quiet, comfortable, but looks a little dated (old).” Oct 19, 2007 by
James from Longwood, FL
“Clearwater beach is having some major renovations done. A new high rise hotel is being constructed 1 block down from our hotel and a beach side city walk should be completed by march 2008. As a result, some places where closed. Our hotel was right in the middle of it. All of this did not prevent my wife and I from having a great time. Our hotel does need some repairs and a little make up on the outside would be nice. Maybe after all the construction is completed, they will do so. All in all, our stay was comfortable, room was clean, the front desk person was happy, welcoming, and helpful. I would go back for another stay. We had fun.” Aug 21, 2007 by
Anita from Pataskala, OH
“For $10 more a night, we could have stayed at a very nice hotel down the street with a better view of the beach.” Jul 25, 2007 by
Jen from Ocala, FL
“When we arrived the elevator was broken our room was located on the second floor across from the stairs. Lots of noise. People in the room below us had too many people staying in it, they held an all day all night party outside their room.” Jul 24, 2007 by
Leevon from Roswell, GA
“The hotel stay was nice and peaceful.” Mar 25, 2007 by
Jeffrey from Lakeland, FL
“Only just acceptable, too many young single groups (spring break).” Sep 19, 2006 by
Tanya from Tampa, FL
“With a gulf view, I have to admit that this was a very romantic room. The balcony is quite large so you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery. There is no bathtub, just a shower; however, everything you need such as a hair dryer, microwave, and cooking utensils are right in your room. Very convenient access to beach and restaurants” Jul 16, 2006 by
Ron from Chattanooga, TN
“Nice place visit here often.” Apr 15, 2006 by
Melissa from Vandalia, OH
“Perfect location but wouldn't let us sit by the pool at checkout without paying for another night a little discouraging also pool view was also parking lot view.” Apr 2, 2006 by
Cathy from Bringhurst, IN
“The hotel staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean, but in need of updates and repairs. The hotel was 20 feet from the street, so it was not quiet. Easy access to the beach. Pool was crowded and pool chairs broken.” Mar 21, 2006 by
Bryan from Greenwood, IN
“Recommend gulf view over pool view, free continental breakfast, honey buns and coffee, overall good value.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 12, 2006 by

“This hotel was a good choice for our vacation. It was reasonably priced during the college spring break season which was a plus for us as many of the other hotels were overpriced for that time period. The hotel had friendly and helpful staff and we were pleased with the hotel in general.” Hotel Representatives:
