• I like the location, atmosphere, the view and the service. We have stayed there frequently for many years.
• Parking is very expensive; Id like more convenient parking at a more reduced rate.

• Valet pricing we were told over the phone $18.00 they failed to tell us the overnight price is $21.

• Location, cleanliness, hotel chain.
• Swimming pool was too cold to be comfortable and enjoy. Carpeting in the halls looks outdated and worn. Parking is expensive.

“Nice hotel, good location right near the heart of the short north shops and restaurants and the Arena district in Columbus. Parking seemed a bit expensive at $20 per night.”

• I liked the room decor.
• I was disappointed that the table m3p player speakers would not allow IPod classics.

“I enjoyed the location of the hotel in the city. It was very close to the palace theater to which we were going. The rooms were very comfortable and the desk staff was helpful each time we asked for directions.”

• Their fees/cost for parking, internet, and food were extremely high.

“The rooms were very nice, but expect to pay a considerable amount more for parking ($14.00/day), internet ($9.99/day), and were about double what it would be at a normal restaurant. If you want to eat there are several fantastic locally owned affordable restaurants just down the street on High Street (towards the short north).”

• Clothes closet a bit small. Unhandy to use.

“I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel had recently been updated, so the rooms and lobby were gorgeous. We ate a small meal at their bar and it was great. The front desk staff was very helpful with directions to local shopping and store listings. I would definitely stay there again!!”

• Pay internet and pay parking adds $25 to this room.

“I'd rather stay in a 3 star hotel with free internet and free parking than stay in a 4 star without.”

“Great location with easy parking through a series of catwalks. The bed was very comfortable. The lobby looked very lively we were only there 10 hours so we did not eat or drink anything in the hotel.”

• Absolutely convenient to nationwide arena for our concert.
• I thought this hotel had a pool.

“Very convenient for anyone attending an event at nation wide arena or who likes the convenience of being able to walk to shops and restaurants. The short north and the arena district are very close. The hotel was quite bustling because of the attached convention center but the room was very quiet with a view of downtown Columbus.”

“The shape of the room is triangle and smelled, very cold in that room, the facilities are too bad. This is even worse than a motel. But the hotel staff is very nice and kind.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Columbus. A very nice in downtown Columbus. The beds were very comfortable. It was very clean. The two negatives were food prices ($3.74 for a cup of regular coffee) and the parking situation. You have to walk a long way to park your car. The parking lot closes at 11 p.m. and I had to get my car out at midnight. It took more than 30 minutes to find someone who could help me. Totally unacceptable. If not for the parking incident, our stay would top notch all the way. I commented on the price of coffee, which was ridiculous, but probably not out of line with other business-class hotels.”

• The decorative pillows on the bed were a nice touch, and being able to purchase the items in the room if wanted.
• I wished I could have bought the tourist book that compiled the local events for the year.

“Check in was a breeze, almost as fast as printing boarding passes at the airport kiosks. With a zip to my room, I was greeted by a spectacular view of downtown Columbus, a bed that felt as if you were sleeping on a cloud and a location so close to the action I felt I could live there. If you can be patient with a 30 second wait for an elevator, easy internet access and a lack of outlets on the walls, you will feel right at home.”

• Great location downtown at convention center.
• No hot tub.

“The Hyatt Regency is a modern well maintained hotel located in the Columbus convention center. Although parking is a block away there are completely covered walkways, of course there is also valet parking. The hotel is also very close to other downtown attractions, a block from Nationwide Arena and the nightlife and restaurants of the arena district, and just a few blocks from the center of downtown. German Village would be quite a hike, but a short drive. Access to I670 is very close; it's only a 10-15 minute drive to The Ohio State University and Columbus Crew Stadium. Other areas like Easton, Dublin, and the airport are only 20 minutes away. The hotel also offers inside dining and room service, plus there is a food court in the adjacent convention center.”

“We were in town for just one night and the hotel was in an excellent location for what we wanted to do/see. The room was clean and recently updated. A little confusing trying to get to the hotel to check in and park however. I pulled into the front and it was the valet area but we did not want to valet ($$)and it was pretty crazy when we were checking in. Ended up in the garage next door for $14/day no in and out which was fine for us. Overall, very satisfied with the hotel but we were there pretty much to sleep. Did not use any of the common areas of the hotel such as pool/restaurant/bar.”

“This hotel met or exceeded my expectations. It was as good or better as many 4 star hotels I have stayed in. Good location on the near north side of downtown Columbus. Upscale appearance of public areas as well as the room. Spacious, well appointed room with a great bed. The hotel staff was terrific.”

• High-quality hotel in an excellent location.
• Parking is expensive in Columbus. Best rate we could find was $12 per day a block away.

“This is outstanding Hyatt regency near Columbus' arena district. The rooms are very clean and quiet and customer service is excellent. Several good restaurants are within walking distance, including martinis on high street. Aside from the high cost of parking in Columbus (best we could do was $12 per day in a garage a block away), we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.”

• The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in while traveling.
• Needs to leave more sugar and creamer packets with the coffee pot!

• Got a smoking room after having called the hotel after making reservation and they said they would hold me a non-smoking room.

“It is somewhat dirty, very used. Parking is too high. Gave away our non-smoking room after confirming on phone that they would save us one. Overall, a bad experience.”

• We would like more convenient parking without the added expense of valet parking.

• It was in a central downtown location with lots of restaurants in walking distance.
• Housekeeping - the second day did not clean coffee pot - give more coffee cups - & we were unable to ck out through TV.

“It was a nice hotel in a central location - very nice concierge and nice employees. Very busy that weekend - we valet our car and the valet attendee's seemed very busy and took awhile to get the car. The hotel was very busy the weekend we stayed. Overall enjoyed are stay.”

• The corner room on the top floor was breathtaking.
• The parking garage was far away.

“We stayed here to celebrate my 30th birthday and boy was it amazing! We were upgraded to a premium corner room on the top floor with the coveted endless windows. Even sitting on the toilet had a great view! Can't say enough about the quality of this hotel. Don't be in a hurry for the elevators, just enjoy the experience.”
