• Quality of the rooms, bath furniture, fixtures and decoration.
• Breakfast , buffet food was bad and, omelet was fantastic. Coffee mediocre. Hotel grounds.

“Hotel, location, room quality, lobby and staff were all exceptionally nice. The grounds, shrubs and gardens were truly beautiful! Everything about the room was very nice, you could tell you were in a 3-4 star hotel from that standpoint. The food was the biggest disappointment. Although the attendants and servers were very accommodating and nice, the buffet food was just this side of garbage and thus way over priced. Sausage patties were over cooked, flavorless and dry, the scrambled eggs were dry, the Potatoes were (were those potatoes ?) Now the good part Coffee was always plentiful, OJ great, The personalized omelet made up for a lot of lost ground.”

• Convenient to airport.
• Pool/whirlpool closed! Bad breakfast expensive price.

“I was not pleased that pool, whirlpool was out of order. I had to switch rooms in the middle of the night because the heat was blowing cold air and to compensate me they gave me breakfast coupons for a $9.95 breakfast buffet, that wasn't that good and most hotels in its class offer for free anyway.”

“Hotel was in a nice location. Very modern & clean facility. The only problem was, I assumed it was a free breakfast. After I got the food, I found out differently. Did not feel it was worth the $10 buffet. Overall, the hotel was nice and it was a good experience.”

• We enjoyed the five pillows on each bed the most.
• I am not a coffee drinker. I like tea in my room.

“It convenient to all of the locations we visited. It was near the airport but somewhat secluded and that was nice. The facility was beautiful and we actually spent more time in our room than I thought we would just because the beds were so comfortable. My child didn't even want to swim. We laid in our beds and watched Monk.”

• I liked how the staff was professional and friendly, and very helpful.
• The only thing that I would have liked better is to have a refrigerator in the room.

“We were very pleased with the professional staff and the cleanliness was very much appreciated. The bedding was fabulous and the elevators worked in a timely matter. Laundry room was nice also.”

• Free computer use, close to TCBY.
• Found popcorn kernels under the bed, close enough to edge that I could see it.

“This was a very comfortable accessible hotel for Columbus. I was able to use their computer and printer for my work needs. Room was very nice with great pillows. Air conditioner provided a nice hum for easy sleeping.”

• Very friendly staff and nice sized room for 1 or 2 people.
• Left notes for maid to not throw away the opened hotel soaps/cups. Go green!

• The rooms were nice looking and well kept. The pool area was nice as well.
• The water in the pool was freezing and the on site computers were not available.

“Overall this hotel is nice. I will stay here again when I am in town, this was my second time staying here. The accommodations were great and the only complaint was how cold the pool water is. The staff is very friendly as well.”

• The friendly people in the restaurant.
• The cleaning lady knocked on the door and opened it at 8 a.m. which woke me up. Too early.

• The person who made the change for us made it clearly known that she was doing us a big favor.

• Front desk was less than helpful.

“First night of stay was fine. Second and third nights they had put several rooms full of teenage girls next to me in when about half of the hotel was empty. When I complained about the noise, I was told they would do something about it. This happened several times. Nothing was ever resolved. I did not sleep much those nights due to the noise level. When my toilet didn't flush and then looked like it would overflow, they said they would send some one right up. They didn't. I ended turning the water supply off to the toilet so it wouldn't overflow. Neither of these problems apparently warranted them offering me another room. When I checked out I was going to inform them of my concerns about their lack of responsiveness to my phone calls. I gave them my key card and said I was checking out and all that was said was o.k., and then they turned their back and continued a personal conversation. No "how was your stay" or even "thank you". The room was nice, comfortable and set up well. Unfortunately with all the other concerns, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. And as far as I know, the water is still turned off to the toilet in room 257 because they weren't interested enough to send someone up to check or to talk to me on check out!”

• Water pressure.

“Everything was nice, the room was clean and so forth. The only complaint I had was there was absolutely no water pressure. We asked for another room but they could only show us 2 rooms with same pressure. It was nice, but not 3-4 Star not our room anyway.”

• The heater was broken. I froze to death in my room.

“What you would expect from a Marriott Courtyard. However the heater was broken in my room and they did not offer me any compensation for the fact that I froze during the night.”

• The rooms are great and the flat screen TV is a nice extra.
• The service at breakfast was horrible. I had to hunt for the waitress in order to pay my bill.

“I've stayed at this property twice and I really do like it. The only problem is the workers at the desk seem to be unfriendly. I noticed this both times I was there (particularly one individual) both times I stayed here. The rooms are great and the hotel seems clean.”

“The Marriott courtyard was a nice hotel. Our room was fairly large and comfortably appointed. The linens and mattresses were comfortable. The hotel was nice and very convenient to the airport. The restaurant was not great, which was unfortunate as there are no good restaurants close by.”

• Big-screen TV in room, easy parking, friendly staff, clean, pleasant environment, easy access to highways.
• Not close to a Starbucks or drug store. Poor signage in second-floor hallway made it difficult to find elevator.

• The hotel was clean and comfortable, plus you had the added advantage of a flat panel TV.
• We were not given the breakfast voucher.

“We really liked the hotel. The staff was very nice and helped when needed. The room was clean and spacious. We tried the hot tub, it wasn't the greatest. We actually had to turn the bubbles off. We were disappointed in only one way, because breakfast wasn't included.”
