“I can't believe that they built a nice hotel right next or maybe on rail road tracks. They offered ear plugs but it didn't help the five to six time it woke me up in the middle of the night. ”

• Near restaurants and theater.
• Railroad noise.

“I've stayed at this Residence Inn about five times. Major problem is train noise, make sure to ask for a room not in the back near the tracks. The last time I was there, about two weeks ago was the first time I've stayed when the weather was nice but the pool was not filled or open yet. Also there was renovation going on in the breakfast area. The location is great if you like to walk to restaurants and to the movies. Also you can have a nice walk by taking in the Pontifical Josephinum College across the street.”

• The room was HUGE with more amenities than I have at home!
• Proximity to train tracks... but for the price I can deal with it.

“Room was huge, with private bedroom suite, great amenities, 2 tvs, microwave, fridge and even a fireplace and windows that open. Very clean and staff was helpful. Great hotel - hope to stay there again. Oh, and the food was great too. Nice selection.”

• Clean, large rooms, decent location
• It has a freaking freight train with a loud horn 30 yards outside our window

“This is not a 2 1/2 star hotel due to the loud freight train that runs right outside the windows. It was very loud and we did not sleep all weekend. We were very dissapointed and marriot. We received no room change or compensation for our inconvenience.”

• Nice place. Good value.
• The maid did not come to our room to clean it until 4pm.

“A nice experience. I would be happy to be booked here again. The rooms were very spacious. The free breakfast was very good.”

• I like the Residence Inn's I have stayed at in general.
• Had to ask twice to have heat repaired. Next to railroad tracks. Very loud.

“The hotel was located right next to some very busy railroad tracks (within 200 feet). Trains ran all night and were very loud. The first night neither the furnace or the gas fireplace worked. I had to heat the room with the kitchen stove. The next night the fireplace was fixed, but still not the furnace. The third night it worked properly.”

• The hotel was very nice for the deal.
• The location was at first difficult to find.

“The hotel was very neat and clean. The staff was friendly to make sure our stay was nice. The continental breakfast was an added bonus, but not the best food for the occasion. Overall it served our needs well.”

“They cleaned our room on Sat.We came back to very wet floors
and cushions spread all over the room. You would think they
would wash the rug and furniture on a day noone was there.
Trains very loud all night-this is not a place we would choose to
go back to.”

• The hot breakfast including eggs and sausage was perfect.
• The train outside my window every 30 minutes all night didn't allow for much sleep.

“Very nice accomodations. It was roomier than your normal hotel room. The lobby with roaring fireplace and hot breakfast was very inviting.”

• I liked the suite with a separate sleeping area
• There were trains that passed ouside the window every half hour throughout the night.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to get a good nights sleep.”

• Great buffet breakfast!
• Close to train tracks and bathroom not heated.

“We had an enjoyable time at this hotel. The staff was very courteous, the room was large, there was a refrigerator, small stovetop, micro, two TVs, and wonderful buffet breakfast. The only two complaints we would have, the bathroom is not heated so you have to keep the door open to have heat in there and the train tracks are very close if you are a light sleeper.”

• Breakfast buffet was incredible! The room was gorgeous.
• We were close to train tracks and could hear trains.

“Finding the hotel is slightly complicated as it's not on a main strip. But it's close to several nice restaurants and the highway to other attractions. The hotel is very well kept and the staff was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was incredible!! What a bonus!! The closest thing to a complaint that I had was that we were near train tracks and could hear trains. If you like trains, you couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. I almost wish I had another reason to go to Columbus!”

“Overall, a great experience, from the check-in clerk, to the waitress at dinner, and even the check-out person. The room was awesome, and everything I needed, including the size of the room and the High Speed Internet, made the stay very easy.”
