• Toilet was very noisy - something not working right. Also, air conditioning is not adequate, room was very hot.

“I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions. Everytime, the room is very hot and thermostat in the rooms do not provide adequate cooling. Quite frankly, I do not think the thermostats allow the visitor to adjust.”

• The hotel had comfortable beds.
• No breakfast, no microwave, no fridge, no free internet. All things I get at much cheaper hotels.

• Spacious bathroom.
• Old outdated box television set, the harassment from valets.

“This hotel charges for WiFi, has the old, large box TV sets, and also the 3 separate valet guys repeatedly pestered me while I was in the hotel load in zone. I hadn't even made it in the hotel at this point, and I was in and out, moving my car in less than ten minutes. You are supposed to get 15 minutes, but they were pestering me before I even made it inside. Very annoying. Not impressed with this hotel at all.”

• Even though I went through Priceline I still had access to the Diamond club.
• The only restaurant the hotel has open is some dive sports bar.

• Very clean, nice room and very helpful staff
• Parking cost

“The staff (especially the bellman Chip) was very nice and helpful; the room was comfortable and clean; and the fitness center on the top floor was well equiped. On the other hand, I wouldn't describe the hotel as luxurious and I'm not sure why it's classified as a 4-star hotel. also, as many other people have commented, the valet parking was not cheap, but overall we had a good experience at the Hyatt.”

• The service was fantastic ... went out if their way to make us feel special.
• Not much to do nearby within walking distance.

“We've stayed here a few times. The location isn't all that great because it's in the business part of downtown where there's not much to do nearby. Many of the smaller restaurants nearby cater to the Mon-Fri businesses and not the weekend traveler. But overall, it was ok.”

“Very accommodating, but certainly not 4 star. Marriott Renaissance 3 blocks up 4 stars, Hyatt, not so much. Will not use Priceline again in Columbus, will just book Marriott directly.”

• The room was comfortable and quiet.

“The room itself was very comfortable and we never heard a sound. I didn't hear any doors close, elevator, or people in the hallway. Very comfortable bed. My only complaint was when I called to request 2 beds, I was only guaranteed a room. I would have to wait until I checked in to see if there was a 2 bed room available. But, I used the bell service for storing my luggage and they were great, very helpful, and prompt. Also, the valet parking staff was great, very helpful and so polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to go to Columbus.”

“Front desk area and personnel were very nice. Elevators were quick, and clean. 17th floor hallways were dingy looking, and not real inviting. Hotel was pretty quiet. Room was nice. Area by big window was dusty (was behind curtain, but was a large area where the kids would sit and look out the window). Bathroom was very nice, and large. Overall - good value. We didn't use valet or dining in hotel - so I cannot comment on them.”

“Gorgeous hotel, room was warm, didn't get wake up call, missed my flight. Also, bed was a murphy bed, but a very nice room nonetheless. Was a little surprised that the tub had no anti slip coating.”

• MY DAUGHTER WAS BIT BY BED BUGS!!!!!!!

“I would never stay here again!! It was dirty in the hallways and only half the lights worked!!Dishes outside our neighboring room stayed in the hallway ALL WEEKEND!! I stayed on the 6th floor where outside my room the carpet was waving up and was old and dirty!!! To top it off my daughter was bit by bed bugs!! YUCK!! The sheets on the beds had dirt on them and the extra blanket in the closet was stained!!! I WILL NOT BE BACK!!”

• Location.

“We found wrappers in our room. The towels were not clean as well. We complained to the hotel manager but was told he could not refund our money. Overall I was very disappointed that this was suppose to be a 4 star hotel and it did not meet 4 star standards. I was very unsatisfied.”

• The room was gigantic and really nice. Great bed.

“I loved this hotel and wanted to stay longer just to sleep in the great bed! My room had a great view, wonderful ammenities,and the lounge was fantastic. I found the bar tender and waiters to be very friendly and the grape/blue cheese pizza was outstanding.”

“This hotel was on capital square. The area was hard to find and navigate in. The prices for a bottle of water was $3. There are only a couple of restaurants near here and you have to walk a couple blocks to find them as they are hidden. I don't recommend staying here as the area was loaded with cops.”

• There was
  no shuttle service. I was furious to find out that they had shuttle service only for certain contracted customers.

“The room was fine, staff was nice, but I hated that they did not provide shuttle service to the convention center The service they has was only available at certain hours which did not even help. Unfortunately next time I come to Columbus I won't stay there if I need shuttle service”

• I asked for a room with a view of the capitol and got it . The room and the view were beautiful.

“It is a really nice hotel. Everything I would have expected from a Hyatt hotel. Parking was $20.00 extra. But valets were prompt in getting my car.”

• Conveneient.
• Extremely noisy neighbors, no help from front desk.

“The hotel is gorgeous, we have stayed here a lot, but this time we experienced some big problems. Our neighbors were extremely noisy until 4:30 am and since I was traveling alone with my two children, I called the front desk for help. The operator put me on hold for ten minutes and no one picked up. At 3
am. and food delivery person was pounding on my door to try and deliver food to next door. This was not room service, but an outside restaurant. To me, that is a serious security issue that they allow people who are not guests access to the rooms. I was very disappointed and may not return.”

• Comfortable beds, beautiful view, nice bathroom.
• No on-site parking, no free internet access, no breakfast.

“The hotel was gorgeous. We had a high floor room and it had a beautiful view of the city. There was a beautifully equipped desk but there was no free internet access and to pay for access was quite costly. There was also no on-site (free) parking- only valet, but we were able to park on the street nearby for free during the evening hours.”
