Sharlene from North Canton, OH “I can't believe that they built a nice hotel right next or maybe on rail road tracks. They offered ear plugs but it didn't help the five to six time it woke me up in the middle of the night. ” Jun 15, 2005 by
Leslie from Cincinnati, OH
“Very nice hotel - nicer than I expected.” Jun 8, 2005 by
Michael from Fort Wayne, IN
“I've stayed at this Residence Inn about five times. Major problem is train noise, make sure to ask for a room not in the back near the tracks. The last time I was there, about two weeks ago was the first time I've stayed when the weather was nice but the pool was not filled or open yet. Also there was renovation going on in the breakfast area. The location is great if you like to walk to restaurants and to the movies. Also you can have a nice walk by taking in the Pontifical Josephinum College across the street.” Apr 13, 2005 by
Leslie from Corinth, KY
“Room was huge, with private bedroom suite, great amenities, 2 tvs, microwave, fridge and even a fireplace and windows that open. Very clean and staff was helpful. Great hotel - hope to stay there again. Oh, and the food was great too. Nice selection.” Mar 15, 2005 by
Deidre from Madison, WV
“only complaint would be the railroad noise, otherwise great experience” Mar 9, 2005 by
Dan from Janesville, WI
“This is not a 2 1/2 star hotel due to the loud freight train that runs right outside the windows. It was very loud and we did not sleep all weekend. We were very dissapointed and marriot. We received no room change or compensation for our inconvenience.” Mar 8, 2005 by
Stephen from Mishawaka, IN
“A nice experience. I would be happy to be booked here again. The rooms were very spacious. The free breakfast was very good.” Mar 6, 2005 by
Dave from Middletown, IN
“The hotel was located right next to some very busy railroad tracks (within 200 feet). Trains ran all night and were very loud. The first night neither the furnace or the gas fireplace worked. I had to heat the room with the kitchen stove. The next night the fireplace was fixed, but still not the furnace. The third night it worked properly.” Feb 23, 2005 by
Michael from Altoona, PA
“The hotel was very neat and clean. The staff was friendly to make sure our stay was nice. The continental breakfast was an added bonus, but not the best food for the occasion. Overall it served our needs well.” Feb 11, 2005 by
Page from Campbellsville, KY
“it sits right next to a railway track but the noise is amazingly not too bad--comfortable and homey” Feb 9, 2005 by
Rick from Northville, MI
“They cleaned our room on Sat.We came back to very wet floors Jan 29, 2005 by
Pam from Cincinnati, OH
“Very nice accomodations. It was roomier than your normal hotel room. The lobby with roaring fireplace and hot breakfast was very inviting.” Jan 26, 2005 by
Loretta from Columbus Grove, OH
“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to get a good nights sleep.” Jan 13, 2005 by
Joyce from Sandusky, OH
“We had an enjoyable time at this hotel. The staff was very courteous, the room was large, there was a refrigerator, small stovetop, micro, two TVs, and wonderful buffet breakfast. The only two complaints we would have, the bathroom is not heated so you have to keep the door open to have heat in there and the train tracks are very close if you are a light sleeper.” Jan 12, 2005 by
Kevin from Kent, OH
“Finding the hotel is slightly complicated as it's not on a main strip. But it's close to several nice restaurants and the highway to other attractions. The hotel is very well kept and the staff was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was incredible!! What a bonus!! The closest thing to a complaint that I had was that we were near train tracks and could hear trains. If you like trains, you couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. I almost wish I had another reason to go to Columbus!” Jan 7, 2005 by
Mike from Indianapolis, IN
“Overall, a great experience, from the check-in clerk, to the waitress at dinner, and even the check-out person. The room was awesome, and everything I needed, including the size of the room and the High Speed Internet, made the stay very easy.” Nov 30, 2004 by
Joyce M. from Parkersburg “The hotel was better than I expected on such short notice. My husband and I were both very pleased with the beauty, cleanliness, and service.”
