• Nice decorations, cool workout room, friendly staff, nice and spacious bathroom.
• Carpets are in need of major spot removal and valet is $21.00 or $12 in the garage.

“This is a very nice hotel. Rooms are very nice, large flat screen, comfy beds, nice bathroom. My only complaints are hotel valet parking is $21 and garage parking is up to $12 overnight. Meters were in effect 8am-6pm with free parking on Sundays and holidays.”

• Friendly staff. Conveniently located to Nationwide Arena.
• Ridiculous parking situation. $12-$21 extra per night. Restaurant staff and service. Valet employees were not helpful. No free WIFI.

“This was a nice hotel for the price paid. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Also, it was very convenient to Nationwide Arena. I was very disappointed in the parking situation. If you let the hotel valet's park your car for your it's $21.00 per night. If you park yourself if the near by garage it's still $12.00 per night. No validation.”

• Clean and inviting - desk staff, valet staff, bartender were efficient, friendly, helpful and courteous - love the free wireless internet!
• The elevators were stinky. Thats it - everything else was great.

“Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The hotel needs updating to rival other 4 star hotels. The room had at one point had some water damage and felt a little small for the price.”

• The location was perfect. Staff very helpful.
• Restaurant charges you 10 bucks for a breakfast thats not good.

“The hotel staff was wonderful. The room was great. I did not like restaurant that is downstairs. It serves poor quality food for height prices. Very bad staff. I had to wait about ten minutes to pay my ticket.”

“Convenient to Convention Center, able to walk to arena and downtown. Very nice and clean. Had to get keys to room 3 times as lock malfunctioned. Parking and Max and Erma restaurant expensive.”

• Fee for using an internet desktop and expensive parking.

“The hotel is situated at a nice downtown location, however for families I wouldn't advise this hotel. The small pool is located in a crampy room in the basement. You have to pay for using an internet desktop. Keep in mind that you also have to pay for parking (valley = $21 per day).”

• The rooms were very nice, clean and very upscale.
• Not a lot of parking available that you did not have to pay for.

“The hotel was more than I had expected. Very nice and clean. We had the 12th floor with a very nice view of the city. The only thing was not a lot of free available parking. But overall I would stay there again.”

• I really liked the restaurant (Max and Erma's) which is attached to the hotel.
• I did not like the fact that 10 minutes after settling into our room the fire alarm went off and we have to evacuate.

“This hotel was fairly nice. Max and Erma's is a great place to eat, and it's attached to the hotel. I certainly didn't think the room we stayed would have been worth the full asking price.”

• Rooms were dusty and not cleaned well, carpeting needs serious cleaning.

“Average hotel. Nice lobby/bar area. This area is kept nice and the hotel is in a nice safe part of Columbus. The pool area and workout facility are small and the work out area smells bad, more than just sweat. The king room had an ok mattress (too soft for me). The carpeting needs updating or a serious cleaning.”

“I came to Columbus for a show in the convention center attached to the hotel. I, as usual, was running late. The Valet Parking attended to my needs and allowed me to check in after the show. The desk staff and every employee I had contact with were wonderful. I would stay in this hotel again.”

• They charge me 10 USD for 5 min TV-radio.

“My experience was excellent but they charge me 21 USD for parking? In Columbus?? Come on I really don't care to pay 30 USD but in Chicago. Also while I was showering I put the TV-radio station for no more than 10 min and they charge me for 10 USD?.”

• The front desk staff very helpful, recommended yummy restaurant.
• Parking only convenient choice is valet, which was pricey.

“This hotel was a great value for the price. Our first impression was a good one from the nicely appointed front lobby, to the clean and pretty rooms. The children enjoyed the pool, the workout room was well done, and the front desk staff was efficient and friendly.”

• Staff responded quickly and were very friendly. Great service.
• The smoking room was small and could have used some air freshener of some sorts or a window that opens more.

“The hotel was great for the price. They were friendly and responsive. Valet/shuttle service was friendly and very helpful. This is great for the business traveler or leisure travelers without kids. The pool and fitness room are gloomy and down in the basement, so it wasn't good for kids and rather boring for adults. The lounge has a nice atmosphere. Max and Ermas were good for dinner but Id never suggest going there for breakfast. Service, quality, and price were awful.”

• Mold in the bathroom, they were not clean and the beds both sank in the middle, no sleep support.

“While the price was right for our budget I think we could have had better beds and a cleaner bathroom at the red roof inn down the street. It was good for location, the staff was friendly and helpful but the age of the room we stayed in clearly showed upkeep was not important beyond the lobby and hallways. I would spend a little more and stay somewhere else next time. We arrived after midnight and when we pulled in the valet boys were lounging and none to quick to help us with our luggage or get our keys to park the car. We could have done it quicker ourselves.”

• Location, location, location: across the street from the convention center.
• Poor restaurant and room service provided.

“For the most convenient location in Columbus, across from the convention center and 2 blocks from nationwide arena, choose the Crowne plaza. But location is not everything. Room service is abominable: after waiting over an hour for breakfast order delivery, they had no idea who I was or what we had ordered when we called. Though breakfast was then delivered gratis, it was still unnerving to see the $2.00 "delivery fee" posted to the hotel bill on checkout.”

• The staff was very polite and helpful and it was very close to everything!
• The room could have been bigger and there was a little trash left behind when we checked in.

“This was a great hotel room for the price and location. It was conveniently located to great restaurants and shopping and the parking was affordable. It had a pool in the basement and workout facilities. The room service from the nearby restaurant was so-so, but everything else met and/or exceeded our expectations.”

“Most all was good; however, I got a 2 standard room when I was supposed to have a King. Room was mostly clean, but could have been a bit cleaner. There was some dust in places that probably don't normally get regular treatment in non-smoking rooms (ours was smoking).”

• It was quiet at night.
• The hallways had an odd odor.

“It was nice, and you could tell it was recently updated. The location was great, very close to major highways. The valet parking was a bit expensive, and the valets seemed much unorganized, but they always had our car ready in the morning when we needed to leave. Overall, the hotel met my expectations.”

“I really loved all the TLC. I loved all the little "treats" in our room. The relaxing CD, ear plugs, and lavender sheet spray was a great touch. It showed that they care. Great experience.”

• The hotel was elegant, extremely quiet which was surprising for a downtown hotel, very convenient to the airport, and the beds were extra comfortable.
• The parking added considerable cost, because we had two cars. We went to the public garage, right behind the hotel. One car got out for $4, before 6 am.

“We had a good and enjoyable stay at this hotel, with no problems at all.”

• $24.00 I had to pay for parking in garage for 2 days.

“I would recommend the Crowne Plaza downtown Columbus, Ohio to anyone. The rooms were very clean. Beds were very comfortable. The shuttle service that the hotel provided was excellent. The coffee shop in lobby was very convenient for those of us who like our specialty coffees. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.”

“This hotel is located in the "hub" of the city where everything good occurs. The room was stylish, comfortable and spacious. The staff could not have been more attentive and anticipated my needs before I could ask. I would definitely recommend this hotel!”

• Small rooms, horrible pool and bad parking situation.

“I would recommend this hotel if you just want a place to sleep or if you have business in downtown Columbus, but it's not really very impressive at all and is not the place for a romantic getaway. I think it's ridiculous that you have to pay $21 to park. The hotel wasn't very clean and is very out-dated. There is no microwave or mini-fridge.”

• Drunk guy in bar at 11 pm when we returned from a show. Made me uneasy with a 7 year old girl. Hotel called security.
