• Close to the beach.
• Old and needed updating.

“The rooms of this hotel could definitely have been updated. The carpets were stained by burn marks from the iron in several places. The screen door was difficult to open and the beds were extremely uncomfortable.”

• We had a beautiful view of the ocean.
• It didn't seem very well kept. Needed sprucing up.

“The hotel had a wonderful location with a beautiful view of Clearwater Beach and ocean. Didn't have any major complaints, since we weren't in our room very much- just to sleep. I would recommend this hotel for a family on a tight budget who wanted easy access to the beach and surrounding businesses and restaurants.”

• Clean room, good AC, convenient to nearby restaurants.
• It looked a little dated, no amenities like WiFi, gym.

• It was close to the beach and low cost for the area.
• There was no refrigerator; bathroom was in need of repairs.

“Clearwater beach is having some major renovations done. A new high rise hotel is being constructed 1 block down from our hotel and a beach side city walk should be completed by march 2008. As a result, some places where closed. Our hotel was right in the middle of it. All of this did not prevent my wife and I from having a great time. Our hotel does need some repairs and a little make up on the outside would be nice. Maybe after all the construction is completed, they will do so. All in all, our stay was comfortable, room was clean, the front desk person was happy, welcoming, and helpful. I would go back for another stay. We had fun.”

• Odor, no space on elevator, uncomfortable beds, torn sheets, no beach towels.

“For $10 more a night, we could have stayed at a very nice hotel down the street with a better view of the beach.”

• Convenient to the beach.
• Shower was horrible, style and mold. Window above shower did not close all the way. "Gulf view" was obstructed by sand dune.

“When we arrived the elevator was broken our room was located on the second floor across from the stairs. Lots of noise. People in the room below us had too many people staying in it, they held an all day all night party outside their room.”

• Location.
• One of the rooms I booked 'stank' of smoke even though it was 'no smoking¿. No other room available. Staff stated that they could not control guests' ha.

“Only just acceptable, too many young single groups (spring break).”

• It was right on the beach overlooking the gulf of Mexico.
• The staff was not as friendly as they could have been.

“With a gulf view, I have to admit that this was a very romantic room. The balcony is quite large so you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery. There is no bathtub, just a shower; however, everything you need such as a hair dryer, microwave, and cooking utensils are right in your room. Very convenient access to beach and restaurants”

• Perfect location for the price.
• It was a little run down.

“Perfect location but wouldn't let us sit by the pool at checkout without paying for another night a little discouraging also pool view was also parking lot view.”

• Easy access to the beach.
• No selection for breakfast, pool chairs broken.

“The hotel staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean, but in need of updates and repairs. The hotel was 20 feet from the street, so it was not quiet. Easy access to the beach. Pool was crowded and pool chairs broken.”

• Key cards for doors were unreliable.

• Great location with spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico.
• Bathroom window was stuck open and security lock was missing.

“This hotel was a good choice for our vacation. It was reasonably priced during the college spring break season which was a plus for us as many of the other hotels were overpriced for that time period. The hotel had friendly and helpful staff and we were pleased with the hotel in general.”
